I’ve been following your StarCraft streams for a while, and I have to say, you’re absolutely awesome at what you do. Your insights, strategies, and gameplay are top-notch, and I’ve learned so much just from watching you play. Your content adds a lot of value to the StarCraft community, and I truly appreciate the hard work you put into your videos and streams. Keep up the fantastic work, and know that you have a solid supporter in me! Looking forward to more epic content.
The year is 2038: more than 85% of SC2 matches are uthermal challenges. Scientists are baffled by the first instance of "multiverse computing" as utermal is matched against uthermal.
Ghosts trade better against colossus than you'd think. Depending on the upgrades, if micro'd to minimize splash,+ 2 EMPs, 3 ghosts should beat a colossus. Since ghosts aren't light, it takes ~5 colossus swipes to kill a ghost.
Challenge ideas: Sieging only- army centers on mines, tanks, and libs. In the strictest form, only unseiging when you need to move them. Second idea: Burrow rush.
I think when at the end of each game, it shows at the top (white text). For example, at the end of game one, it says 30 - 4, which means 30 wins 4 loses
@@baculleon6955 I mean for the record for how the challenge is doing against each race as well, since he talks about how some cheeses are harder against certain races
Time to mix it up Marc. Throw in soem planetary fortress rushes with widow mine escorts. Medivac drops. Or. Go hardcore defensive, and try and see how many banshees you can save before trying for a banshee overwhelm.
I think the only valid strategy from now on might be early harass choke and base trade? "Espionage Trader" might be a more fitting name than "You Can't See Me"?
I think we need to do predictive nuking- when you expect to force a response with the first wave of nukes, after a small delay post a nuke on where it would be most logical for him to go after he’s dodged the first wave
How about a series where every 10 (or 15?) mins, you can change strategy? So say you open cloak-only, but then start getting countered, if you survive to 15 minutes, you can switch to any other meme-comp challenge
I don’t think you should ever add on additional factories unless its like mass bc or skytal. Against zerg I think mass ghost with widow mines for support is probally best and maybe a single starport since roaches might be an issue
YOu should experiement in how to hide a red dot. Typically its an overlay, but hte red dot can be hidden by some units.. just imagine where their camera is and how to block them from seeing it, or colours etc. Red Dot is hard to see. but certain texture and layer issues in some units that can hide the dot. hmm... or distort... but hte angle of camera can reveal it. on a side note, what if recall since it uses energy, recharges shields simultaneously. SO liek a very slow shield battery... on all units... which makes it doubly defensive. Or while in recall the phasic states causes, dogdge/evasion trait to be enacted during and after for 3.2 seconds, 20% dodge.
A bit expensive, but you could also try nuking main base infrastructure, 3-4x nukes to wipe most out. Should be quite unexpected and effective as the first time you nuke in their main seems to always land from what I've seen.
I call clickbait Marc :) - certainly not your greatest self-nukes of all time (remember the roaches up the ramp, and the game immediately after that?). Self-nuking should be your new late-game cheese. Make a sacrificial base, wait for opponent to attack it with all their army, then surround it with 4-6 simultaneous nuke blasts which also cover all exit points.
If Widow Mines only target units that haven't been targeted already by another widow mine, wouldn't it be better to spread them out more? It would also slow down any attacks, as the opponent would also be stopping and searching every time a mine goes off. You'd also be covering more of the map, be able to see more of the map and catch drops all over the place 😉 Especially leaving a couple of mines in the mineral line would be a good idea that it appears people don't seem to think of. It would destroy drops and air attacks automatically. Am I missing something? You know, using mines actually AS mines?
You're missing that you just can't afford that many mines idling just in case they accidentally become useful. Your numbers are always going to be limited, so actively placing them in spots with highest (chance of) activity is better - at high level especially because the micro cost is small to uThermal.
@@eclipseeffigy Well that would certainly make the mineral lines a good bet then, as well as one on main approach lines for drops. I don't mean using all your cap on mines around the map mind, a few spread on the approach when the opponent attacks would be a surprise, and a few spread out in danger spots.
Ghost Academy fire control: "Alpha 03, are you SURE about that last set of launch coordinates?!?!"
Ghost: "Bring the rain". 😎
I said lunch, not launch 😀
That sounds so cool man, thanks for that comment! :D
I can hear it in the Ghosts voice lol

winning a base race by double nuking your main is absolutely epic
Interesting how Thermys voice switches in and out frequently from high pitch/falsetto voice to normal voice when he gets exited 😂
Dutch.
long before following uT i would listen to Paul verhoeven commentaries and interviews so I know the ways of the excitable Dutchman 😁
Puberty 😂
Thats why i like him.. im getting exited aswell 😊😊
'Launch those nukes'
'But Emperor those are our men.'
'In war there are sacrafices for the better good, launch them right now'
'Yes Emperor'
29:10 That poor Reaper doing the short patrol back and forth. How dizzy must he have been. I got dizzy just watching him! :D
This is such a joy to watch, it's truly incredible how you manage to make almost every game so damn interesting to watch.
Uthermal is literally radiating. Crazy first game 😂
No wonder he is after nuking himself so many times
12:25 i like the idea of spamming emp runbys to get more utility out of ghosts vs Terran
32:49 - 33:10 "It's not usually rocket science." Nice pun XD
Would love to see you hide banshee’s while amassing them with a HUGE game winning surprise all in with them.
Holy crap those self nukes were incredible. Literally 4 of them!! Two covering your entire main! Insane 💥🔥 love the big plays!!
Maxim 20: "If you're not willing to shell your own position, you're not willing to win."
25:45 unintentional word play "his units were better than mines" xD
Marc, if you're not really sure what to nuke, go for depots, garanteed raze. Like in the last game there were many depots there near CC.
uthermal nukes own base and makes it clear iits the best option to get a victory. Incredible.
Always a fun video with uThermal.
"playing minesweeper"... lol... you funny marc :D
that first game was legendary. Again ghosts prove to generate the most amazing games.

Opponent: I’m going to kill you.
uThermal: Let me help you
*calls in nukes on own base*
Opponent: What did you say?
*BOOM*
I never lose faith in uThermal. So long as there's 1 Ghost still alive it can kill up to 100 supply single handedly.
That was.. the best nuke game I've seen from you in awhile!
It'd be interesting to see the win/loss record for each of the races for each challenge

That widow mine lockon issues is further aggravated by the closer mine having moved a fraction more and burrowed a fraction later.

Watching those self nukes was better than watching a queen sacrifice into checkmate.
Marc forgot that a ghost is a widow mine's best friend against phoenixes.
34:57 I thought the audio was stuttering at first lol.
Thanks for the cloaking and nuking fun! x^)
The ultimate bait would be wait for him to try and lift the WMs then EMP at the last second so he can't do it and all his stuff blows up.
Arcturus would be proud of those nukes
marc have you ever nuking your own army when there is a threat of attacking so when you retreat, he goes in? kinda hard to time but so big brain :)
Greatest double seppuku I’ve ever seen. GGWP!!!
13:52 Really, how did he not fall back...

This was an amazing episode!!!
Hello uThermal. Is there any chance that you would create a beginner mech guide ?
That first game was absolutely awsome to watch
Wow. So much action just like a movie 🍿
I think the only valid strategy from now on might be early harass choke and base trade?

Game 1 was so so good.
Aww yeah. Just finished cooking and now I got something to watch.
what if you scan the main base but banshee nuke the natural wouldn't that be evil?
Gosh - with a title like that - you just know it's going to be good!
What I learned is: "When in doubt, nuke your own base"
You make nuking look so darn easy 😎
I think we need to do predictive nuking- when you expect to force a response with the first wave of nukes, after a small delay post a nuke on where it would be most logical for him to go after he’s dodged the first wave
in the mass ghost challenge he nuked a colossus army from behind and front and the guy stepped back into it
@@pirds102010 That plus the zerg ramp nuke were absolutely the best nukes I've ever seen.
Dude self nukes during a basetrade and blows mind of grandmaster player. Keeps a 20 year old game refreshing.
Gotta love those Mengsk strategies
I was 100% sure you aren't going to win last game, but all you needed was that one nuke in the main to pull it off
You should try scanning where you're not nuking to make the opponent look in the wrong place ;)
you couldnt script a more perfect episode
Crazy nukes! Awesome!
that was absolutly EPIC!!!!!
We never lose faith in you Thermy 🙏 ❤️ 💙 🙌🏻!
Great games 🎮 👏 👌
Might arguee that a nuke is rocket science 😂
i was hoping some medivacs would drop some widowmines in game 2.
Would you be willing to film your hands for one game, from its beginning to its conclusion?
always good stuff
Nice nukes wow I would of raged hard on that GG.
That was sick😊

you should use the terran ghost banner to suit with the username and profile pic

nukes can be so boring when the enemy just keeps dodging them... then there is this game.

NUKE seff FTW~!~
First game awesomely entertaining..... awesome..... 👌 😂😊😮😊
there is a reason you got famous with the ghost
Crazy
Let's go!
Normally I'd be frustrated by the nukes, but when you do it to your own base, that's just greedy on their part....
Purge by fire.
Rofl nuking yourself to the win...
Self nuke to GM.
