This video is awesome! You and your sister did a great job getting the b-roll. One thing I would say though is you should mute the audio track of your screen recording during the editing section of the video. That way it won't sound like it's echoing

I've come to similar conclusions with scripting. Everything word for word is too much, but nothing and I have trouble finding the right things to say. A balanced approach is the perfect solution :)

I don't use a script; instead, I rely on bullet points and freestyle because I generally have a good understanding of the topic, unless it requires specific details like a product review. Your sister deserves to be paid for her work. In all seriousness, she did a good job.

I filmed this video on the Sony ZV-1F (B-roll using Nikon D3500) but now I use the Sony A7cII :)

i remember this app i've seen a few months ago. there was this app that can fix that eyesight problem. you're reading a script looking down. and it will make you look straight to the camera. but its not free.

Scripting and filming are the biggest pain for me. I also tried both - word-for-word script and main points with sub-points and I honestly don't know what to stick with. Word-for-word may seems less natural in the video but as a non-native speaker it's quite difficult for me to talk decently with just talking points and it makes me nervous which is then visible in the video. 😅
