I've now viewed enough of your videos to get a sense of your personality. Not even an awesome lakeside meal of fish n chips could take the sting out of possibly ruining ones favorite camera. But, you were a trooper and made the best of it. Nice spot and great scenery. Sad that people leave their garbage in the beautiful forests. Doesn't take much to clean up aftee oneself. Interesting stove. Enjoyed the video very much. Good luck with hopefully saving that camera.😊
Having a nice meal in such a beautiful place definitely helps lift the mood. I was just happy I could still capture everything with my phone. Such a pretty place. Glad I was able to find a spot away from all the fire pits. I can understand one or two fire pits being left so that others have a place for a fire but 20 being in such close proximity to each other was kinda crazy. And leaving all the garbage is just shameful. Oh well. I will never understand it. I’ve had the camera covered in rice all week. I’m going to take it out later today and see if it works. 🤞🤞🤞. Appreciate you watching another video. All the best
@@GoingSoloOutdoors It is a bit late now, but the rice thing does nothing. It is better to cut all power once it got exposed to water, take it as far apart as safely possible and let it dry in a well ventilated place, air conditioning with a dry setting would be ideal. Safest bet would be to bring it to a professional who deals with water damaged electronics ASAP.
@@Angry__German Thanks for the input. Fortunately the rice trick did work. After 2 weeks in the rice all water is gone from the viewfinder and the camera appears to be working perfectly 👍. The lens on the other hand also must have received damage in the fall and that no longer works, so I’ll be purchasing a new lens. Really appreciate you taking the time to comment. All the best.
Reading from Arizona and raised by a 30-year Navy man who happened to be part native American I was raised to take out everything that we bring in. If other people left trash we would take it out with us too.
@@ArtandDiamondsWithEskies 👍 always best to leave a place better than you found it. If I ever have extra room in my trash bag, I always try to bring out any litter I find.
Glad you liked it! It was really nice getting in both a hike and a paddle on this trip. You will definitely be seeing the packraft again in future videos! ATB
48:43 - I was very happy to hear you explain how the iPhone was attached haha! As a video person myself, I nerd out on the details of getting shots. Again, great video.
Thank you. 😂👍 gotta make it work sometimes. I was just happy. I was able to figure something out so I could film the rest of the video. It was such a great camp spot I would’ve been gutted if I couldn’t capture it. Really appreciate you taking the time to comment. Hope you have a nice week.
@@GoingSoloOutdoors and totally unrelated to this video, but you have me really wanting to get into using my trangia for cooking. Your cooking portions of the videos is very relaxing and makes me want to do more of this outdoors.
Your videos are honestly my favourite to watch and I always look forward to a new one. Always inspires me to get outdoors and explore. Thank you so much for making them 🏕️
The wind and rain videos always seem to be popular but I much prefer a camp like this (minus my camera falling in the water 😅) Really appreciate you watching! Hope you have a nice weekend.
@@GoingSoloOutdoors Maybe you could add a short section at the start of the videos, with the synopsis and any other thoughts about the trip? You could show the route you'll be taking on google earth and the weather, etc. It could be done before or after the video, tbh.
You are THE BEST Camp Cook! I couldn’t prepare and cook fish like that in the kitchen at home! 😂 You make camp cooking look SO easy! My husband and I absolutely love your videos! That location was amazing and loved your pack raft, the camp spot was just perfect! Was terribly sad about your camera, hope you get it working again! Thanks for yet another top notch camp video! ❤ 🙏 ❤
Thanks! Glad you two are still enjoying the videos. Despite the unfortunate events with the camera I really enjoyed this camp. A nice change of pace from just hiking up the mountain 👍. Hope you two have a nice weekend. ATB
That was nice, now I'll have to find a future video to find out about the fate of your camera. Pack raft was a nice video, you had beautiful weather for this trip. I can't even deep fry in a regular kitchen st home, here you are, whipping up fish and chips in the wilderness! Looks so tasty. I'm from north central British Columbia, Canada 🇨🇦. Bear country, fish and chips would invite bears from every where. Thus we don't cook fish outside. It's really sad how people leave garbage. I was taught, leave it better than when you arrived. It was sad seeing the other island with dead and dying trees.
Fortunately, after two weeks in a bowl of rice the camera survived! However, I did have to purchase a new lens. Back when I lived in the states I would always have to cook away from my tent because of bears. The lack of wildlife here in the UK is a bit sad, but it is very convenient that I can cook in or around my tent and not worry about attracting any visitors. Really appreciate you watching and taking the time to comment.
@GoingSoloOutdoors thanks for the update on the camera, yikes camera lens is expensive. I thought I heard an American accent. The UK I've seen via this channel is beautiful! I noted there's only sheep, no wildlife.
The best part of your is camping cooking & the way you describe your camping experience is very helpful for new campers... Thats why i love to watch your videos...🥰😍👍
Really enjoyable video. Rafting, exploring the islands. The cooking. The fish looked amazing. Inspiring me to get out more with my kids. Definitely like to see more like this!
Glad you enjoyed it. It was really fun to get both a hike and a paddle in on this trip. I’ve been wanting to explore these islands for quite some time. You’ll definitely be seeing the packraft in future videos. Hope you’re having a nice weekend. ATB
Too kind! I was definitely pretty upset with what happened to my camera but I am glad the phone was still able to capture the camp. Such a beautiful spot! Really appreciate you taking the time to comment. Hope you have a great weekend!
Thanks! I was really excited I found this spot by the water. Listening to the sounds of the water against the shore was great. Really appreciate the comment.
Too kind man! It was nice to have a night beside the water. Pretty hard to beat falling asleep to that sound. Appreciate the comment and hope you have a nice weekend!
Thank you for sharing your wonderful adventure with us all Todd, first class as always.I really enjoyed the drone footage as I am a fan of that area, but never ventured on to the water myself. Credit again for keeping it real regarding the camera mishap, I do hope it survived. I have taken a look at your website, very interesting, especially as I myself am relatively new to wild camping. ATB 👍👊
This area was actually one of the first spots I ever camped in the Lake District. I always wanted to come back and camp on one of the islands. Glad I was finally able to 😀. I will pin a comment to the top regarding the camera at some point. I am a bit disappointed after seven days in the rice. At the bare minimum I will definitely have to get a new lens. Not sure what I’m going to do about the camera yet. Really appreciate you taking the time to look at the website. Hope you have a nice weekend! ATB
Thank you and welcome to my channel! I have two young kids at home and can only get out for a camp once or twice a month so when I can I'm very grateful 👍. Really appreciate you watching and taking the time to comment. Hope you have a nice week
Another great film, these are such a distraction away from the fast pace of modern life. Super relaxing. Your cooking is unreal. We are off camping this week and I have lined up some of your meals to cook. Your website recipes are such a great idea. We all hope the camera isn’t too badly damaged. We want to see you back out soon. Also the quality of your videos, footage, audio and also editing is great.
Really glad you find the videos relaxing 👍😀. I hope anyone who wants to try any of these meals finds the website useful. I just really need to work on getting more of the recipes written! Hopefully you enjoy what you’re planning on making. As for the camera. The lens is not longer working so that will need to be replaced. I was able to get the camera to turn on but I have it back in the rice hoping to draw more water out of the viewfinder as it’s not usable at the moment. Really appreciate you watching! ATB
It's one of the best videos yet although I like all your videos and now think I've caught up on them all and been following you for over a year this was definitely one of my favourites (apart from the camera) gutted for you
Happy to hear you liked it. I really enjoyed getting to spend some time on the water and hiking on this trip. The spot I found on the first island was pretty great also. The camera falling in was definitely unfortunate but after two weeks in the rice the camera was fine. So the only thing that needed to be replaced was the lens. Really appreciate your continued support 🙏😀.
@GoingSoloOutdoors great news about the camera 👍 you can't beat being out on the water I do the same in my kayak but never found anywhere as nice as your spot to pitch up hopefully soon though. me and about ten mates are going up to loch maree Scotland for a week in the kayaks end off September as you can't camp on the islands April to August because of nesting birds and watching this video has got me more buzzing for it 👍
Thanks! Aside from my main camera falling in the water this was a great spot and a really relaxing trip! Appreciate you watching and taking the time to comment. All the best
@@GoingSoloOutdoors I know right I didn't want to remind you of your camera. That would of truly spoilt my trip. Its healthy to have a mind set that we learn from these trials. But still damn!!
@@MartinRamsbottom-is2blafter two week in a bowl of rice the camera was fixed, which was great! I did have to replace the lens but far better than having to replace the camera 😅
@@GoingSoloOutdoors Glad the camera wasn't as bad as I first thought. I'm hoping to get out and do some camping the rest of the summer and maybe a little winter camping .. Its hard getting out because of my wifes illness but watching your videos they have given me back a huge drive for sleeping outdoors. I honestly just settled for thinking that part of my life had gone . I watched a few of your videos and its now crazy to think I'd actually given up on doing any more camping .. Thanks for the inspiration brother.. Once I get my new motorbike I'm heading for the Peak District, I'm literally only an hour away. Then next summer I'm hoping to camp my way around the coast and back..
A great video, beautifully shot, despite the mishap. Pretty impressed by that stove. Are you able to share the link to it? All the best for your future ventures.
Thanks! I don’t have a link but try searching for the Firebox Wood Flame Gas Stove. It’s pretty cool when you want to use it for a little campfire ambience 👍
What a beautiful camping spot, Mr. T! And that dinner...perfect! Would love to see more! Also, I'm sorry about your camera. Looking forward to another woodland camp! Any camp would be great! 😀
Recently found your channel via shorts and absolutely love your stuff. Making the fish and chips was next level! I felt your pain when the camera went under. Thanks for the quality content!
Welcome to the channel 😀. After the camera took a swim it was nice to have a good meal in such a pretty place. Took the sting away a little bit 😅. Really appreciate you watching a full video and taking the time to comment. Hope you have a nice week.
Second time watching your videos and I absolutely enjoy them! You have the best personality, even in bad storms!! Amazing! Keep it up, you'll do well. Be safe and God bless 🙏🤗❤️
I had the pleasure of watching your latest video yesterday evening. So many topics I could comment on. The superb location, the packraft, the mindless environmental vandalism, the camera that went for a swim and the sheer delight of your epicurean masterclass of preparing and cooking fish and chips.....I could go on ! Sir, I raise my flat cap to you. The complete all rounder. Quite simply superb. Thanks. Michael😊🏕🚣♂️
Really appreciate it Michael! It was a nice change of pace from my usual camps and I will definitely be back out on the packraft for another camp this summer. The camera is a bummer but if it can’t be fixed it will be replaced 😅. Hope you are having a great weekend. ATB
Absolutely brilliant, Todd! What an adventure! I also hope you managed to save your camera? But the phone footage was excellent (good old Apple!) so no worries there. Would I like to see more pack raft adventures? Yes please! what a fab little blow-up boat!
Thanks! I really enjoyed getting out on the water with the packraft so you will definitely be seeing it in future videos 👍. I can happily report that after two weeks of sitting in the rice the camera now appears to be fully functional. I did, however, have to replace the lens. Although I can tell the difference in the footage taken with the iPhone I have to admit it is definitely impressive the quality of video you can now get with just your phone! Really appreciate you watching, all the best 😀
@@GoingSoloOutdoors good to hear that, and yes, I didn't think the lens would've survived. Not all lenses are as weather sealed as you would expect. However a fixed focal length with a front element that doesn't protrude or rotate when focussing are mostly better at expelling water. But again not guaranteed at all if fully submerged.
Another banging video. The change from the excitement at fitting your tent into that awesome spot to the agony at the camera going in to the drink was soul crushing. Hope the camera was able to be repaired. Would enjoy more pack rafting content.
Thanks! I was ridiculously excited about fitting the tent into that spot 🤣. As you said, the mood unfortunately changed very quickly. I was gutted. It’s not looking great at the moment but I will give an update on the camera as soon as I decide what to do. I will definitely be taking the packraft out on another camp 👍😀. @@GoingSoloOutdoors very much! In fact, I am currently watching the one where you were camping with the Pomoly Dome X4 Pro, and cooking wings. Great camp!
Another winner! Hope the camera can be salvaged. What is your total pack weight with raft? Were there any mosquitos? Do you use DEET? I have squeezed tents into tight spots..unusual to find one that level..and the moss! Do you use Patreon for additional revenue? Sorry for all the questions, looking forward to your next offering!
Glad you liked it. It was a nice change of pace being on the water. The total weight with food and even camera the equipment (not my tripod and main camera which I carry in my hand) was 33lbs. We don’t really get mosquitoes here but in about a month the midges will be in this part of the country and they’re pretty brutal. I actually prefer mosquitoes to midges. Yes I’ve used deet in the past but only typically when it’s extremely bad and I’m not able to sit next to a fire. I’ve never really liked how it feels on the skin. I was definitely very excited to have found such a great spot next to the water. I don’t do Patreon. This is just a hobby for me and I only currently have time to make one or two videos a month. My family is definitely the priority at the moment. No reason to be sorry for any questions 👍😀. Really appreciate you continuing to watch. Hope you’re having a nice weekend. ATB

I don’t know how but you have somehow surpassed all your previous cooking with your fish and chips in this video. I’m running a gold DofE expedition on Dartmoor this week and I think I need to try a bit harder than eating just dehydrated meals. I’m wild camping for 3 nights but I can try to cook something.
Thank you! Nothing wrong with dehydrated meals but it can definitely be a lot of fun making a nice meal while camping in a pretty place. On this camp, the fish and chips really lifted my mood after the camera fell in the water 😅. Best of luck on your trip!
You my friend are simply superb. Watch all sort of camping/adventures none come anywhere close too yours. Also like everyone else hope the camera can be saved. Awesome content fella😊
Great stuff mate. Shame about the camera, hope it's okay now? Happened to me a while back with a Canon M50, fell over during the night and landed outside of the tarp - totally soaked but miraculously it survived along with an expensive lens - I did the old putting it in a bag of rice trick. Lovely spot, have stayed there myself and we got across on a dodgy inflatable Kayak which was interesting to say the least. ATB pal 👍
Such a beautiful part of the Lakes. Shame people have left that larger island in such disarray. Definitely not thrilled about the camera but I guess I’m just happy it’s lasted this long. We shall see if a second round in the rice helps the viewfinder of the camera at all. Making your way to these islands with a dodgy inflatable kayak sounds pretty fun actually 😂. Makes it feel more like a proper adventure. Appreciate the comment as always buddy. We still need to get out for a camp together at some point. Hope you and your kids are enjoying the long weekend so far. ATB
Another absolutely beautiful video. thank you for taking us on this journey with you! good luck with your camera. This year, my dream is to get out on my kayak and do some camping. can't wild camp much in Ohio, but I've found a small park area with some short river camping access that i plan on trying out. what a beautiful place, even with all of the garbage and fire pits... I will never understand people, but all we can do is be better. i also dont understand why they would ring the trees..... thats kinda wild.
Thank you for watching! It was really nice to get out on the packraft. There is something so peaceful about camping next to the water. Hope the park area works out and you can have a nice camp! You’re absolutely right. All we can do is hope for others to be better. Set a good example. I’m still a bit confused why so many trees would be ringed like that, but I don’t know enough about forest management to speculate. Really appreciate you taking the time to comment. Hope you’re having a nice long weekend 👍
I’m so happy you made peas too You cannot have a better fish and chips without peas and they don’t have to be mushy also if you lose a pea from your plate shout *ESCAPEA* (escapee) 😂

Part camping, part cookery channel. Love it. Onion vinegar for the win! Sadly, there's always those who think the Countryside Code doesn't apply to them. Can you imagine the countryside in the not-too-distant future with more people trying to improve their 'wellness'..?
Glad you like the mix of content. Such a nice spot for a meal. I actually haven’t come across a place that’s been in such disarray before. I just can’t understand why there would be so many fire pits that close to each other especially when they’re not even allowed. And leaving the rubbish is beyond me. I will never understand that. All we can do is help clean it up when we can and encourage others to do better. Really appreciate the comment. ATB
@@GoingSoloOutdoors I've seen a number of US channels where they go out picking up litter. There's always a small percentage of the population who think the rules don't apply, I'd hope those that want to go hiking mostly treat the countryside with respect. Time will tell, I guess. See Ruth Aisling's recent bothy stay...

I don't know what it is, but this is one of your best, hope the camera is ok, food looked delicious, really love how you are able to push the cooking experience while out on such an adventure, magical.
Glad you enjoyed the video! Definitely a great spot for a camp and a cook. The camera is a mixed bag. I took it out of the rice today. It turns on which is good but the view finder is still filled with moisture and isn’t usable and the lens no longer focuses. I put the camera back in the rice and I am now looking at getting another lens. Really appreciate you watching and taking the time to comment! Hope you have a nice weekend
Camp cooking on a completely different level. Makes rehydrated noodles look a bit sad. Great video as usual love your zest for life. Even when your pissed off your upbeat. Good luck with the camera hope its ok 🤞 Thanks for sharing. Take care.
Appreciate that but it’s just normal cooking with a bit smaller equipment 👍😀. And there is definitely nothing wrong with rehydrating a meal. I was probably a little less upbeat off camera after the camera took a dunk in the water. I was a bit in shock it actually happened. Really happy it didn’t seem like I was complaining too much though. Appreciate you watching! Hope you have a nice weekend. ATB

I don’t discuss gear all that much unless I’m asked or if I’m testing something new. Don’t want people to think I’m trying to sell them something. This boat is the Alpacka Pack Raft and my backpack in the Zpacks ArcHaul Zip 64L. You can find links to the gear I use on my website goingsolooutdoors.com. Hope that helps 👍
Another great outdoor trip. Beautiful lake, island and camping spot. Diner was amazing, as always. Fresh ingredients and well prepared. Got Pavloved again... I've done some kayaking but never combined with camping. Looks like a great combination. Seen some folks kayak the GGW but I'd rather do shorter trips on lakes than long canal stretches. Hopefully the camera survived. It's completely understandable to feel a bit gutted, if you might loose something that is simply dear to you. About the trash and burn spots, that's just ghastly. Saw some recent images of Loch Lomond shore on another YT channel. It was so bad, incredible. I'd understand and perhaps even appreciate hefty fines. Needs to be enforced though, otherwise just a symbolic measure. Or perhaps some 'Free to roam' hiking tourist tax for foreigners, if only to finance cleaning up the worst. I wouldn't mind.
Kayaking and camping is a fantastic combination that you should definitely try. I’ve done a lot of canoe camping in the past and I’ve always really enjoyed it so it was nice to be back on the water camping on this trip. A nice change of pace from just hiking in the mountains or woods. I honestly don’t know how to solve the trash problem. Thankfully I don’t see it that often but when I do it’s just really disappointing. I can happily report after two weeks in the rice the camera is working 😀👍. The lens needed to be replaced but very happy the camera could be saved. Thank you for such a thoughtful comment. Really appreciated! All the best. If you do manage to get out on a kayaking camp, let me know how it goes!
Really appreciate you watching another video. I will definitely be taking the packraft out on another camp! It was really fun getting out on the water. Hope you’re having a nice weekend!
Another fabulous video, it was so sad to see the mess other campers left behind. And equally sad why all those trees were ringed- no need for that slow death when they could have been felled efficiently avoiding fallen trees that would possibly damage other trees. That’s what makes me feel it was done maliciously. Very sad indeed. Loved your cooking demo and especially the pack rafting - more please! I was wondering is there a tent that is attached to a raft so you could if need be have a floating raft tent if wanted ?
Thanks! It was a shame to see the second island left in such a mess with so many fire pits. I don’t usually come across areas that are that bad. Also, not sure why so many trees would be ringed as well. They seem far enough apart that thinning wouldn’t be necessary but I don’t know enough about woodland maintenance to speculate too much. Glad you liked the packraft. I really enjoyed using it. I’ll definitely be bringing it on future camps. As for floating tent, I’m not too sure. I’ve never looked into something like that, but I don’t think I’m going to be buying any new camping gear for quite a while if I have to replace this camera 😅. Really appreciate the comment. Hope you’re having a nice weekend. ATB
Another excellent video, I like the packraft adventure! Nothing like exploring these little islands, so exciting. I do share your irritation about people not caring about LNT. Just came back from WHW (and yes, I know it’s an immense overcrowded and popular hike) and had many of the same annoyances. ‘Oh this looks like a nice place to shelter or setup camp’, littered of human sh*t. Verry annoying. Anyways, thanks for the nice video haha!
Thanks! I had a lot of fun getting out on the packraft so you will definitely be seeing it again in future videos. Shame people can’t just be a bit more decent. I can’t wrap my head around the laziness of people. It’s definitely no difficult just take out what you brought in and properly use the toilet in the backcountry. Really appreciate you watching. ATB
Well chuffed when I had the notification on a Friday! I hope you get your camera sorted Todd 🤞🏻. That meal was your best yet, brilliant! “The Wild Camping Naked Chef” 😂 You do have a thing for fires/flames just not the ones that leave a mess. I hope you have a lovely Bank Holiday weekend 👍🏻
A nice meal in a beautiful place 👍. The camera is a bit of a mixed bag at the moment. The lens is done. No longer focuses and still has water inside. The camera did turn on but the viewfinder is unusable as it still has water in it. So back into the rice. Won’t know if everything still works ok with just the LCD screen until I can get a new lens 🙄. A bit disappointed but hopefully I can still use it with after I get another. Hope you have a nice bank holiday weekend as well. All the best buddy!

Loved the video, what a pitch and the boat opens up a whole new world. What is the make of the inflatable? Also just a quick question. Are you sitting in the boat the wrong way around? Just thought the pointy end is the bow? Happy camping!
Having a raft I can easily hike with in between locations. Definitely opens up a lot of possibilities when camping and exploring new areas. This is the Alpacka Raft caribou. Yes, this is the correct way to sit in the boat 👍. That pointy end helps with the tracking of the boat and the bow is a bit lifted out of water so it can hold a lot of weight. It’s actually meant for either holding a bike or medium game animals when hunting. Really appreciate you watching and taking the time to comment. All the best.

Just a little question my friend loved the packraft just looking for info on make and size? Also where to purchase? Looks amazing and also looked really durable not the cheap junk you can get elsewhere. Thanks❤
This is the Alpacka Caribou Packraft. So far I am really loving it and it’s been very durable 👍. This model only comes in one size. Alpacka does make other raft models in different sizes though. I purchased it directly from their website. Appreciate you watching and taking the time to comment. ATB
Hey, how do you like the Nemo Tensor sleeping pad ? What mat/pad would you recommend for Extreme winter cold? I was looking at the Sea To Summit Ether Light XT Extreme, but yours has a better R rating. Thanks for the videos!!
I have really been enjoying the Tensor Extreme 👍. For winter I would recommend the Thermarest Neoair Xtherm, Nemo Tensor Extreme, or the Sea to Summit Ether Light XT Extreme. I don’t think you can go wrong with any of those choices. Personally I thinking the Nemo and Sea to Summit pads are a bit more comfortable but the Xtherm might be the warmest even though its R value isn’t quite as high as the Nemo. I don’t exactly trust the way R values are currently measured. So you can use it as a guide to how warm the pad should be but not as an absolute. There are definitely other factors that can influence how warm the pad will be. All of those are great pads though. Hope that helps! ATB
They make one specifically for packrafts. It is on its way. If it works well you will see it next time I use the packraft 👍. Appreciate you watching. ATB

This was an amazing journey. Thank you.

Love the pack raft adventures!
Glad to hear it! I really enjoy them as well. Can’t wait for my spring/summer packrafting trips 👍😀

@@BigfootBeerandGear glad you like the cooking portion. I always really enjoy cooking at camp and I love my trangia cooksets 👍
Your videos are honestly my favourite to watch and I always look forward to a new one. Always inspires me to get outdoors and explore. Thank you so much for making them 🏕️
Really nice to hear that. Just happy I was still able to capture the rest of the camp. Appreciate you watching. Hope you have a nice weekend! ATB
Really enjoyed this one. Normally watch for the wind, rain and snow but this was very relaxing. And the fish & chips was a complete triumph!
Glad to see you have a nice day of weather not pouring down rain
👍😀 nice to have a beautiful evening by the water!
Easily one of my favourite videos of yours. Amazing spot. Really really enjoyable video!
Glad you liked it! Such a nice spot for a camp. I was really happy I could squeeze the tent in 👍
Outstanding, a wonderful vicarious experience!
Glad you enjoyed it!
So refreshing to see someone who eschews the traditional pot noodles and tracker bars to make a fresh fish and chip supper from scratch!
For these single night camps I definitely enjoy making myself a nice supper. Adds to the experience 👍😀. Appreciate you watching!
@@GoingSoloOutdoors I absolutely love these. Just found your channel a couple of days ago and binge watching since! Enthralling!

You are THE BEST Camp Cook! I couldn’t prepare and cook fish like that in the kitchen at home! 😂 You make camp cooking look SO easy! My husband and I absolutely love your videos! @@GoingSoloOutdoorsYou too have a good one! 👍
I noted there's only sheep, no wildlife.
splendid spot!
I was really happy with this location 👍😀. Thanks for watching.

ATB
You are extremely inspirational! Not sure I could have kept that all together after what happened, and still pulled together a great video!
Too kind! I was definitely pretty upset with what happened to my camera but I am glad the phone was still able to capture the camp. Such a beautiful spot! Really appreciate you taking the time to comment. Hope you have a great weekend!
Another GREAT video. That camping spot and view from the tent was incredibly calming
Thanks! I was really excited I found this spot by the water. Listening to the sounds of the water against the shore was great. Really appreciate the comment.
The fish and chips looked epic! You make superb meals this was extra special for your location. Love it. 👌

@@GoingSoloOutdoors Thankyou my friend you too
Thank you for sharing your wonderful adventure with us all Todd, first class as always.I really enjoyed the drone footage as I am a fan of that area, but never ventured on to the water myself.
ATB

ATB

ATB

“The Wild Camping Naked Chef” 😂
You do have a thing for fires/flames just not the ones that leave a mess.
@@GoingSoloOutdoors gutted Todd. I’ll best honest though, the footage with your iPhone was just as good 👍🏻
It actually turned out better than I thought but it definitely took more work in the edit 👍
As always absolutely loved this video, just stunning!! I felt peaceful just watching it until the camera so sorry I hope you can save it! Please make more of the same really enjoy the pack raft videos! Everything you make I very much enjoy thanks for this beautiful one!
Really glad you liked it. I’d love to get back out with the packraft. It’s nice to be able to get a hike in and a bit of a paddle. Fun to see an area from a different perspective on the water as well. Thanks for the comment! Hope you have a good weekend 😀 ATB
@@GoingSoloOutdoors thanks for the answers, can't wait for episodes 2 and 3 😁
Great video as always, cheers for the entertainment. Do you have a link to that stove? Looks to be just what ive been looking for.
Thanks! Using it as a small fire is a pretty cool feature. I really like the heat diffuser as well 👍. fireboxstove.com/product/firebox-gas-burner-with-titanium-diffuser/
Well, I'm not jealous, not jealous at all....I'm so jealous.😁
😂 it was a pretty nice spot for a camp 👍. Appreciate you continuing to watch. Hope you have a great weekend! ATB
That fish and chips looked well nice, looking forward to trying that recipe; thanks for sharing.
What model raft is that btw? Would definitely like to see more rafting vids. Keep it up!
I was really happy with how the fish and chips turned out. Nice to have a good meal with a great view. This is the alpacka caribou. I will definitely be using it again in future videos! ATB
ATB
I wonder if you could use a Flextail pump for inflating the canoe?🤔
They make one specifically for packrafts. It is on its way. If it works well you will see it next time I use the packraft 👍. Appreciate you watching. ATB
Did you have any batter left over for the chips, that would have been lush.
I did have a bit leftover 👍. That would have been lush! Really appreciate you watching
