- For unknown reasons, the little girl was very sad and couldn't help crying on the stage. Even so, the little baby still completed her performance very well.

Teacher and dancer here. Yes, looking at all the children's behavior, it's clear to this eye that hours were spent rehearsing and drilling this routine into their heads.
It's common for children that age to forget the moves and look at the other students (or teachers at the foot of the stage).
This is different. This girl is in distress and seemingly carrying on not because it's fun, but out of either a sense of duty or fear of being punished. She knows the moves. The only time she looks to the side is when her headdress falls off and she notices it happened to the girl next to her. All other times, it's as if she has the impression that emotion doesn't matter as long as you perform your task correctly.

Thess kids are actually really smart for their age. The routine is a bit leveled up for their age, but they still remembered the steps, the positions, etc, even if there had been interruptions.
That just means every kid are just more than just kids they can be adults if u treated them one and with respect

@Cristina Sousa I’m an Asian with Asian parents, and I just wanted to mention that not all Asians are raised strictly with strict discipline. Some Asian parents let their kids do more than what white parents let their kids do, so it really annoys me when I see this stereotype.

Я недавно видела ,как горел автомобиль на дороге и на тротуаре толпа снимала это зрелище, выкладывала в интернет. Я врач,не имею права стоять в стороне. Хоть и не написано на лбу у меня ,кто я. Подошла ,спросила, есть ли люди внутри, вызвал ли кто скорую, полицию,пожарных. Все качали головой, мол ,не в курсе. Слова Богу, водитель уже успел выбраться из машины и убежать в сторону. Он сам вызвал скорую помощь.

You can really see the cultural differences in these reactions. Different cultures are split between praising her tenacity and cuteness vs being horrified no one is comforting her.
The question is why is she crying and why is she doing the performance. Kids love to please their parents. Even if it is harmful for them.
That's why I hope people raised in such a "culture" will not come in some great numbers to Europe. We have enough horrible parents right here, don't really need to import more. Especially if they would be calling it "just a different culture" and demanding respect for it.

I used to dance, model, and do public speaking back in elementary, and cried a lot on my first time.(especially modelling) But eventually, I would look back and say "Well...that was embarrassing, but pretty damn funny."

Don’t coddle her. In a sense the movements and routine of the dance are what grounded her. Sometimes children just get in a bad mood or can be temperamental. She knew what to do.

I've taught hundreds of Chinese, Taiwanese and Hong Kong students. Children feel a lot of pressure to perform at a very young age in many Asian countries. The school systems are structured to force children to compete and succeed. It's too much to handle emotionally for many kiddos.

For these kids to put up a very good dance performance, I'm sure they were made to practice a lot and in a very strictly manner.

As a kid I hated ppl singing happy bday to me. I cried and walked away, folded my arms and frowned. However, every year I had a party and every year they sang. I wasn't abused and it was a customary way to celebrate. I would rather have a party than not. Today I have to submit a professional headshot to my employer for a newsletter. Do I want to... HELL NO! Am I crying on the inside...HELL YES!! But I will do it.

Я сама себя помню, как будучи маленькой выступала, испугалась и расплакалась. Но выступление я закончила и потом уже пошла ко взрослым. Никакой дрессировки не было у меня, просто ответственный человек, берущий на себя обязательство, пусть и маленький. Это взросление, это нормально. Повышенная эмоциональность. Эта девочка растет ответственным человеком, учится преодолевать эмоции.
