And I’m just having the same reaction tasting some excellent bourbon tonight that I wasn’t able to appreciate last night…. I totally get it.

I was in a bar named Diller in Seattle and saw their high end Bourbons, they had PVW 20 and 23 and I saw the Michters which I thought was 10 from a distance(I was still a rookie in my bourbon tasting) I asked for a pour as well as a few other drinks. He noted it was only about a 1 finger pour and would charge me less. So I agreed and he made the other drinks and stated to ring them up. HE says WHOA, that rang up as $200 a shot, and I said whoops! I wasn't planning on paying $200 for it, and was unaware what I ordered. He said, don't worry about it, I will only charge you $15.....In my brain I said HOLYSHIT, tipped him well and went outside(during COVID) to enjoy my half shot....IT WAS AMAZING,AS YOU BOTH KNOW!!! CRAZY STORY HUH??? Hope he didn't lose his job.....Anyway, keep up the awesome videos Junkies!!! Jeff Scott Seattle

Does anyone know if these over-oaked old bourbons work well in a good cocktail? I'll never find out on my own so thought I'd ask. Seems a waste otherwise, if you don't like drinking it neat. But if you can craft a really good Manhattan with it, using high end vermouth and bitters, maybe a game changer?

Sounds fantastic. Would love to try it but pretty difficult to obtain a bottle without it being marked up significantly. As you stated i also would gladly buy it if a could get anywhere near retail.
I literally sipped this blind from someone else’s glass in February and loved it. It reminded me of an amazing Peerless pick that I have, but magnified a bit. I’d love to try it again knowing what it is so I could comprehend it a bit better. But....eloquent review gents 🤣🤣🤣

Usually I don't enjoy watching guys being pleasured, but in this instance it was very entertaining. I both loved and hated this review -- the pure joy shown by the guys as they obviously thoroughly enjoyed this small taste is awesome, but I am now so insanely envious of them having the opportunity. Eagle rare 17 (101 proof), WLW, and promise of hope are all up there. It would be hard to say top of the top, but those are all up for contention with this M20.
Even at $800 retail thats incredibly high priced. There's no other bourbon or scotch at 20 years old that costs that much! would still love to try it! wouldn't buy it!
I paid $500 for a pappy 15 one time (wouldn't again) but this is so far past that entire lineup of whiskeys it's insane. I'm about to finance my house against a bottle of this 😂

We use a Sony a7iii and use adobe premiere. TH-cam is a great way to learn the pros and cons of the different softwares.

I just had M10 and it was the low point of the night. Is M20 the same mash bill? M10Rye on the other hand was fire!!
Would assume they are the same, m20 is around 400x better than m10 though
Thinking mitchers is supposedly one of the only bourbon makers using low barrel proof entry still and may make aging better and gentler for them

Never had this pour, the closest is the Pappy 20yo which is my favourite pour of all time.
