The only thing Lakeland has over winter Haven is a Target and lovebird chicken 🐔. Both are pretty amazing for anyone 30+

Nice video. Good analysis. Which one is more attractive to retirees. Hospitals? 55 and over. Percentage of seniors.

Thanks for watching! As prefaced in the video, I am slightly biased, but I believe Lakeland wins here as well. Lakeland Regional Health has campuses all across the city as does, Advent, Watson and several other primary care and specialists. There are a wider range of 55+ communities in Lakeland from lot rent mobile parks, to luxury custom built homes. Where Winter Haven wins is in condos. If you are looking for a 55+ condo with maintenance free living, Winter Haven would be where I would steer you.

Hi Dennis, thanks for watching! Yes Winter Haven is right next to Lakeland (to it’s East). Population is a significant difference but the two cities have quite different personalities when it comes to amenities. Both are great cities but ultimately come down to your priorities
