I'm moving to South Lakeland soon. Got tired of the traffic, HOA, the attitude of the people & the crime around Ft. Lauderdale. Just bought 4 acres land close to the airport. I've been watching TH-cam videos about what Lakeland have and so far I'm loving it. No traffic, quiet area and lots of land to create my own little world with my pets.
My wife and I have been following you for awhile. Not that you need to hear it from me, but KEEP GOING SIR! You all are killing it, and it is so awesome to see the magic of Lakeland being represented this way.
I really do appreciate it man. It honestly makes me want to push more. Love to hear from long time followers. I’m hoping to see more of you both in the comments 💪🏽
I’m a 23 year North Lakeland resident. I agree with you! While my neighborhood was a wonderful and quiet place to live when I purchased 23 years ago…now it’s not so great. I wish I lived on the south side of Lakeland.
I'm looking to move to Lakeland from Cape Coral. One reason is to be closer to aviation and EAA. As a veteran, Sun n FUN is a great event to get the younger generation interested in flying.
Looks like a great city to raise a family. Lots of activities, shopping, restaurants😍 I will definitely be visiting the air museum, thanks for the tour !
I've never commented on one of your videos, but I've watched almost all of them, and I must say you are getting better and better. Amazing video!! Made me want to move to Florida today
I really appreciate that Gerald. You can’t be a stranger to the comment section anymore lol we will be looking for your input. Also we will keep a spot for you down here for when the time it right!
Great video and great information Clay. May I also suggest to those people who are considering moving to or living in SOuth Lakeland (*Which you did an amazing job of pointing out in your video) that they can also drive a little further South on Florida Avenue and come to the great small city of Mulberry which is growing and has homes for everyone's price range.
I live in Maine thinking to move to Florida. I heard of the citrus connection is bus route more in the south Lakeland or north? Looking for place to retire with public transportation. Lankeland seems to be good option
Funny that you mention. It was an accident when I was young. Head butted my oldest brother and put him to sleep… accidentally of course. Now when my bump it reminds me of bonding with my brother. Proud bump
I grew up in Lakeland. Graduated from LHS in 99 . Since then, I've lived in Tampa. Orlando, Miami, and Fort Lauderdale. I must admit Lakeland is a peaceful place. The most peaceful place that I've ever lived. But there are tradeoffs. It's also pretty boring there compared to other parts of Florida. I prefer living here in Fort Lauderdale even though the cost of living sucks. If I had the $$ and could afford a 2nd home, I would definitely buy a home in South Lakeland to use when I want to get away from it all.
I am looking to move to Lakeland summer time, I have. Friend that lives in North Lakeland, but my concern are the schools. My kids currently attend private school here in Ohio and I want to make sure I can get them in a good school out there. I checked school gradings out there, but is also good to get personal opinions. Any suggestions? I am okay with public schools as well. I am originally from Orlando.
For sure. It’s a know gated community with nice amenities and newer homes. Email me with any questions and we will get it answered for you team@morefla.com
It seems like the toll road that services south lakeland is very expensive. That's one drawback. Just getting to Polytech every day would be expensive for example.
We are moving here in a week looking for 2 to 3 bedroom to least own seasonal rent or rent to own. I’m a disabled veteran retired 51 have a wife and son looking for some more to raise my granddaughter also.
Thank you so much. We are going to drive down and someone from va office is going to show me around Im even looking for seasonal rental to. But please hit me up if you see something thank you for reaching out
I just graduated tv broadcasting and radio with digital media editing last summer @ 51 once I’m down there I would be glad to help you on a few projects for free. I’m just building a portfolio up and build a veterans podcast channel.
Tks we have been here a week. We found a extended a stay that rents for minimum of 3 months for $1100 a month. I’m looking for something around $100k and my Va loan.
I post a video every day on my real estate channel ⬇ 🏠

North Lakelander here…I love South Lakeland too! I wish I could have a redo of my 23-year-ago N Lakeland purchase and buy on the Southside. 😉
Hey Christian!
Haven't seen you since Just Move. Glad to see you're doing well.

Who are the builders? Great video by the way! You may be hearing from me in 12-24 months lol. I think I’m dead set on Lakeland now.
You should take a trip down and check it out. There are a few great local builders. Saddler, Highland homes, southern hospitality.. to name a few
Amazing place
Agreed!
Seems like an awesome place to live in
It’s a great place to live!
Does the custom builder you mentioned have a website? And how big are the lots you can get in South Lakeland?
Yes sir! Send me an email or text if you can and I can get all of that over to you.

one of many great places!
I live in Maine thinking to move to Florida. I heard of the citrus connection is bus route more in the south Lakeland or north? Looking for place to retire with public transportation. Lankeland seems to be good option
The citrus connection is best for central Lakeland but you have routes in both North and South.
So how much is the last home with the pool costs? Need to have an idea of luxury home prices there.
That particular home was about 1.1m
Thanks
@5:46 I see a lump on your head, did you accidentally bump into the plane wing?
Funny that you mention. It was an accident when I was young. Head butted my oldest brother and put him to sleep… accidentally of course. Now when my bump it reminds me of bonding with my brother. Proud bump
