Years ago, probably 10 yrs or more, when I was just learning to to tan hides. I ran across some taxidermy videos of a young girl (Im 72) stuffing squirrels from road kills maybe some huntinh. It seemed she was in the Carolinas somewhere, was that you? If so, boy have you come a long way in your skills. Now as soon as it quits raining in a few days, i will thaw and flesh a deer hide, then it will be my first Bark Tanned Hide. Excited about how it will turn out as leather. Maybe i will tan the next 60 pound beaver i catch and try mounting a bark tanned beaver. From what i have seen of hair-on bark tanned hides, the hide holds hair better than Alum-Salt tanning, and the hide gets thicker with bark. So if that little cute squirrel stuffer was you, glad i found you again.
Ignore the trolls, no matter what or how you do anything they will be nasty in their comments. Mostly because they are unhappy unskilled pathetic people. You do great videos, don't change anything.
I like what you said about other taxidermists comments! 😂 I’ve seen other’s work. I don’t like their crossed eyed goofy cats. Keep up the good work. I love it.
In one of your videos, where are you showing your tanning methods, you were talking about cleaning blood from the Hyde before you put it in the pickle bath. I do have a question because it does change the pH level, but can you use peroxide to help remove the blood? by the way, I like your TH-cam channel, I don’t do taxidermy I have stuffed some things I have tanned, rabbit hide, I have tanned, more snake hides than you can shake a stick at. Your information is helpful and it’s nice that you actually show what you’re talking about. Definitely appreciate. Thank you very much and keep up the good work. We got to be with you and bless you.
Your final statement about people attacking your instruction, this is a sign you are touching some hot spots. Most people react with rejection when you show them the error of their ways. When they react and comment, you know you have offended their ignorance. Be careful as this trail turns you into a public figure and that can make life difficult.
Ignore the haters! You’re helping people! 🤜🏼

Thank you very much!! I started a business this year! I have had some struggles and have found your videos very informative and helpful.
Amy you are amazing ! Question do you know how to get blood shot out of your pelts ?
Good information and looks great as expected from you.
This cat looks like it was tanned and finished with kicking grease and drummed with birch hardwood sawdust
I don’t care for the feel, but I’ll be shampooing it good before I work on it
Great text.I am a trapper and learning what a taxidermist wants thx.
