Literally the best teacher online! I’ve learned so much from Greg and believe me I’m watching everything there is to watch about nails. So sad you don’t deliver your products to Europe 🙌🏼
I can't tell you how much I appreciate all of the YN videos! I love that I have these to help me practice at home until the pandemic gets under control, and I can go to school. Thank you!
You are amazing! So many tips and tricks that are so helpful, and not just for beginners either. You share information that has taken me years to figure out (through trial and error)! Thank you for always sharing and teaching the proper ways💅🏻🤩
I love dip acrylic and will definitely try the tip you gave for the 4th nail!! I also tend to get too much at the cuticle area and spend way too much time filing and fixing!! You guys rock!!
I'm in Alabama, and back at work. I'm a 30 year veteran. Lost several of my clientele during shut down. Had to market myself out there for the first time. I have added Slickpour to my services. Love marketing the fact that you dont dip in the powder. The Caption Conversion makes it so easy!! That's what sold me!!
I enjoy watching Youngnails. U must say I was following and I confined myself to Nailhub I across Greg and his brother and Wowwww they keep me laughing and at the same time learning.. I cannot wait to use their products..
. 👍👍👍👍👍👍 Thank You Gregg. You are Absolutely Amazing & Wonderful. I truly appreciate you & everyone at Young Nails for everything you have taught me with these Videos.
Ok, I don't know how I missed this conversion for slick pour! Does this mean Conversion replaces the multiple liquids for the dip type application? Will you have any slick pour kits that include the conversion base and top? Nice!
So glad I stumbled upon your posts. I am a do my own nails every week just because I can girl. I, or actually u-tube, thought me all I know and you help me see what I can do better. Your tips is so helpful and eye opening. Thanks a million.
Thanks Gregg for ll the really great techniques! The techniques you showed make for a flawless application of gel polish....I'm going to start using these techniques right away! And thank you for the heads up on the shipping! So thankful for good communication!
You guys are doing an awesome job with shipping. My kit was delivered in 7 days. I was expecting a longer delay but I'm happy that it was time efficient.
I must say , you take very well care of your own nails and it’s nice to see that you do. I’ve seen some nail techs with the most poor conditioned nails. Thank you for your videos , they are so educational. Each video I learn new stuff . I’m going to have a bad head ache my brain can’t keep up lol
super helpful. Had to come and watch how to use slick pour since it was in the mystery box. I love that i dont have to use resin with it. i stopped using dip powders because the smell of resin gave me migraines and a bad case of dip flu everytime i used it
You are an amazing nail artist. I have been a licensed nail tech since 1999 and never worked in the industry because I learned literally nothing on the practical side. After watching you for years, I have learned so much and hope I may enter the industry to make some money.
THANK YOU!!! I have been struggling with conversion & dark dip powders for 3 years. I called but was advised to cure two mins instead of one. As you just said, that doesn’t work. Never dreamed of doing it this way but I am trying it out today! Your eagerness to help with education & techniques is why I will ALWAYS carry Young Nails products in my salon. Thanks again!!
thanks for the video, I took advantage of the sale at thanksgiving and bought all the mystery kits where I got the maniq polish and the slick pour, it has literally been sitting and I didn't know what to do with it. Now I wish I had bought more slick pour when you had the big sale on all the colors. I can now practice using this stuff that I never would have otherwise purchased. That's what I love about the mystery kits, it's cheap enough to try products you would not ordinarily try. I love having other options to choose from and appreciate all the training that you provide, that is why I purchase Young Nails products, cause you train!
Oh thank you so much for trying our products!! You can do so much with SlickPour use it as a powder coat, with monomer, etc, definitely give a try! So many colors available too!
I’d love a step by step list on the slick pour portion of this video, is that possible? I LOVE this video, this is the first time I’ve watch a video multiple times in a row.
Thank you so much for the awesome tips! BTW I got my products yesterday and I am super happy. I just love your products! I got my Lil-sis hooked too! #teamYN you guys Rock!👍👍👍👍👍
Hi Greg thank you so much for this video it is so helpful. could you please show us how to remove the product. what do you recommend the best way to remove gel polish and slickpour. I dont really know what to do once i remove color and i have clear. Thank u
Omgee ty Greg for explaining this slick pour system 👀😍 this is definitely something I see me being able to achieve ty so much 😍💅 I just made an account so I'm getting this ASAP 😉🤗
I just ordered some items from you guys I think you guys are the best I hope to have more interactions with you all and when will you guys be having the OWC again I’m looking forward to coming but I must plan accordingly how will we know when you guys have a class
Thank you Greg you're the best teacher! I would like to ask a question if possible. Is there an expire date for acrylic powders like polish gels? Thanks again ! 😘
Can you fill the slick pour if using the same color, or is it necessary to remove all color and reapply with each service? Thanks and crushing it as always!
Hi Greg. I love the slick pour system but I have trouble with glitters application. Would using the same technique of the powder coat help? I feel like I can’t get full coverage with them. I want to thank you for putting up this tutorial.
To remove product, we typically use our coarse safety bit. Using an arbor band to remove all of your gel polish can take a long time and can also create heat on the nail as people tend to use more pressure since it takes longer to get the color off.
If you are wanting to use the Slick Pour with gel polish, we recommend using the Conversion Base with the powders and then your gel polish color over the finished nail.
Hi Greg, love your tutorials...I have a question. Client comes in for a re-polish in 2-3 weeks. I have slick pour then the gel polish on top. She would like a different colour. I remove the polish do I need to apply another layer of slick pour then gel polish? Can you do a tutorial on this or is there one already and I just haven’t seen it. Thanks for all you do!
Wow! Thanks, this is great, this is one of those videos that I will watch over & over, so informative! Hey, is there rose petals in your cuticle oil???? My cuticle oil doesn't have any rose petals 😢
I'm VERY interested in your products so I plan on placing an order soon. Q: can "slick pour" be used with monomer as an acrylic enhancement? (i understand that it must be used w/tips to do an enhancement vs sculpting on a nail form BUT unsure if i can use it w/monomer OR it can only be used in the manner shown in this video)
I love the slickpour method, however I have a problem with it. I have an allergy to TPO (nickel allergy), So I can use your conversion base but not your top, having checked the SDS. Please would you consider making a soft gel topcoat without TPO in it? I assume I can't use 'gloss' to topcoat this as it's hard gel?
Hi, thank you so much for all the videos, I have learnt so much. Whilst I am building up my slickpour collection, would I be able to use up my other dip powder from other brands with the caption conversion base? I had bought a few before discovering slickpour and would rather use them up than waste them. Thanks so much I am binge watching everything! :)
Thank you so much taking the time to make this video and really going into detail showing and explaining your process to create the perfect nail!! This is why yn is the BEST!!!! I really enjoyed this tutorial!! I have one quick question.. When will you be getting the mission control gel paint kits in stock again? I’ve been trying to swoop the kit since the tutorial on them and no luck....yet😉 I just placed an order last week for some awesome stuff and I am so so so excited to get them!!! Keep up the fabulous work guys!!
So glad you liked it more tutorials to come! Thank you for trying our products! They should be available now on our site: www.youngnails.com/mission-control-gel-paint-kit/
If you use the e-file to take off the color layer down to the base, should we assume that you already know how to “shape” with the e-file? To elaborate, when you e-file down the color, the surface with the base will be uneven... would you just leave the surface as is and simply rebuild on top of the base or would you shape the base with a buffer, fill in the growth, and then rebuild/repolish/repour?
Literally the best teacher online! I’ve learned so much from Greg and believe me I’m watching everything there is to watch about nails. So sad you don’t deliver your products to Europe 🙌🏼

I loved this !!!thank you🤗💅
If it isn't a dark color, should you cure the base conversion before pouring still?
Omgee ty Greg for explaining this slick pour system 👀😍 this is definitely something I see me being able to achieve ty so much 😍💅 I just made an account so I'm getting this ASAP 😉🤗
You are so welcome, Awesome let us know if you have any questions!!

Fantastic tutorial! Thank you.
Another great tutorial!!!
Glad you liked it!
Thank you again for sharing your knowledge ❣
You are so welcome
Would I be able to use regular nail polish with the system you just showed us with the conversion and slick pour instead of gel polish?
I am transitioning to your YN line, but have many SNS dip powders. Is there a way I can integrate some of them with your system so I can use them up?
Thank you Greg you're the best teacher! I would like to ask a question if possible. Is there an expire date for acrylic powders like polish gels? Thanks again ! 😘
Yes you will see it on the back of the bottles
Thanks for the tip-of doing two fingers at a time.
I need that hat Habib. ❤️ as always your the master Greg 💪🏽
Thank you for the informative video! Can you do a fill with dip gel ? Or do we have to take it all down and start over every time?
th-cam.com/video/kg9gtgTst54/w-d-xo.html
Can you fill the slick pour if using the same color, or is it necessary to remove all color and reapply with each service? Thanks and crushing it as always!
Great video!!
Glad you enjoyed it
Great video. Thank you.
I have a couple of slick pours and they don’t look like the one in the video I kinda like how these look is this an old jars ?
Yes this is our old logo.
Hi Greg. I love the slick pour system but I have trouble with glitters application. Would using the same technique of the powder coat help? I feel like I can’t get full coverage with them. I want to thank you for putting up this tutorial.
Do you use a medium sanding band to file off?
To remove product, we typically use our coarse safety bit.
Using an arbor band to remove all of your gel polish can take a long time and can also create heat on the nail as people tend to use more pressure since it takes longer to get the color off.
Could you do a layer or gel polish and put the clear slick pour and then cure. All in one step, or not the same as using it as a base.
On my bucket list is to have Greg do my difficult nails, I'm the lady with Raynauds Syndrome, lol
I appreciate you guys so must 💟
❤️💖
Wow! Thanks, this is great, this is one of those videos that I will watch over & over, so informative!
Hey, is there rose petals in your cuticle oil???? My cuticle oil doesn't have any rose petals 😢
can I use the finish top coat to sprinkle the slick pour on top of your core acrylic?
OMG THIS IS SICK LOVE IT
I'm VERY interested in your products so I plan on placing an order soon.
Q: can "slick pour" be used with monomer as an acrylic enhancement? (i understand that it must be used w/tips to do an enhancement vs sculpting on a nail form BUT unsure if i can use it w/monomer OR it can only be used in the manner shown in this video)
Yes you can definitely use our SlickPour line with monomer!
If you are building the nail with the Conversion Base and the powder, it should be sturdy enough to hold with the Gloss gel as your top coat.
So if you use a gel base and cure it you dont need activator?
Hi, thank you so much for all the videos, I have learnt so much. Whilst I am building up my slickpour collection, would I be able to use up my other dip powder from other brands with the caption conversion base? I had bought a few before discovering slickpour and would rather use them up than waste them. Thanks so much I am binge watching everything! :)
How do you keep the nails in the hand so you can work on it the way you do? Do you glue it on or how do you get the nail to stay?
What kind of light do you use, to see, while you work? I'm always worried that product will cure with certain light bulbs.
Totally amazing 🥰
❤️💖
Is this as strong as using slick pour #2?
Using slickpour with the conversion base and top is a little more flexible than using it with the resin method.
Can you use under the radar instead of clear acrylic powder to do sweater nail designs?
Yes you can.
Awesome
I need that class lol
What is the name of the blue slick pour color? Im not sure if i keep missing it when i watch the video 🤔
It is Sports Fanatic.
www.youngnails.com/products/15g-sports-fanatic
I noticed you didn’t use an “activator”. Did you use the protein bond instead of an activator, or is there no activator required for the slickpour?
With our conversion method, you do not need an activator.
