    Applied it 7 months ago, cured for 60 minutes (yes 60 minutes) and not a single piece has gotten loose... it's still ON there, no spiderwebbing or whatever.
    Of course some light scratches from using the phone but yeah it's on the protector so it's doing its job... awesome for the price!!

    Mowei one of cleanest screen protectors. It looks like it doesnt exists on phone. No leaks in charging ports or microphone because they provide tapes to cover it amd looks perfectly protected. Only problem wat can be with this product is some cases won't be compatible with scr. protector they too close each others and posibility for poping up screen. Im using Ringke Fusion case and i had to trimm little bit corners on case and now work flawlessly

    I got the IMBZBK kit, which is very similar. Both made in China. I'd go so far as to think some of the pieces may be made in the same factory. My installation went fine, 100%. There are some differences though:
    1) They did not include the sticker for the bottom ports. I think this is the main deficiency, compared to your kit. I used some cellophane tape, but your kit's ready-made stickers would have been better.
    2) The glue bottles were a little different (no extra tab to break), but it worked fine.
    3) The IMBZBK kit does not instruct to make two bubbles. I would instruct people NOT to be obsessive about getting every little drip out of the bottle. I see you got a lot of excess around the edges, and some people using the IMBZBK did did as well. There is no reason to manipulate the bubbles, the weight of the protector will even it out.
    4) Also be very careful when putting the little weight down, I think this may be causing more glue to leak out that necessary. Put it down **veeeeeeeery** gently. In your video, you kinda plopped it down. Frankly, if I see the liquid getting coverage everywhere, I might just skip this step? Not sure.
    5) The IMBZBK does note have a cut-out for the front-facing camera. I don't know if this is good or bad. It's functioning fine, as far as I can tell.
    6) DO not remove the phone from the holder until you've cured it several times with the light. I have no idea why you removed it after only one cure and continued... you're causing even more liquid to seep out. You can keep the phone in the plastic caddy thing as long as you need to, I let the light cover the entire phone several times before removing.
    Yeah, man... as I watch, it seems like you have SO much excessive glue. It got worse when you nudged the screen... I'd try to get as even a surface as possible, and remove the wedge thing as slowly as possible, so as not to require that much movement during application.

    • @mercster
      @mercster ปีที่แล้ว +1

      One other difference that might matter: the IMBZBK's plastic caddy/holder thing has an integrated bubble level, which allows you to make sure you're doing the application on the most level purpose possible. If I had to guess, a) uneven surface and b) being too fast/careless with weight is what's causing all these leaks. I'd be freaking out! BTW I am not affiliated with either company, I think both kits can get the same job done, I'm just trying to give hints for people going forward.

I'll add that my Samsung 9 has liquid glass protector along with a case for it. Over the years I dropped it many times not one break not one scratch well worth the extra money guys

  • @KCnLex
    @KCnLex 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    NOTE: My instructions say 45 seconds cure with the weight and then 5 MINUTES without weight before removing it from the case. Then 45 minutes per second. It also suggested that you should stir the glue circles to remove any little bubbles. I didn't see any so i skipped it, but as I had bubbles on the last time I tried it may be a good idea. I like this companies product but they send you only TWO glue tubes and 4 screens. I had to get an entire new kit because my first one only had 1 glue tube left after I accidentally touched the phone and all the glue fell off before the screen went on. The second glue worked but then less than a year later it broke and both the protector and the screen broke even though it was in a heavy duty case. Because I had no remaining glue I had to purchase a new kit and that one only had one glue tube, the other was bone dry. Because I had bubbles I emailed the company per their instructions and they sent me out a completely new kit. I just put the first one on and so far successful. I wish there was a way to just get the glue because at this point I have so many screen protectors but only one glue. It seems silly that I have 3 curing lights, 3 cases and 3 metal bases when all I really needed was one tiny glue stick! I did have to redo my fingerprints but not a big deal. I really like the companies products, it just takes a bit of practice to get it right. YOur video and the one supplied on the Amazon listing were instrumental in my sucess, so Thank YOU!

    I've always wanted to install one of these but I have installed more than enough screen protectors to know how difficult it can be to not get dust between the screen and the protector no matter how careful you are, and given how long and involved the process of installing one of these can be, there's no way I can rest assured I am not gonna get at least one spec of dust underneath it and I just cannot handle it. I really can't live with having the smallest spec of dust under the protector.

      @@teste-yh5df You know what worked flawlessly for me time and time again ? Not the bathroom tip. Opening windows in the house in a way that there's an airflow. I know it sounds not very logical but I have found that stagnant air made the dust bits always fall on my screen which makes perfect sense, as the screens are static, but the chances of dust falling on my screen have always been SEVERELY mitigated by opening windows. Seriously. Try it.
