All these singers come from the school of Daryl Coley, Stevie Wonder, Charlie Wilson and James Moore. Everyone else can just go home. Can't compare the master to the students. Btw, Tank needs to enunciate.
You talking about G.O.A.T.s WHERE THE BLANKETY BLANK IS R KELLY, CHRIS BROWN, JUSTIN BIEBER, & BRIAN MCKNIGHT??!!! BRIAN MCKNIGHT &...BRIAN MCKNIGHT!!!

Avery Wilson really knows how to do great melisma, riffs and runs and it really shows how best and incomparable he really is among others but all of them are best !!!!
They problem is with males with all the falsetto, head singing is they all start to sound just alike. Doing almost the same riffs, and runs. The only one that stand out mostly is Daryl Coley, Luke James, Charlie Wilson
Thank you...and everybody doing the decending scale gets boring after awile... none the less these mofos know they can blow...but riffing and running to belong to the queens Karen clark, Rochelle Farrell, and definitely ms. Kim Burrell
With respect to the singers with incredible tone , I can't stand over singers. After awhile you get lost and forget what the song was about. Emotions can be displayed without the aggravating over singing of beautiful songs
I agree 100% The thing that always put singers like Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey above many other artist is those 3 women possess a level of musicality that is not oftentimes understood. Just because a voice can do riff, runs, melismas, trills and other vocal acrobatics doesn't mean you should always do them. You need to know how to finesse a piece of music, how to sing with the song and make your voice an accompanying instrument to express not just the lyrical content but the emotive feeling of the body of work you are performing or recording. Many of the men in this video are incredibly talented but for what they possess in terms of vocal control and ear for tune and pitch they lack an basic understanding of music and how to make a good piece of music sound good to a listener. I cannot enjoy the performances by artists like these and many others equally talented singers because they are too busy trying to impress me with their vocal acrobatics while I'm busy trying to be impressed bu an amazing vocal performance as an element to an overall piece of music
I agree. Give credit where credit is due. And everyone has implemented and formed their unique style from someone else pattern. Nothing is totally unique.
My 😍 Daryl Coley ,,Donny Hathaway ,tevin Campbell ,David holister , Stokley Williams of Mint condition.. the guy Terrell that started in Tyler perry plays
Stevie because most learned it from him and he was doing it longer than most on this list and then Darryl Coley. Coley had Gospel on lock and Stevie for R&B. B. Slade has been passed the torch he was dope every since his first apollo appearance.
Oh my What?? That sweet boy at the end. Wow. Tonex nuff said. Darryl Coley. My head is spinning and im completely Woooooed by every voice. Great choice invoices for this video. Next time do Not leave out Eric Benet.
Daryl, James, Tonex, Charlie, Tank, Terrell, and Smokie sounds so individually unique. I like when someone can sing good through the entire song and not just in the special parts. I also like when a singer rather it's a female or Male can sing full voice. Holding notes would be great here and there as well. Lol. It is called singing where notes will be held occasionally. Great video!! Keep them coming!!
Avery Wilson is outstanding...wish there was more of him, this little clip didn't do him justice...altho thanks fir this i love discovering new people (to me)
PRECISELY!!! Daryl is GOAT when it comes to high-strung tenors and he deserves way more recognition! Many of the other male singers on here are simply taking a page from his book tbh. Smokie is great live as well, he is kind of holding down the fort if you will. Tonex/B. Slade has several people he influenced from listening to this...some of the runs all started to sound the same...no shade to anyone they are all talented...
Tae Novah, whoaa...he tried it! Sounded like Brandy in a much higher key or Tevin Campbell as a kid if he did more runs, lmbo...lil boy a beast...good choices.

But I've got time and I'm extremely present to address any dissenting arguments 🤷🏿♂️
Daryl Coley and Smokie Norful do it for me! But how can you leave out Durand Bernarr and Zacardi Cortez! Their riffs and run are so sick it's sickening 😂
If you really want 4o hear a brother that's the king of riffs and runs ( aside from Daryl Coley) then add Russell White to the top of the list!! He's on youtube and sings Gospel. Trust me you wont be disappointed!!
Tonex/B Slade is a beast. Darell Coley is no joke. Stevie Wonder seems like he never lost his range. People forget that Brian McKnight can kill it too. Never heard of Avery Wilson but he's got pipes. Luke James is one of my favorite of the newer guys.
