Damn! We just spent 5 nights there in the resort tower last month. I loved it so much. This room has not been renovated like the others. I do recommend the Resort (tower) rooms. Apparently staying in the Jubilee tower is a bad idea right now. Our room had new furniture. New, bigger TV. The bathroom was very nice. Loved the shower. We'll definitely stay in the resort tower again the next time we're in town for a convention at the convention center, since there's easy access to the Monorail. And it's an easy walk from the Resort tower over to Ellis Island. I don't know about the fragrance. Covid wiped out the majority of my smell in 2021. My wife is sensitive to smells and she doesn't recall a bad fragrance. But they may have started that after we were there.
In 20/20 hindsight, it's now clear why the Horseshoe's Jubilee Tower is so rundown after learning it's being it was recently taken over by the Paris Hotel and will likely be renovated to match the Paris motif. But obviously the poor gent didn't know this at the time.

resort tower gone down.. the weed smokers smoke so much by the exit where uber is, that they spray that horse piss spray 10 times heavier at that end.. it was horrible!
I was there in Jan. The other Tower room was really nice. Very clean. I would stay there again in a minute. I can’t believe this room looked like that.
Wow, I’m very surprised. I stayed at the Horseshoe/Ballys many times due to its great location. The rooms were always good not great but never in that condition.

I actually stayed in the Jubilee tower for the WSOP last year - I didn't mind it, and it wasn't nearly as bad as yours, plus it had an incredible view of the Fake Eiffel Tower and Bellagio fountains, but it clearly needed a lot of work (and cleaning - why does it seem like no housekeepers in Vegas dust anything?). Smoky casino, weird shopping area and "food court"/"entertainment" area - and staff that were more unhelpful than helpful - slapping a new name on Bally's isn't going to make that hotel better.
Each one of your complaints isn't a big deal on it's own but pile them up and yeah that room needs some attention. We still like the Horseshoe for it's location and fridge in every room. I guess we look past scratches and dents but have never seen a huge section of wallpaper peeled off in the hallway, that needs attention for sure. Remember, with upgrades and updates comes higher room rates. I should add that we usually stay in Executive Suite rooms that don't seem to be quite as run down as this one was, especially the desk chair that has probably disintegrated from cleaning product and use. We were there February 20 - 22, 2023 and noticed no smell in the casino at all other than cigarettes of course, is the fragrance that new of a thing?
Hi Danny - I have always stayed in renovated rooms there. They were always immaculate and nothing was run down. I will be staying there in November and am looking forward to a wonderful stay, as always. I highly recommend it to anyone. The key is ask for a renovated room.

I have several videos "Ballys" rooms and suites in my vegas playlist. Been staying there over a decade, never had such a bad room as this one here. In the future, if I stay in horseshoe again, I will make a video of whatever room they assign me then, which I dont have any control over as they give me whatever they happen to give me, sure I can ask, but ultimately they give me what they give me... thank you for watching.

Sorry about that experience, Mr Danny. Maybe a bunch of kids trashed the halls n rooms while they were there, and they tried to make it look livable again. I would check the bed thoroughly for any critters. Thanks for the tip for those that are planning to visit Vegas. 😒

Stayed in the resort tower in August it was clean and decent for a Budget hotel it had a really nice bathroom to me and the shower u current, I truly had no complaints for the price.

How much was the room per night? If its not expensive compared to other casinos you probably get what you paid for. Theres a market for low end cheap hotels and people dont mind the little stuff as long as they spend less.
That room was atrocious. Regardless if it’s scheduled for renovations it should never have been assigned to a guest . Other than Caesars Palace and Paris I don’t care for any of the other Caesars properties. I’ll stick with Bellagio and Aria. Sorry you had such a bad experience 😎😎😎

Back in November, I was in a Two Queen Suite on the 66th floor. The room was okay but was also half finished. There was a corner nook with two random chairs and the computer desk had a broken lamp and no electrical connections and no chair. The rest of the room was decent though. Like I said, I really hope you asked for a room change.

Vegas should be ashamed! We have stayed a few hotels and they lacked the Lustre we are so used to, little things that could be fixed were ignored, questionable stains and the smell was terribl! They want us to pay premium prices for a run down hotel room?? Come in Vegas do better!
I stayed at the same room (Jubilee tower, same exact view, probably 1 or two floors above) in December 2022. Positives: the view, location and price are perfect. My room and bathroom were very clean, and customer service was great. Negatives: old furniture, small tv (although not as bad as this one) and My lamp was missing a light bulb as well. Sound isolation is not the best (but not the worst) and the hotel gives the "mid construction feel" missing restaurants, closed off sections, etc. In my opinion it is a decent hotel for the price and beats Flamingo, Harrah's, Treasure Island and Linq during winter, and is 1 tier lower than Mandalay Bay, Mirage and Cromwell.

If you do the math you'd recognize that Mandalay Bay is a S-tier property that is being intentionally ran like a lower tier A-tier property, and your pepsi instance is a fine example. MGM has too many S-tier properties (Aria, Vdara, Cosmo, Bellagio, etc.) and too many B tier hotels (MGM Grand, Park, NYNY, Luxor) but nothing in A-tier right in the middle. To fill this gap, they have been artificially increasing prices at Aria to prevent it from falling to lower tier, reducing quality at Mandalay Bay (while keeping prices high) to put it at A-tier, and artificially increasing room rates at MGM Grand just to make it look like an A-tier property (without drastic renovations, fixing issues, etc.). This practice has made me avoid MGM properties in 2023. And speaking of MGM, may I suggest a topic for a future video: Caesars has been keeping prices roughly the same while MGM has skyrocketed its prices in 2023, which means properties like Park MGM cost significantly higher than comparable Paris. This makes most MGM properties to become terrible value for clients compared to ones offered by Caesars.
Its just that .. u know... after I lose all my money at the casino, I resort to my HDMI out to have a nice evenin in watching a movie from my computer...
Danny that hotel is just miserable I stayed there when it used to be ballys and it was horrible. The bed was not usable as it had zero support the room itself was not clean and the air conditioner was so loud when you turned it on and don't get me started about the bathroom talk about a disaster. Hell I even got sick with some flu like systems when I was there not until I checked out and went to caesars palace did I start to feel better after several days, they should have just demolished the entire hotel and just built something new never again will I stay at that property and don't get me started about Excalibur and circus circus either talk about another disaster and no I haven't stayed at those properties and I never will thanks to all of you Vegas bloggers warning me not to.
I have about 268 questions for you. you didn't need to answer them all at once. i was thinking you could print them out and hang them on the wall and propel spit balls at the questions then just answer that one. ok go downtown put a few hundred through a poker machine at Main Street Station with your byod players card so you can get free rooms down their and try the goodwich sandwich shop. ok ill get to work in those questions and you keep doing what you do.
Let's let the new owners get around to completing the renovation of the place. Perhaps they are starting with the common areas and will get to the rooms also. Hopefully, the bigwigs will be informed of your review and make it happen sooner! Better luck next time Danny!

Ask to be moved to a different room. I've stayed there many times. Always in the resort Tower and my room was always in excellent condition.

From other TH-camrs, they renovated the other rooms, not the Jubelie rooms.
I always stay there every time I go, never had any problems with cleanliness, only Caesar’s proposer I’ve ever had that problem with was the flamingo

If you do the math you'd recognize that Mandalay Bay is a S-tier property that is being intentionally ran like a lower tier A-tier property, and your pepsi instance is a fine example. MGM has too many S-tier properties (Aria, Vdara, Cosmo, Bellagio, etc.) and too many B tier hotels (MGM Grand, Park, NYNY, Luxor) but nothing in A-tier right in the middle. To fill this gap, they have been artificially increasing prices at Aria to prevent it from falling to lower tier, reducing quality at Mandalay Bay (while keeping prices high) to put it at A-tier, and artificially increasing room rates at MGM Grand just to make it look like an A-tier property (without drastic renovations, fixing issues, etc.). This practice has made me avoid MGM properties in 2023.
And speaking of MGM, may I suggest a topic for a future video: Caesars has been keeping prices roughly the same while MGM has skyrocketed its prices in 2023, which means properties like Park MGM cost significantly higher than comparable Paris. This makes most MGM properties to become terrible value for clients compared to ones offered by Caesars.

well, it depends on what you’re looking for. For me the link room, even if it is an excellent condition is way too small.
Danny that hotel is just miserable I stayed there when it used to be ballys and it was horrible. The bed was not usable as it had zero support the room itself was not clean and the air conditioner was so loud when you turned it on and don't get me started about the bathroom talk about a disaster.
Hell I even got sick with some flu like systems when I was there not until I checked out and went to caesars palace did I start to feel better after several days, they should have just demolished the entire hotel and just built something new never again will I stay at that property and don't get me started about Excalibur and circus circus either talk about another disaster and no I haven't stayed at those properties and I never will thanks to all of you Vegas bloggers warning me not to.
