I also have a question about how you manage your GFX assets and materials .
For example for fonts designers usually use Fontbase on PC and Font book on mac .
I have a problem with hoarding GFX stuffs , both I bought or freebies from designers . It's kinda getting out of hand . I'm a graphic/ fashion designer .
Do you have any tips and tricks to manage these GFX materials ?

Hi boss, cheers for the kind words and the great question!
For fonts I usually just throw the font files into the folder for whichever project I used them on, so if I ever forget the name I can just check the project folder - I also have a dedicated fonts folder on my desktop as well as backed up on an external.
For other assets I have multiple folders for example one called Mock-ups, one called textures, one called overlays etc, as well as a folder for brushes and plugins etc. I'm pretty messy when it comes to file management, but I got one of those 6tb Seagate desk drives where I just dump everything in case it goes missing on my computers!

After an entire day of testing on PS, I managed to emulate the lasso tool using a basic fine brush.

Was working on a logo yesterday, had it all pretty much done, and the program full on crashed. Lost all my data, had to retrace the PNG I had exported. RIP. That being said, super sick to see this process, inspires me a ton.
I’d love to see one of these how to videos on a more simple thrash style logo reminiscent of anthrax skeletonwitch slayer etc

Hey where do you download your free fonts from? I found the font you were using but not sure if the website is legit. I'm new to downloading fonts. I'm thinking about buying some of your fonts I'm just waiting till I can think of a project I would want them for rn.
Hi buddy, I usually just use the old faithful dafont or urbanfonts for free fonts! They will have licensing info on each fonts page which will let you know if the use is free for commercial or personal use. Hi, can anybody tell me how he is filling in the lasso shape when he draws the letter? It's my first day on photoshop and it won't let me fill in anything after I've done the first shape. Thanks !
With the selection open, press shift + f5 and select black and it will fill your lasso selection for you
