    The great ocean road from Melbourne to Adelaide is very nice...!!!
    You will see the 12 sisters on the coastline...!!!

      Terrible way to get to from Melbourne to Adelaide, but worth it for the great ocean road, just after the great ocean road sucks, good prep for the nullabor I suppose.

      The Monash Freeway in Melbourne during peak hour is a great drive, especially with roadworks.

      I really don't like the colour. The "Green" wrap + the orange Porsche Logos make the car looks cheap.
      The 911 is itself is a great pick for the trip

    Great stuff. I chucked you £50 on the kickstarter as I think your ambition deserves some reward. Steam clean for Aus is because its illegal to take any organic material into the country, and its to ensure their unique ecosystem, both plants and animals, remain intact.

    You really need to do the Nullarbor Plain from Adelaide to Perth. It's actually one of the worlds great road experiences.

    Hi Sam I'm from Melbourne and I suggest you visit 12 apostles on the great ocean road, impressive scenery, lovely beach and nice long roads for the 911. I highly suggest that.

    Sam, approx 3 hours drive west from Sydney is the Bathurst Mt Panarama circuit, this is a must do!, it is a public road most of the year and well worth the trip!

    When in Victoria (Melbourne) make sure to come via Marysville and drive the Black Spur (the Pagani Raduno travelled these roads earlier this year) or come via Reefton and drive the Reefton Spur. These are some of the best roads in Victoria where you can legally drive fast and have endless corners/amazing scenery for many kilometres

    Definitely need to do a lap of the Bathurst racetrack on the drive from Brisbane to Sydney. It's about as close to the Nurburgring as you'll get down here.

    I can remember getting stopped at customs in Melbourne and getting detained as my walking boots were muddy ! Fifteen minutes they came back with my boots looking super clean .

    The Nullarbor isn't that perilous, just don't drive at night / twilight, car clubs occasionally do it. It is a very long drive.

    You must drive around Mount Panorama NSW the circuit they run the Bathurst 1000, it’s a public highway and an easy run from the Blue Mountains with its very own Aussie Motorsport Museum.

    Sam, you should get a stocker from each country/city and put it in a door/wing. It’ll look a mess but will chart a journey and will be covered when you’re done. Completely unique and personal to the trip.

    I drove the Nullarbor Plain in a Nissan Sunny. No worries. John Eyre described the Plain as "a hideous anomaly, a blot on the face of Nature, the sort of place one gets into in bad dreams".

    Check out Wanaka in New Zealand, great drive from Queenstown with some great photo ops. Wanaka is a beautiful place and there is a great car museum and a company that can take you on a tour of the area in some "crazy French cars". And of course, don't miss"The Tree'. 😉

    You should think about going to Georgia. Not the one in USA, but south of Rusia...
    Many amazing roads. Very high mountains, see and dessert ... everything in a small country ;)

    The best driving roads in Australia are really in Tasmania. The island south of Melbourne. You can drive around it in 3days or quicker if your having a go!!!!
