    He is by far the best sports commentator ever. F1 is just not the same without him.

    One of the reasons I got into motor racing was Murray's commentary. RIP

    A thing I love about Murray that isn't quiet as obvious, is that he even makes youtube comments a harmonious place, not just any YT comments, but F1 youtube, a circle where you can't even say that Senna, Prost, Schumacher, Hamilton or Verstappen are good, without some one threatening your family.
    Show me any other person in F1 (or sports or the media as a whole) so universally loved. There are many people from F1 I look up to in utmost respect, but no one was quiet like Murray.
    He may be gone, but his magic remains. When I'm sad (or on any occasion, really...) I watch old F1 races or highlights and listen to Murray and he never fails to cheer me up. If I would get as old as he was, I would still have 56 years of keeping him alive in my memories in me.
    And given that I didn't even grew up with him, since I'm from a non English speaking country, and really just discovered him a few years ago, I have the hope that many people in the future will discover him in the future and find the same enjoyment in his work and keep him alive even longer.

    I felt genuinely sad when he bids farewell at the end. Motorsport isnt the same without him.

    I was too young to have watched any of the races he commentated on, but the commentary he lended to the video games on the PS1 are what introduced me to him and his amazingly exuberant and distinctive voice stuck with me as a kid playing Formula 1 '99.
    R.I.P. Murray Walker. 97 years is one hell of a run, but you'll still be missed.

    Best sports commentator ever.
    James Hunt, Jonathan Palmer, & Martin Brundle were perfect co-commentators for Murray Walker.

    Surprised to hear him commentating on the Nurburgring race of 2007! You learn something new every day. Murray was a joy to listen to. A humble and very nice person, a true legend of Formula 1, and that while he was never a driver in F1. His voice will echo on in all the fantastic memories we have from him.

    What a wonderful technique at the start - his charisma behind the mic, his body movement, his change in tone - we don't see any of this in broadcast but the effort behind it is one of a kind. RIP Murray - the voice of motorsport.

    As Villeneuve got to pole 1st at Jerez 97, then shouldn't the grid order should have been... (1) Villeneuve (2) M Schumacher (3) Frentzen?

  • @Vedad24
    @Vedad24 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I always found stupid if someone puts the exact same time to be 2nd. If you managed to do exact same time you should be ahead of the person who did it 1st because you set up that time again.

    • @Adam.Piper62
      @Adam.Piper62 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      In 90% of cases track evolution means that the later in the session you are the faster your likely to be - with exception to rare and extraordinary weather changes ie pouring rain all of a sudden this has always been the case. So in actual fact to set the time after the first person is normally a harder task.

      If you can't go faster than the current record you are not worthy. It's fair and adds an incentive to try harder. Happens a lot in racing video games, only because they are played a lot more...
