valorant community trying to be happy, positive, and grateful : IMPOSSIBLE
As much as I want to be happy to see that the replay system is actually being worked on, the replay system should have been in the game by day 1, not day whatever it is when it comes out. Valorant is a competitive shooter, we shouldn't have waited this long for a replay system
@@blehblah1Exactly and the fact cs has replay system from day 1 which released 23 fuc*ing years ago and has a much smaller team than it has today
@@blehblah1I think the wait is intentional and is because the game is so inconsistent and has so many closet hackers
Lmao fr
@@blehblah1atleast you got it now be happy. I bet you wont even use it now and will just keep complaining
If they want to create what the community wants, it won't be complete anytime soon. It's not about making it happen, it's about making sure what happens in a Val game happens in the replay system. A 1:1 reproduction but with a different purpose.
Oh and the bug squashing for this must not be fun. You're essentially doubling the work of people handling bugs, or you gotta hire more people to test.
except every game already has replay system including games were it would be harder to implement for example overwatch has abilities they have replay, fortnite has 100 people building they have replays, also valorant community has wanted replays since release and riot is the biggest company worth an insane amount of money no sht replays have bugs these are normal problems it shouldnt take as long as it has with as much resources as valorant does.
@@damongilmore4804 those games aren't valorant. what is so hard for people to fucking understand about this? CS does not have the fucking util valorant has for example and even with a DEVELOPER SHOWING AND TELLING YOU you still want to delusionally argue with phantoms and demons that aren't real.
@@damongilmore4804cant agree more
Stop defending valorant are you getting payed to say that
@@Admin.user.hp.stfu and don't comment again until you're in your 20s
It’s happening. After all the replay system comments on their videos it’s really finally happening.
I love how transparent they’re being
yeah they are saying hey guys its been 4 years and we cant figure out how to replay a door opening
@@damongilmore4804 oh please like you could do it
@@damongilmore4804 i feel bad for people falling for this, those "bugs" are clearly fake showcase bugs made by riot, literally displaced the door and removed the smoke animation... this is probably to buy them some time so that they can figure out how to hide the incredible amount of desync valorants runs on that you would be able to see on a replay.
I love how Tarik didn’t say anything until the last 10 seconds
uhh, guys, he said "Nowhere near launch" so put the hype away for another year or two
The reason why it has come to "at least they are updating", is because, by Riot's own admission, their game was not designed to have a replay system from the very beginning. Which is baffling, because MOST if not ALL competitive games have a replay system. Heck, even their own game League of Legends has a replay system!
As a developer, this shit is not easy as it sounds, maintaining this shit and showing accurate replays of each and every second is impossible
Nice flex
This is a comment I needed to see
bro is that a real person or a robot
I dont get what replay system people mean . Like is it the fortnite one ( you can watch your vods) or a round replay system like after the round it shows you the kills lile in vct.
vods
Full match vods, but the difference is that you can spectate freely among all POVs and even spectate the whole thing from anywhere in the map. Basically, spectator mode for matches that already happened
It’s also great for Content creation too, being able to get in game B-roll for footage
Probably overwatch kind of replay system
because riot is pushing this game as a competitive game so hard yet doesn't have replay system for vods... actually comical.
Why they acting like they literally just started trying to make a replay system. We have been asking for that since beta. BUT GUISE, it's haaard. Like games 15 years ago didn't have replay systems dealing with the exact same issues.
Cod in the early 2000s had reply systems but riot games in 2024 having issues with a door lmao shit company
They're trying to make a replay system that everyone will be happy with and not exploited by people such as cheat makers. While also working on the current game and all the changes. Also this game has more animations in it then other games due to the abilities. Coming from someone who started playing valorant this year. These developers do way more for their community in terms of communication, giving the community what they want, and listening to the community then most other games. People ask for a tournament system they give it a year later, they're working on a replay system even tho it's obvious it's something they didn't want in the game, they have updates super often, and communicate way more then other companies. Yeah theres annoying stuff but it's way less than other games especially if you come from the fgc like me lmao
@@roy7670 They listen to the community on skins. They were creating a tournament system before anyone asked for 1 and if anything people were against franchising. They ignore what the community says all the time in terms of balancing and dumbing the game down. And they sell 20 radianite which upgrades half a premium gun for $30. After you've already spent $20 or $90 on a bundle. They are not your friendly neighborhood indie company, stop defending them like they're the best company there is. They are far from it.
Replay system is a very hard thing to do. The abilities, and the skins of the weapons.. it has to be very precise.
finally now they only need to stop removing map for months and doing absolutely nothing to it
Its funny that rip offs made by companies with a quarter of revenue riot makes every single month managed to incorporate a decent replay system 😆
multi million dollar company btw
Shorts Valorant, Subscribed because your videos always make me smile!
Having a bad replay system is worse than having no replay system. Cheat makers can exploit the replay system to help develop cheats, so I’m glad Valorant is trying to squash all bugs before releasing it.
Like how
Yeah cause having something is better than notjing
@@jickey6108one example i can think of is bypassing the esp feature of replays and implementing it in live games instead of having to inject code to get info straight from the server
@@filosavage7475fr
that is the dumbest thing i have heard all week
How hard can it be? TF2 has had one for 10+ years and CS has one. If Valve can do it so can riot.
valve devs are far more talented tbf but yeah riot would actually be able to make one in a month if they really wanted to, instead theyre trying to hide the amount of desync their game actually has that would show in the replay system and theyre trying to find a way around that.
@@glom199 valve devs are clowns
@@rollingthunderinho not nearly, some of the most talented devs pound for pound if you know anything about the industry.
@@glom199 they must all be working on dota. Have you seen the state of CS2?
@@rollingthunderinho whats the unique problem with cs2? which makes valve devs specifically clowns?
By the time replay comes out the game will be dead
w
we should have patience....after all, riot is such a small indie company.... :3
Riot being lazy while developing valorant is really biting them in the ass right now.
This is why debugging is an essential part of product development life cycle
