It's been a while since Lance Stroll hit his ceiling. Only difference is that now he realizes it. He knows it's not gonna get any better and its getting to him.
Well, considering reaching F1 is already a big triumph, I believe he should move to other championship where the level is low. He will have guaranteed a decent seat, and will finally enjoy racing. Sadly as you said this is too much for him, he will only get more and more frustrated.
@@xc3274 Yah, but after a decent F3 season (preceded by an unimpressive F3 season where actual F1 quality drivers moved up to F2) he was given an F1 seat. He didn't 'reach F1', his dad stood on a large pile of money and set him in F1. You can argue that at times Lance showed maybe he might deserve his seat (I'd dissagree but fine) but you cannot say Lance in any way shape or form earned his seat. Latiffi, Mazapin,... did more to 'earn' and F1 seat when their dad bought theirs.

The perpetual insistence from Lawrence and Krack that it’s just bad luck is such overt nonsense I’ll never be able to take this team seriously while Lance is driving for them.
I said the exact same thing on another video. Lawrence claims that he wants to develop Aston Martin into a championship winning team. However the fact that he insists on his son occupying one of the race seats, even though it’s painfully obvious that Lance isn’t world champion material, makes me not take Lawrence seriously. He cannot develop the team into the best team he can and have his son drive for him at the same time, because his son is simply not good enough to go toe to toe with the elite drivers. That’s why Alonso is making him look inept, yet Mike Krack and Lawrence are pulling out every excuse in the book to explain away Lance’s non performance.
It’s honestly offensive that someone of his level has had 7 years in f1. That’s at least 4 years that someone else with talent could’ve had a shot at it.
@@Majima_Nowhere Stroll wasnt getting knocked out in Q1 other seasons. He has a pole and podiums which is more than what Hulkenberg and Tsunoda achieved. Stroll has better results than Magnussen, Hulkenberg, Tsunoda, Zhou, etc.

100% agree. Especially because he is in his 7th season and there is not really any improvement. And I would expect improvement from the driver who has the most secured seat in the whole F1-grid. (Seriously, even long-term contracts like the ones from Norris or Verstappen are not as secure as the seat of Lance Stroll...)

I’ve always appreciated that this is the one media/TH-cam channel that actually acknowledges that Stroll has talent/ability, but I also think this season was the beginning of the end for Stroll. Granted a rejuvenated Alonso as a teammate is borderline unfair but Stroll simply isn’t close enough, & if he hasn’t figured something out by this time next year I imagine he’ll move on to WEC or some form of endurance racing.
Here in Brazil, I only know two channels that say that Stroll is a good driver, but has been having a bad season. But the majority are only complaining because they want Drugovich in Stroll's place.
I think it's hard to deny that Lance Stroll has talent: his rise through the ranks, arguably somewhat aided by daddy's money, has shown he's a talented driver. But F1 is simply a step too high for Lance Stroll. In the much slower Williams he was able to keep up with and on occasions even outdrive the car, but in the much faster Aston Martin Stroll simply can't keep up and lags behind the car. Now there's no shame in that, it simply is a fact of life that only the best of the best can make it in the F1 and even of that group only a small percentage is talented enough to win races. I agree that Lance should draw his conclusions, leave F1 and compete in a different class, where his talent can shine and he can even become a world champion.
I think Lance would actually do very well in IndyCar. For similar reasons as to the ones Josh listed for WEC. Race pace, starts, overtakes/traffic management, wet conditions are (usually) all strengths of Stroll, and they fit with a lot of strengths of IndyCar; you can still challenge for wins when starting outside the top 10 and can afford some inconsistency without automatically losing the battle
Well, Piastri also immediately had to compare to Norris. Norris isn't Alonso, but he's certainly no slouch either. And Piastri is doing really well. Furthermore, this is far, far from Lance's first year in F1. He's had his chances, and he's certainly faster than some other guys like Goatifi, but I think it's time he left F1, as rough as that may sound.
Yuki Tsunoda will more then likely replace Lance in 2025 or 2026 when Honda becomes AMR's engine supplier. But IMO Lance is a better driver but Yuki is more focused on improving his skills where Lance is just using his abilities to get by and Stroll seems to have no desire to improve himself or the team his father has bought for him to race for !!
Dad wanted me to go study, for architect no less. He had it all figured out. I had no affinity at all. I also didn’t have the guts to just say no. Worst couple of years of my life. And when I was finally let go, I still had to pretend to feel down about it. In fact I was elated. Methinks the same is happening to Lance right now. Lawrence is the one with the dream, Lance just wants Big Scary Dad not to be mad at him. I feel sorry for the guy. Of course Lance wasn’t allowed to play tennis professionally. Barking Bully Dad wouldn’t have had a chance to build a company around that. It had to be motorsports so he could buy and run the team. Out of respect and love: my dad wasn’t like that at all. He just wanted me to grab the chances he never got. But the effect was the same, I wanted to please him more than I wanted my own thing.
I don’t know if that’s entirely true, if it were Lawrence wouldn’t be so hell bent on having his son racing. If it was purely business he would put as much talent next to Alonso as possible. Lawrence will sell the team so he doesn’t have to sack his son.
Lance's parents divorced a while ago so I'm unsure as to how much influence Lawrence had on him growing up or whether this buy-in into F1 was a "sorry I divorced your mom so here's an F1 seat to make up for all of those lost parenting years" type of thing.
Aston Martin didn't need nepo baby to save them, they needed hard currency. Strulović's vision didn't have to include his mediocre racer son. You are projecting.
If Vettel had the fire in him he had back in 2017, maybe. Man just wants to chill with his family and bees now, and honestly that's fine, I'm happy for him. But if that gets boring for him then yes, pleasepleasePLEASE come back Seb...
He was at his peak last year till he announced his retirement. He was almost always near the points. Demolished Stroll. Was constantly challenging faster cars near the front of the midfield. After Hungary his form plummeted and he only had few standout races like Suzuka or USA.
@@paperplane-db8qfHonestly, no, Seb’s performance was pretty consistent in the 2nd half of last year. Take out the car issues at Monza and Mexico, and the awful strategy at Abu Dhabi, he had a decent performance in almost all the other races. Great start at Spa, finishing p8, holding off Lewis and almost max in Singapore, not to mention Suzuka and COTA, and his Abu Dhabi qualifying. The thing is Stroll always had the tyre strategy upperhand within the team in the last few races, Singapore, Brazil and Abu Dhabi, otherwise he would’ve doubled the point gap last year. For 2021 yes, he arguably struggled in the 2nd half right as the car fell in order, but his 2022 performance (bar qualifying) has been his best since 2018.
I think that is exactly what they are doing. Lance will stay put in 2024 but then put into the Valkyrie in 2025. Just enough time to get a new driver in, get him accustomed to the environment at AMF1 and also help them in the development of the new car for the 2026 rules. It's a win for all sides, Lance even has the chance for glory as he would have to other people in the car who could help him out. This would also fit very nicely with Alonso saying for years that he would love to return to Le Mans one day and the rumours about Sebastian Vettels return to motorsport. Can you imagine? An Aston Martin at Le Mans, piloted by Alonso/Vettel/Stroll?
@@zordiark9673In this case, I think he stays as a reserve for one more year, but gets a lot more seat time in testing and practice sessions, then finally gets promoted to a race seat in 2025
Ive said it for a long time, and I'll say it again: Stroll needs to be in the WEC. His strengths are in consistency, at least, in terms of lap over lap consistency. But his qualifying is just abysmal. He's not fast enough. But it's also true that being fast enough for the WEC but not for F1 is still faster than 99.999% of the world's population.
@@santumi2298 If you say his qualifying pace is abysmal, you need to watch Istanbul 2020. Or Monza 2017 where he got into the front-row in a mid car like Williams.
Lance would probably do pretty well in wec, almost every driver that has gone to wec that didn’t do great in F1 has been insanely quick. Take Toyota for example, almost every one of their wec drivers has F1 experience, and Toyota arguably has the strongest driver pace. Even with Giovanazzi at Ferrari, he didn’t do great in F1 but he’s been flying in wec this year.
WEC is a fantastic idea for Lance to go to. WEC and F1 to me are on similar levels we know WEC is probably more competitive and it’ll be a great place to show his talents
better driving off for Indy since that's where all the fraudulent clowns go or if you want where all the pretensions rich fuck bois go he'd be a perfect fit for Formula Drift
I don't think Lance should be commended for coming back so early. He clearly wasn't ready. If he had waited a race or two not only would he have been driving at full capacity upon his return, his replacement also would have been driving at full capacity during the first couple of races. Thus the team would have scored more points.
But still, it deserved the shout seeing how fully committed he is. Because any inexperienced driver would hurt the development. Never meant to say Drugovich wasn't ready for F1, he just needed to develop the car more. And, to be fair, I wouldn't prefer to see Nyck De Vries 2.0 in all fairness.
He looked like a decent driver till this year, something clearly happened in his head. I'm sure a season out would be the best choice for him and the team, then maybe he can come back wwith a better motivation
This may sound ridiculous, but the car being good makes him look much worse. A bad car has a lower ceiling so a bad driver can only be so far off their teammate A good car raises the ceiling and the potential skill gap, and that's what we're seeing
Alonsos consistency is the main reason for it. He’s firmly put Lance in his place after he held his own with Seb Vettel, who still could put a shift in even after his 2020 stint at Ferrari. Seeing Alonso get 6 podiums in a row, and you’re sitting no higher than 6th in a race, Lance I think knows his time is up and is secretly relying on Lawrence to save his seat when there’s a damn good roster of drivers waiting for the call
I think he realized that he's not at the level that someone like Alonso is. Or will be. Last year the AM wasn't a good car, so he actually didn't look that far from Vettel. This year Alonso used every bit of potential that this year's AMR had and it showed just how little Stroll is capable of getting out from a car. I honestly think it would be best for him to go to another series, this must be taking a toll on him.

After watching Lance for his whole F1 career, I think the fairest way to define thr guy is that he's a good driver, but not enough for a team that wants to compete for big things. In other words, he's a F1 level talent, but for a lower midfield team or a backmarker. So for a team like Aston currently him being there in a race seat only hurts both parts rather than helping him. Tbh, I feel he would thrive as their third driver, being a super sub when needed by the team+doing a few FP sessions here and there. And just like you said, he also seems to be one of those guys who could be great for an endurance program (or a non-F1 program in general).
This is a sober and good take. I would say Stroll is "good enough for formula 1", but not at top driver able to fight for championship titles no matter the car. Putting him in the Valkyrie is a good idea. He will most likely be a top driver in any other form of racing outside of formula 1.
I completely agree with you. Anyone who says Lance is an awful driver must only think it's F1 or nothing in the world of motorsports. Lance had been a good enough F1 driver before this year; he's a good enough midfield driver, he's just not at the level of being in a top team in F1, which is the highest level in all of motorsport out there. So it's not a big deal if you're not at that level, you can still have a very successful career in many other categories. Put Lance in WEC, IndyCar, FE, and he'd be do a whole lot better than he is right now and win races and, dare I say, maybe win championships. If Lance doesn't get back to his 2020-2022 form next year, I'd say he should move to new AM Valkyrie WEC program in 2025.
@@Robalexe I agree. Not only that, but looking at plenty of stuff you can also see that he's a very introverted guy, which is probably hard for him in a world like F1 (where you have a huge spotlight on you at all times). So him being in other categories, where the lights aren't as bright but there's still a great level of competition, could be perfect for the guy. Not only that, but he coming in could also bring him some value for the series themselves considering Lawrence Stroll's contacts.
Sportcar in general and WEC especially is so fucking underrated. It gives the best racing currently, races are avail for free in full on youtube after a few weeks only after the race and attending it in person is SO FUCKING AFFORDABLE with SO MUCH MORE ACCESS TO THE TEAMS AND THE CARS.
Thank you for shouting out WEC. I think he would be a good fit in the AM. A lot of ex F1 drivers have thrived in other series. Toyota's line up are full of ex F1 drivers. Alonso joined Toyota in 2018 and 2019 in WEC and won basically everything that year.
One thing people forget about AM this year is that development troubles were ALWAYS expected. No one knew the AM would be this good, and the team had to move facilities mid season. That's an even bigger knock on Stroll in my opinion, who would have known that good results were absolutely essential early on in the year to avoid the slump into fourth.
No they weren't, in fact given the huge amount of extra time they had for development over the other front runners thanks to finishing 7th in the championship last year most were expecting big developments early season, it disappointing that we didn't even come close to seeing that.
@@andrewcarter9649 they had more time preseason and made a better car at the start. They had less time and equipment mid-season, and didn't keep up with development. We saw exactly what should've been expected, not sure who "most" is.
In fact I remember watching a 'The Race' video on this very topic early on in the season that came to the same conclusion I did. They'd have a good season but their ability to deliver later on depended almost entirely on how the transition between facilities went.
Lost Vettel, who was absolutely elite at aiding the development of the car. I knew losing him would hurt us Look at 2022, the Aston Martin got BETTER over the course of the season instead of worse
@@Duval-In-The-Wallthey also didn't front end development as much though. We live in the cost cap ERA. AM spend a lot of said cap pre season. Regardless of who the driver was there was going to be regression (unless the other teams collectively dropped the ball and they didnt)
Lance's last bit of actual good form was lost after his crash a Mugello in 2020, he was 4th in the standings behind Max before that race. Then his tyre failed(which wasn't his fault) but somehow ever since he hasn't recovered the form he showed ever since(Turkey 2020 quali being the only exception).
I feel like the pressure is too much for him. He had a good car in 2020 and showed strong results when there was less pressure. But this year, we all know the car was great at the begin of the season and his teammate performed well. Meanwhile Lance first raced injured and after that got his race results ruined by badly timed stops in at least three races. That put him far behind Nando and at that point his performances went from below average to straight up bad.
@@Duval-In-The-Wallwell yeah when your tyre fails while running for a podium, you get taken out multiple times by other drivers, catch covid and miss a round, of course he couldn’t score points. The guy was outracing Perez in 2020 until all of that started happening to him once after another.
The worse stroll does, the better for AM. Think about it: the lower they finish in the constructor's, the more AT time they get next year, which could give alonso the chance to win another race.

Spa was not Stroll's fault, the team changed his tires when he told them not to. Alonso made the exact same crash while on appropriate tires for the conditions. I've been saying for months that he should be moved into WEC as he's show the dedication to survive in the WEC and his issue in F1 is mainly reaction speed and the slower WEC cars would be better for him.
Once again a solid Formula 1 video from Josh. Good humor, well thought out opinions. I completely agree in that Lance had his chances. Time to try something new. Keep up the great content Josh.
In addition, I would argue that WEC has surpassed F1 as the top flight of motorsport. ... Largely because it's got its shit together and isn't a bore when someone streaks ahead. (That's kind of a given in the world of endurance racing; depending on the length, a close race is considered being a lap apart.)
As someone with a sports management degree, I can comfortably say that your strategy pitch to place Lance Stroll into WEC is fairly valid It is absolutely evident, that Lawrence Stroll‘s ambition, to transform Aston Martin into a Championship contending/winning F1 team, will remain impossible, as long as his son occupies one of the seats. TLDR; good video thesis He has to go blud!
Yeah, I'm just not sure that Lance fits F1 as well as he would fit endurance racing. It's very clear that different drivers fit better and worse with certain types of cars. I hope Lance fits well with endurance racing and Lawrence doesn't sell Aston Martin. I love the team and want them to fight for championships in the years to come with any of Fernando, Felipe, Yuki, or whomever they recruit to their team.
Thing is you can use a big name in endurance racing to bring sponsors but have two other proper solid drivers carry them. Not really a problem but he wouldn't be a leading driver of any team. Look at Petit Le Man last weekend, experience in prototypes is king.
Lance isn't a bad driver (that is, he isn't as bad as some would want to think). He just isn't going to be much better than he already is and most likely won't improve because he will try to prove that can do better. Lance's father's involvement was most likely a detriment to his development.
Youre right, he isnt bad. Just a Mid-Driver that shouldnt sit in a Car thats way to good for him. He can shine in a Midfield Car at most (like he did with RP in 2019, although more in Wet-weather Conditions).
Exactly, having Williams put his F3 car in their wind tunnel and have the team flying engineers to his F3 races and his Dad shutting down Monza for private F1 tests must have actually worked against him mentally.
Feels like a similar case to Danica Patrick, forcing their way into a car they just don’t jive with. Hopefully they do as you suggested and find another series for him.
Fully agree with this take. I wonder if Aston's entry into WEC is in any way influenced by Lance looking to move series. I think WEC is on the rise and Aston getting involved is the right move. Lance could do great there, we have seen plenty of F1 drivers shine in sportscar categories.
i desperately want lance to do well. he gets shit on so much for his dad, as if most people in f1 don't come in w millionaire families too and he seems like a decent guy as well
Honestly thought he was far better not driving for his dad. The fact that he gets shat on for finishing 3 points behind Massa in Williams on his rookie season, its actually quite ridiculous. It is not wrong that he came in with big bucks, but the relentless abuse he’s faced since his rookie season im sure must’ve affected him at some point
There are already "underwhelming" F1 drivers that thrived in WEC. Such as Antonio Giovinazzi as well as Sebastian Buemi. Also pretty hyped for Kvyat and Grosjean for Lamboghini next season. Lance in there would be a cherry in the cake.
Yeah, as much as i dislike "where are my front wheels" buemi he's doing pretty well. Although he should maybe focus a bit less on complaining and more on driving and he'd probably be even better.
My very first thought when they announced the Valkyrie project was that this was a setup for an "honourable" exit from F1 for Lance. The problem is I don't know is he's going to last another year.
Yesterday i read a news article saying that Stroll Father blame "bad luck" and "injured hand" as reasons why Stroll is not good this season. But to be honest, there's many other reasons.
Father and Son is to be blamed for Aston Martin's struggles. Yess the development went the wrong way, but if someone else was in that seat that could push Fernando, Aston wouldn't be struggling so badly in the Constructors.
I can't believe Aston Martin and RCR is dealing with the exact issue of a driver only being on a team because of a relationships to the owner and having to compete with a champion teammate
When a team struggling financially to simply stay alive have a pay driver I can understand it. But when AMR who have plenty of money and are fighting for wins and podiums have one, its just embarrassing. For Lance's own sake, for the sake of AMR, and for the sake of F1, I hope he moves on to other motorsports where he can thrive rather than being the butt of so many jokes. Would love to see him in WEC for instance.
Lance is a great racing driver. Seriously. He just might not be “front-end-of-a-F1-field” great. But in sports cars, touring cars, Indycars, he’d be just fine. Look, at any time there are only maybe 20 humans alive who can race at the front of the F1 field. No shame in being in the next 50 or so best drivers. Here’s to you Lance. You had seven years in F1, that’s more than most of us could ever achieve. No shame in that. Now give the seat to Albon.
I feel sorry for Lance.. It's not easy when your dad wants to achieve HIS dreams through you. He reminds me of Cillian Murphy's character in Inception.
Nice call iv been saying this all year. It makes sense and lance could still have a good career in racing then train to take over management of the Aston race division as he gets older.
The only thing I will say about Lance Stroll is that in both F1 Manager 22 and 23 the first thing I did when playing Aston Martin was to sack Stroll and replace him (with Piastri in '22 and Pourchaire in '23) immediately. In both cases I believe the team performed better than it would have with Sir Lancelot behind the wheel
Stroll is Decent in my opinion. he DEMOLISHED all the competition in Euro F3 in 2016. he finished in front of guys like Russell, Hubert, Zhou, Gunther, Cassidy. 14 Wins (5 Wins in The Last 5 Races). i mean, that's something.
Agreed BUT that was seven (7) years ago and EuroF3 This is now 2023 and F1 He simply has been unable to replicate previous form into what is required in F1 Not everyone can achieve to that level It’s a fact Josh surmises that Lance could achieve great things in other areas of motor racing
Been the season from hell. Horribly unlucky on and off the track, and unable to take advantage of the occasions he wasn't. The year can't end soon enough. But the pileup I've seen makes me sick. Most motorsports media have been egging it on and milking his every word or struggle for engagement, and the fandom is no better. Enough of this.
I have the feeling that Stroll truly is what the fandom accuses Checo of being: a massive underachiever with an inferiority complex with a God-like teammate.
Funny how you make this video and Lance has a good weekend finally after so long. Lance has to stay in this position so that at least, Aston Martin won't give up 4th without a fight
I’ve been trying to shrug off the quarters loss for two weeks, and then I got a chance to distract myself with another passion in F1. Only for Josh to burn Ireland worse than Alonso’s seat burned his ass. Thanks for that Josh 😂
Haven't watched yet. But Vettel has said that he cannot say no to F1. Just imagine Vettel + Alonso in the same up and coming team, it would be a inverse Senna+Prost, meaning only love.
Liam has shown he's capable. He also has a good attitude. At the moment I think he's more deserving than Stroll, Sargent or even Danny Ric. The AT car this year is trash and he managed to do well in it at a couple races. He more than deserves a full time ride at this point.
I agree and honestly wouldn't be surprised if that's what he does. Lance seems to start having enough of the BS surrounding him in F1 and by now he must have realised he is and won't ever be on the level of Fernando Alonso, Lewis Hamilton or Max Verstappen. WEC while *technically* a step down from the _pinnacle_ of motorsport, could help him rebuild himself. And with the backing he has he can still think "I'll win WEC and then return to F1 for the last stint". Don't forget that he's only 24 after all
Sure there have been fisticuffs in the pitlane in the past and I'm glad that, for the most part, the sport seems to have grown out of that phase and drivers maybe have their egos in check a bit better these days. But what Lance did wasn't driver on driver it was employer on employee, billionaire overlord on underling and that, for me, is a whole other level of sinister! Where does Lance's relationship with his trainer even go from there? Wait, maybe it happens a lot off camera though - thought it was odd that a certain other driver's trainer left in such a hurry...
Employer... Billionaire... I wasnt aware it was Lawrence that pushed him, I thought it was Lance. As for where their relationship goes: from every single F1 professional i've ever heard talk about Lance, he seems to be very well regarded as a very nice bloke - so i'd imagine their relationship goes back to normal. It was simply a push in a heated moment after all.

Very true, parents' dreams of us must die so ours can live
I don’t know if that’s entirely true, if it were Lawrence wouldn’t be so hell bent on having his son racing. If it was purely business he would put as much talent next to Alonso as possible. Lawrence will sell the team so he doesn’t have to sack his son.
Lance's parents divorced a while ago so I'm unsure as to how much influence Lawrence had on him growing up or whether this buy-in into F1 was a "sorry I divorced your mom so here's an F1 seat to make up for all of those lost parenting years" type of thing.

Ive said it for a long time, and I'll say it again: Stroll needs to be in the WEC. His strengths are in consistency, at least, in terms of lap over lap consistency.
A bad car has a lower ceiling so a bad driver can only be so far off their teammate
A good car raises the ceiling and the potential skill gap, and that's what we're seeing

Only thing I can say about stroll this year is that he was the only person able to take Spain turn 14 flat out
Lance isn't a bad driver (that is, he isn't as bad as some would want to think).

There are already "underwhelming" F1 drivers that thrived in WEC. Such as Antonio Giovinazzi as well as Sebastian Buemi. Also pretty hyped for Kvyat and Grosjean for Lamboghini next season. Lance in there would be a cherry in the cake.

Would love to see him in WEC for instance.
the RPM video was a masterpiece
Revell is the Lawful Good compared to RPM's Chaotic Evil
The nerve!
TH-cam recommended this video after Stroll sent Ricciardo to the shadow realm. 😆
Nice call iv been saying this all year. It makes sense and lance could still have a good career in racing then train to take over management of the Aston race division as he gets older.
I'm sure you get this all the time, but I'd love to see you and rocket powered Mohawk do a collaboration
RPM is a manus
The only thing I will say about Lance Stroll is that in both F1 Manager 22 and 23 the first thing I did when playing Aston Martin was to sack Stroll and replace him (with Piastri in '22 and Pourchaire in '23) immediately.
In both cases I believe the team performed better than it would have with Sir Lancelot behind the wheel
Ahhh yes rocketpoweredmohawk’s favourite driver
This is spot on
We’ve gotta make sure this video reaches the Strolls, it is a true master plan
Well done Josh!
Agreed BUT that was seven (7) years ago and EuroF3
This is now 2023 and F1
He simply has been unable to replicate previous form into what is required in F1
Not everyone can achieve to that level
It’s a fact
Josh surmises that Lance could
achieve great things in other areas of motor racing
@@gordonritchie9341 imo he can easily be a Multi-Time WEC Champion
@@soultiedinaknotiamnotme yes!
0:44 "he is a cruch of other F1 TH-cam channels"
Few hours later: RocketPoweredMohawk has uploaded a video
“WINDOW LICKING BASTARD”
That Ferrari logo made me laugh out loud 😂
Dear Josh
Thank very much for reminding us of our pain.
Kind regards
All of Ireland
I mean France lost at the same stage as the host so that also sucks. At least you had the 6 nations. It's better than nothing.
that irish rugby joke hit hard
"talked about by *certain other F1 youtubers*" I AM CALM
Been the season from hell. Horribly unlucky on and off the track, and unable to take advantage of the occasions he wasn't. The year can't end soon enough.
But the pileup I've seen makes me sick. Most motorsports media have been egging it on and milking his every word or struggle for engagement, and the fandom is no better. Enough of this.
I have the feeling that Stroll truly is what the fandom accuses Checo of being: a massive underachiever with an inferiority complex with a God-like teammate.
Can't wait for the next RPM vid... 😂😂😂😂
This has to be my favourite f1 youtuber
sit back and enjoy the roast...
0:50 was that a RocketPMohawk reference?
Stroll responds to your ridiculous video with a P7?
What is ridiculous about the video in your opinion?
Funny how you make this video and Lance has a good weekend finally after so long. Lance has to stay in this position so that at least, Aston Martin won't give up 4th without a fight
I honestly feel like it might be best for him and his mental health to be sacked.
I agree Josh. I have seen from Stroll the makings of a good touring car driver.
I’ve been trying to shrug off the quarters loss for two weeks, and then I got a chance to distract myself with another passion in F1. Only for Josh to burn Ireland worse than Alonso’s seat burned his ass. Thanks for that Josh 😂
The other youtubers he is talking about is Rocket Powered Mohawk, I think. 0:49
Or.....we could........THROW! HIM! IN! JAIL!
Well based off austin, its possible the Josh Revell curse works in the opposite direction also.
Haven't watched yet. But Vettel has said that he cannot say no to F1. Just imagine Vettel + Alonso in the same up and coming team, it would be a inverse Senna+Prost, meaning only love.
That little dig at Ireland definitely hurt a little bit 😅
Best of luck in the final!
we all know Josh just wants Liam Lawson in a seat, so bad
I think a *lot* of people want to see Liam Lawson with a permanent drive.
Very well put! 🫡
I'm impressed this video breaks the 10 minute mark. So little of substance is actually said.
Check out THE RACE if you think this had no substance
@@BlackCat88899 I know what The Race is buddy 🤣😭. What I’m saying is that he talked a whole lot about lance stroll with saying anything interesting or even giving a single unique opinion. This is a video for people who know nothing about lance stroll or F1 in general, DTS kids.
Legitimately, I'd LOVE to watch Lance try his hand in Endurance racing.
It is a bit unfortunate to be an F1 driver and your last name be "stroll".
*Strulovich
or as one eccentric Sheffield man likes to call it: "Vitch Tits"
which isn't even is real last name
Lance got a lot of undeserved hate in his first few seasons where ironically he drove his best races.
Now he has seemingly plateaued and for once the criticism is valid. Personally i felt he was good enough to fight for a title in a dominant car, but i think while he has the physical and theoretical capabilities to do that on a good day, he just doesn’t have the consistency or mental strength to have one long good season. Its a shame but i think he should move into another category of racing to find himself again.
You need to apologize to Lance
And Lance needs to apologize to Ricciardo. 😆
Bra your videos is GOLD!!! PURE GOLD.... TNX man
