I believe the reason double chicken sandwiches aren't a thing is because usually more often than not the chicken used in a standard chicken sandwich has about an .75 [3/4] to 1 inch thick cross section including breading. Usually places that do double burgers feature individual patties that measure in around .33 [1/3] to .50 [1/2] inches in cross section so really you're getting around the same size sandwich depending on which meat you prefer.

I think you make some valid points, but here are some numbers for comparison: KFC double down is 610 calories, 37g of fat, 150mg of cholesterol, and almost 2k mg of sodium. The bacon McDouble is 460 calories, 24g of fat, 85mg of cholesterol, and 1.1k sodium. The only thing the double down is "healthier" in is the lack of carbs, but it's still 18g vs 34g. Once you add a nice thick bun, you just added around 30 - 40 (depending on bun size) grams of carbs. The double down is definitely worse, but I totally agree that they're close enough that people's reaction was extra. I also agree that while no bun is literally healthier, people weirdly assume it's worse for you because it's "all meat." To further your point, most specialty burgers at major fast food chains are basically lethal to people with heart disease and such, weighing in at well over 1,000 calories, 3,000mg of sodium, 100+g of fat, etc. And we all know a lot of the people getting these are getting a side like french fries and maybe a coke. I don't think the problem is that these burgers/double down exist, I think it's that people don't always treat them like a once-a-month kinda thing if they're over the age of 25. If you moderate and exercise, you can pretty much eat whatever you want, which is how I see meals like this. Also you're not overweight and you're young so I say who gives a shit; enjoy yourself and keep making videos for our entertainment :)

Carnivore or Lion diet is really popular for lack of carbs. Shake Shack offers all their burgers with the lettuce bun, but a true carnivore diet is no veggies at all. I order Shake Shack triple with just the burgers and eat them with a fork. 😮
