I just got the German version of the base game and we really had a blast playing it. I suspect it'll be one that we'll return to often. I love the addition of 5th and 6th player boards, especially since my mom's playing group is one of five players and I feel like this would be one that they'd enjoy playing once the pandemic's over and they can meet again. Vita and Passion - as the other two expansions are called here in Germany - definitely seen interesting as well, so they'll absolutely be on my radar as well :D

This looks great--the modular format lets you tweak the game to be as complex as you'd like it to be. The modules in this one seem to add very little rules overhead but make the decisions a little bit more difficult.

That’s definitely true. Especially if you want a lighter experience with just a small but variable tweak then bolt the apprentice module on.

As a fan of Sagrada, but a lighter weight gamer, this is not for me (or my family). Base Sagrada is straightforward, but this adds SO much more, too much to try to achieve, too much to think about at once. No thanks. Glad to see your review so I know it's not for us.

Agreed, I got the 5-6 players expansion because playing with the private pool (even at 2p) is nice + new objectives (especialy the new private ones) and facade boards add some variety. The other two expansions so far are a pass as they change things too much.
I would honestly just want a new expansion that adds cards to the base game!

aSyphodias they won't just sell us easy to add stuff, that would be too convenient. There has to be new gimmicks that you will try only once or twice.

Thanks for the review. I appreciate how quick and clear it was. I have a good understanding of the expansion now :)

helpful review, thanks. Maybe use a dry wipe marker to add apprentice symbols to original base game boards to expand number of apprentice boards and associated cards? just an idea.

Would need to balance it with original window difficulty rating since the original boards are still getting the same number of favor tokens at start.

Thank you for the Review, Bryan.
I wasn't impressed and skipped the passion expansion.
This "life" one seems more natural to add to the base game
And I really like the more challenging global scoring cards.
Becomes and a more tactical and skillful game.

I really am looking forward to Sagrada: Life, big fan of it all. This expansion seems more for experienced players. I can see that because it is part 2 of the Facades. The next expansion will probably be another twist for more advanced playing yet again. Just gonna throw out that prediction. Expansions should be about growing Sagrada's uniqueness in my opinion. I have no complaints so far which is intresting because I am a very picky TT Gamer. Thanks for the review!

I was JUST wondering when the next expansion was coming out.

Those orange dice seem to be ty confusing. It takes the game away from a gateway game and makes it too complex for what this game is supposed to be, for me at least
