I have no idea why this video doesn't have 1 million views. Al is exactly what we all need right here right now in our world. She is the voice of sanity and reason amidst so many people that are lost. I have been reading and listening to her brilliant insight since she first started her blog and have been inspired beyond comprehension. We pray for you and look forward to hearing and reading more and more. Thank you for your brutal honesty. We need more of this in the Church. Thank you for producing this interview and sharing it.

I joined when I was 19 as a Baby Boomer. It was a reconstruction of my life and it continues to feel like I live in 2 worlds.

I love this conversation so much I just met you Connie at your speaker for a day event in January. This conversation touched me so many ways and I am an older version of Al. I was a converts to the church because my friend asked me to move to Utah and help her pay her rent. She is a Mormon and took me to the single adult ward in Alpine, I’m working on my story right now my testimony I nearly died more than eight times trying to be converted to the gospel. I just left Utah a place I know in love with lots of people I know, and love to move to Kansas on the border of Missouri, and Kansas, this has been the craziest decision I’ve ever made to move here after dating someone for three months thinking we were meant for each other. She backed out after I was here for one month, and has completely isolated himself from me.😢 I discovered that he is not a worthy priesthood holder, but he pretends to be so I know God used him to bring me here. There is some other purpose. I am leaving my Sales career to become a paraprofessional special education teacher like my mom was.

What an amazing attitude! I deserve good because I’m His. A concept I would do well to adopt.

You talking about Peter made me cry. I can tell it's the Spirit. It gives me so much hope and bravery to submit to God. He is good, isn't he? I think I'm really starting to believe it.

I have a similar story to her, except that I had a whole adult career as a sales woman model and actress in LA got in my Prius and drove across the country to Utah when I was 35

I don't know that I care or don't care about the tatoos, but I do suspect that people who have them are encouraged by your attitude of self love and knowing that God sees a wonderful spirit child and wants the best for that person.

😂I'm out to change our culture....I wear pants to church all the time .... isn't it that we are supposed to "wear our best"? Is there actual doctrine on not wearing pants?
