I'm sharing some parts of this message. My patriarchal blessing helps me when the humans in our church community act imperfectly, just as I do. I know that as individuals, we all can repent and change and be forgiven and forgive others. I pray often that I do God's will and forgive everyone, everything. I desire to do this because I'm commanded to and I desire also to be forgiven everything, every time I act as a weak human.
Thank you dear Sis Craven and Sis Craig. I needed to hear these words, especially as I am often guilty of calling myself a total failure with regards to raising my 2 children, because they both left the Church when youths. I try not to, but i am often brought down so far by this. I really pray that I will take into my heart both of these talks.
My son left the church when he was young The hardest thing for me was not blaming myself but reminding myself of the beautiful gift of agency we have been given I could not deprive my child of that by being angry or dwelling on the pain of it. I had to use my agency to love him unconditionally and trust in Heavenly Father He was His son first . He has sense returned to church and was married in the temple. I know that this is not always the case and the wait may be a little longer but rest assured God loves them and will watch over them 🧡
@@kristaworth1066 Thank you dear Sister. Prayers have lead me to know that they will return to the Church, but not this side of the Veil. It's so important to me to believe this, and keep myself strong for their sakes. I'm thankful for you that your son came home and married in the Temple. Much love. 😍
It is my understanding that we are forgiven through Christ’s atonement, but we still need to provide restitution and ask forgiveness of those we have offended or hurt. The best thing to do is ask your bishop. ❤
It probably depends on the sin. As she says the atonement starts working on you immediately but full "forgiveness" requires a complete change of heart in your part. He will forgive every little bit you're willing to give. We are the limiting factor, not Him.
So grateful for these messages of hope and truth. Thank you!
These talks touched me deeply and were an answer to my pleading prayers. Thank you.

At 13:50, she says that forgiveness is not given immediately after we repent. What does that mean? When will forgiveness occur?
Perhaps she's referring to the fact that if another person is involved, they may not immediately forgive us?
