The two trees in the Garden of Eden are a gateway to mortality and a gateway to immortality. Christ is the path to the gateway to immortality. Our eternal condition entering immortality is based on our acceptance of Christ in mortality - of which Al Carraway is so beautifully articulating. Christ's way is the power of God unto Salvation.
