Geographical edit has been completed. Now you know Math & Geography were not my strong suit. :) As for food in Disney, I did not know that. Great to hear! Be well everyone. We are approaching 200,000 subscribers sometime in the next 24 hours! So EXCITING!
Just yanking your chain Eric. No one is perfect. And it did make me chuckle. Especially as l watched CC first ( she needs to stop filming if shes stoned. It’s not a pretty sight)😂. Keep up the good work mate. Cheers
200.000 subscribers! That's awesome. It could not happen to a nicer person. Its funny that they send you a plaque when you reach 100.000. And they send nothing when you reach other bench Mark's. Like 200.000 or even 1 million. Hope all is well.
The Enchanting Forest is adorable and perfect for families because of price. Seems like something from the past that feels quaint and you can walk around and enjoy it with your family without a mob. Disney is way over the top and to commercial now. Thank you and I had fun watching it.
Cannot tell you how much my husband & I enjoyed seeing this little family theme park! It brought happy memories of taking our now grown daughters to Santa's Village in the San Bernadino mountains.
Hi Eric that place kinda reminded me of Santa's village out in California wanted to congratulate you on almost hitting 200 thousand subs on your channel I know how difficult it is for a youtuber to reach 50 thousand let alone 200 thousand you should be proud of your self I am.Congrats again good video Eric
Nomadic Fanatic thanx for highlighting the fabulously obscure Enchanted Forest ~ finally went here a few years ago with kids, it was great! From the Wild West, Fairy Tale Forest, the Olde Europe Street, the odd angles of everything on a hillside, surreal indeed! Great log and bobsled rides! Much appreciated! Meow!
Eric... I'm impressed... a lot of adults would not be able to go to a kids area like that by themselves they'd "have to go with a kid" to avoid feeling self-conscious. You are therefore a very self-confident individual... an inspiration to all adults... and thereby, having a great life experience!
It's amazing to think the owner is the creator of those characters and made them himself! Great place for the kids to have fun and spark their imaginations!
I would absolutely choose a place like this over Disney any day! Your commentary inside the haunted house was priceless.😄 Live, in-park, free production music and a Jax montage are always a special treat.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Thanks for all your hard work Eric. Safe travels.👍🏼🤘🏼😎
Disney has the copy rights to their version of Snow White but not the original tale. At 5.19 look at the dwarf names on the beds. they are not the same as the Disney version. The Brothers Grimm published it in 1812 in the first edition of their collection Grimms' Fairy Tales. It was titled in German: Sneewittchen and numbered as Tale 53.
I live in oregon and have passed enchanted forest many times. Thought it was just for kids, I was so wrong. This is a place I would love to take family and friends. As always...thanks! Love you and Jax, Safe travels! Maureen
Back in the 70's Enchanted Forest was always advertised as "Seven Miles South of Salem" My kids when they were 7 always begged to go. We did. Those kids are in their 40's now. Thanks for the memories, Eric. :)
Wow, I can't imagine the maintenance that goes in to maintaining that place. What great attention to detail. Love what you're doing Eric and appreciate all the work you put into it.
The park reminded me of years past when it was cheap to get in but still had loads of fun. I thank you for showing these small parks instead of expensive commercialized ones.
Just as Disney continued to assimilate other public folklore and made it their own. Oh and of course they got the government to extend the copyright term whenever the copyright on their brains of the stories were about to expire.
Thank you thank you so much I really really like the Enchanted Forest. And like you said can't beat the price. Thanks for taking me along. Safe travels and don't forget to hug Jax.
When I lived in Oregon, went by there but never went in Enchanted Forest. Thank you for showing what is there. At 5:40, that is Rip Van Winkle not Old Man Winter. At 15:18, the birds singing in a pie is from the nursery rhyme "Sing a Song of Sixpence". You can Google it if you're interested. Some of us older people might remember it.
Yes, they do. I was there last Christmas and was able to bring food in but I also found many healthy and affordable meals inside the park as well, which surprised me!
We went to the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame and our AC was not working so we brought our Kitty in her stroller. One of the door people made an announcement on the walkie on our way in that there was a service cat entering the premises. So cool!
Thanks Eric for taking us along w/ u,that was Awsome, made me feel like I was actually there w/ u dude, I,m a kid @ heart when it comes to theme & Amusement parks,& the Woody feel in some parts of them, I love haunted houses as well,U & JAX Have a Safe Boondocking & Travels,Much love to u both.
If you are ever in PA need to check out Knoebels Amusement Park. It is a small park that has no admission and you buy tickets or a wrist band for rides. Pets are allowed. There is a campground connected to the park with no hookups and their full hookup campground is a few miles away. Right along the same lines as this one.
Looks like a great little park Eric! Great video! We are originally from PA. If you get that way soon, I'll tell you about another great family park that's shady and free parking and free admission!! Always went as kids. You'd LOVE it!!! Still go there when we go back home.
I swear I’ve been here when I was very young. We went to enchanted village in federal way when I was a kid. Then six flags jacked the prices up. I don’t think it’s 6 flags anymore but I haven’t been since.
The log ride reminds me of the one we have in Nashville at Opryland USA years ago. Definitely a timeless treasure from days gone by. Good memories. Thanks for the video.
You found the ultimate mix of quirky and creepy at Enchanted Forest. Log rides are so much fun especially the one at Knott"s Berry Farm. Your happiness is contagious. Love frisky Jax.
Jax makes the videos; seems like some people only watch just to see the shenanigans & adventures of ol' Jax yet those of us who are Jax Fans also like to see the quirky stuff too :)
Almost like going back in time to when nursery rhymes and stories were cool. Loved this place and I hope it survives the test of time. Kids today want flash and boom but places like this are way better. As far as the oops that some are pointing out, who gives a shit, its not gonna change anyones life in the grand scheme of things....at least you are out going and showing these unique places to us. Hugs to Jax!
I live close to Lego Land and IMO..this park has more valued entertainment than Legoland for half the price. I hope the owners can continue on for generations to come this 'Enchanted Forest' without the crazy prices for families and kids of all ages to visit. Thank you for sharing.
This video definitely makes me want to go see EVERYTHING. I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST FOR LITTLE KIDS.... will be going to check out soon THANKS for this video
I’m spooked. I’m in Indiana and I bought a deck of cards at a thrift store from enchanted forest. I didn’t have a clue what that was. Then tonight I see your video. That is just plain wierd
i think it's worth a mention that the park was very well maintained...no peeling paint. they care about the experience more than the almighty buck. rare these days. don't think you will see this, but for anyone on road, google for Army Corps of Engineers campgrounds...always nice, cheap, and mostly on water.
I don't think that was old man Winter; I think he was supposed to be Rip Van Winkle, the character who fell asleep in the Catskill mountains. Thanks for taking us along on the journey. (I think Jax was pretty perturbed that he didn't get to go himself. LOL) Safe travels, Eric and Jax.
The TV show, Ghost Adventures is airing a show on The Enchanted Forest being haunted and also maybe being a portal of some sort on The Travel Network right now just in case no one has heard. I remember you having a few questions on how well suited this place was for a "normal" kids amusement park :)
Thanks for sharing bro . Like someone says in the comments lots of these kinds of places have closed . Its sad to that most state run parks have closed all over the USA
FYI the magnet is not a hologram - it is lenticular. A hologram is a 3D representation of an image. A lenticular image is a way to view several images in the same space depending on what angle it is viewed from. A good common example of a hologram are the ones on many credit cards, since they are very difficult to replicate.
I remember enchanted village in Federal Way...Point Defiance had a kid themed area as well, I think that is long gone. The statues used to fascinate me when I was little! That was a fun theme park, thanks for sharing it!
Hi Eric, thanks for posting this...I don't know how many times I've driven by there over the decades of my life and always wondered what it was all about. Safe travels always. SJ in Olympia.
Really fun. I so enjoyed this amusement park. This is one of those not over the top fun ones families can enjoy. Lots to do but doesn’t break the bank. Lots of fun things and going on the rides with you and watching the water show was awesome.
Awesome, Eric. Thanks for taking us along! Actually, The Enchanted Forest is really haunted and Ghost Adventures went there and did an investigation. Check it out. It's really an interesting episode! Love you and Jax and safe travels!!
Snow White was written by the Brothers Grimm and published in 1812. They also wrote Cinderella, The Frog Prince, Hansel and Gretel, Rapunzel, Rumpelstiltskin, and Sleeping Beauty.

Nomadic Fanatic congratulations! You are great to watch!
need to do a update video on solar and propane usage
The Enchanting Forest is adorable and perfect for families because of price. Seems like something from the past that feels quaint and you can walk around and enjoy it with your family without a mob. Disney is way over the top and to commercial now. Thank you and I had fun watching it.
Eric your camera work is the best on TH-cam.
Cannot tell you how much my husband & I enjoyed seeing this little family theme park! It brought happy memories of taking our now grown daughters to Santa's Village in the San Bernadino mountains.
Thanks Eric your the best tourist guide ever. Very few of us English can afford to visit America.

What a wonderful ride down memory lane! My dad took me there when I was a young child in the 70s.
In all the many years I've driven up and down I-5, I confess I've never noticed that place! That was a fun visit, thanks!
It's amazing to think the owner is the creator of those characters and made them himself! Great place for the kids to have fun and spark their imaginations!

grimm i like that

Love you and Jax,
Safe travels! Maureen
Back in the 70's Enchanted Forest was always advertised as "Seven Miles South of Salem" My kids when they were 7 always begged to go. We did. Those kids are in their 40's now. Thanks for the memories, Eric. :)
I've lived in Salem for almost 15 years and have yet to visit. It's literally only 13 minutes away. Thanks for sharing, Eric.
What an awesome place Eric. Thanks so much for taking us all along! Loved it!
I'm not an amusement park guy but that is a cool place. Thanks for sharing
"Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" was written by the Grimm Brothers in 1812.
Finally something Disney doesn't own!
Nice 👍
what are you talking about... none of their stories are original. Most of their success is from existing fairy tales.
I love the kid in you never change ❤️‼️
Hi Eric & Jax. Thanx for fun at The Enchanted Forest.
It's a shame, parks like that used to be all over....... not so much now
Disney is the Walmart of theme parks.
This family owned theme park was wonderfully done and maintained. I am amazed that places like that still exist. What a find!
I think "Old Man Winter" is actually Rip Van Winkle.
Snow Whits is a Grimm fairy tale . Disney just made a movie of it .
Just as Disney continued to assimilate other public folklore and made it their own. Oh and of course they got the government to extend the copyright term whenever the copyright on their brains of the stories were about to expire.
All the visuals and you finally gave us the dramadic sounds... This new adventure is going to be awesome... We need more...!!!
Thank you thank you so much I really really like the Enchanted Forest. And like you said can't beat the price. Thanks for taking me along. Safe travels and don't forget to hug Jax.

That was such a COOL PARK to go!! Definately on my list when our RV is done!!!! You were so FUNNY Eric!!!LOVES/HUGS to you & Jax!!!
Thanks for taking me along for the ride.
I love that you make sure to add in all the shots of Jax.
“We still have to get you certified as a service cat” at the exact moment he takes a swipe at your hand with those claws! Hahaha
Branden Stangle Actually, Jax is declawed.
Such a fun place. On a side note: Disney parks do allow food, you can have a cooler with bagged ice.
Yes, they do. I was there last Christmas and was able to bring food in but I also found many healthy and affordable meals inside the park as well, which surprised me!
eh who cares lol
Took my son's Cub Scout troop there 25 years ago. Happy to see that it's still going strong and that you had a fun day! Thanks for a great video!!
Enjoy the quirky places you find. And Jax’s is adorable
We will have to look for the Enchanted Forest when we are up in that direction. Thanks for the tour. Give my love to Jax.
What a really fun place and lots of good Jax footage!! I very much enjoyed this video!
"Four and twenty blackbirds baked in a pie..."
(I forget the rest of it, but that's where those birds came from!)
We went to the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame and our AC was not working so we brought our Kitty in her stroller. One of the door people made an announcement on the walkie on our way in that there was a service cat entering the premises. So cool!
That park looks like a ton of fun. I really liked this video. The way you filmed it, i felt as though i was there. Thanks Eric.
Thanks Eric for taking us along w/ u,that was Awsome, made me feel like I was actually there w/ u dude, I,m a kid @ heart when it comes to theme & Amusement parks,& the Woody feel in some parts of them, I love haunted houses as well,U & JAX Have a Safe Boondocking & Travels,Much love to u both.

great park
The tunnel on the log ride was filmed as if I were sitting in your seat! So nostsligic, what a fantastic find!
This has been a while, but Camo Dave said that you were one of the few people who always looks happy!!! And I agree!!!
Looks like a great little park Eric! Great video! We are originally from PA. If you get that way soon, I'll tell you about another great family park that's shady and free parking and free admission!! Always went as kids. You'd LOVE it!!! Still go there when we go back home.
I haven't been here since I was a kid but I remember it always creeped me out.
That place is incredible! We lived in Oregon for 5 years and never stopped there. We will next time!

Been eyeing this place since the 70s. Never went in. Thanks for the tour!
Such a nice place for being privately owned.......keep finding those little gems!!!
I agree it’s nice to see a family owned park that is so busy! That bobsled went pretty fast 😳 give Jax a pet ❤️ from us
Jax makes the videos; seems like some people only watch just to see the shenanigans & adventures of ol' Jax yet those of us who are Jax Fans also like to see the quirky stuff too :)
When you're in the Midwest check out Holiday World in Santa Claus Indiana . It's family owned also .
I remember going to Enchanted Forest as a little kid. Totally creeped me out!! Lol
I LOVED Enchanted Forest! Thanks for stopping there and giving us a sample.
Two whole kibbles = empty!!!
Almost like going back in time to when nursery rhymes and stories were cool. Loved this place and I hope it survives the test of time. That was such a great video Eric. Really enjoyed it. Wow Jax looks so healthy and perky
Very similar to the "Enchanted Forest: Water Safari" we have in upstate New York. Brings back memories of my childhood. Thank you
You need to come to Pennsylvania to check out Knoebels Amusement Resort, Hersheypark, and Dutch Wonderland.
That little park was so cute! Shared with my son that lives in Whidby Island to take his kids sometime!
This video definitely makes me want to go see EVERYTHING. I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST FOR LITTLE KIDS.... will be going to check out soon THANKS for this video
I always drive by that place, but never stopped in. Thanks for the tour!

Great video, thanks for introducing Enchanted Forrest, we will sure check it out. Jaxman is looking handsome.😻👍🏽
Eric that was awesome especially how you took us on the rides with you. Your videos are so fun thank you again for a great adventure.
Cool park Eric. Thanks for sharing!
Congrats on 200k brother.

My first visit to Enchanted Forest was around 1979 or 1980. Then my friends and I dropped acid there a few times in the early 90's. Fun place :D
Eric is the only youtuber that I like the video before I even watch. I already know every video is going to be amazing and so much fun!
Cool little family park. Looks like a fun day.
Cute video👍 Mr. Jax is looking good as always😉 Safe travels to you both 👍🇺🇸
Two polydactyl cat thumbs up. That was FUN! Thank you, Eric. Safe travels to you and puddy kitty Jaxman.
Seriously thank you for taking us thru this park.... have driven by so many times and just ignor it... it looks quite fun!
200k Congratulations
Snow White was written by the Brothers Grimm and published in 1812. They also wrote Cinderella, The Frog Prince, Hansel and Gretel, Rapunzel, Rumpelstiltskin, and Sleeping Beauty.
I’ve passed that place many times and wondered what was there. Now, I no longer need to wonder. Thanks!
I see you hit 200k ..... good for you Eric!
You’re fun, Eric and Jackson! Thanks!!
That was a amazing place thanks for taking us with you
200k subscribers congratulations
Great video, your vlogs are so well edited and polished. 👍
The best edited videos online .
Went there back in the 70’s when it opened. Neat place.
We had a deer forest in coloma Michigan, closed but never forgotten.
