I wish I wasn't dealing with so many personality problems because the best I could do was to be nice back, but they really deserved to make a lasting friendship. Such good people.

My wife and I did a tour of Peru visiting many of the sites you're going too and you're in for a treat! It's an amazing country and the closest I've come to living out an Indiana Jones fantasy, I still remember cresting a peak on the Inca trail and seeing ruins out in front of me. The first time you see Machu Picchu through the clouds is pure magic too.
Please make the ayahuasca retreat an annual thing. I can't go this year simply for lack of funds, but it is something I've wanted to do. I have been struggling to work through the grief of losing my best friend to suicide, and reading from the experiences of others looking to come to peace with that grief is something I need to do.
I love the inca culture, they created so many awesome structures but most importantly, crops!!. They breed the potatoes and tomatoes plants, peanuts, bell peppers and more!
They cultivated over 400 different types of potato, ya know. At Pisac, they had entire terraces dedicated to experimental farming and cross-breeding of corn, quinoa, and other staple foods (but mostly potatoes, because potatoes are the fuckin' bomb)

There are also many local plants that will also aid in acclimating!
One of my nieces went there and hiked the trail as part of a Spanish immersion semester. She went back several years later and took her brother. It changed them both at a deep level. I have lung problems so won't ever go, but I'm glad you had that experience.

He studies specifically the teeth of those found to help figure out the age and potentially tracing relations and genetics and whatnot. I've heard talks like involving Machu Picchu countless times on talks he's given on campus, specifically the era of the Moche and most recently talked about child and llama sacrifices. Human osteology was crazy to have him in class for, and its crazy he teaches at just like one of the small off hoot campuses of Purdue.

My mother is Peruvian and around the time you posted this video I just got back from visiting Perú with my family and seeing most of these exact same sites (Pisac, Sacsayhuaman, Machu Picchu, and Ollantaytambo). I'm so excited to hear what you have to say about the beautiful ruins, and to see you learn about the culture of one of the most present indigenous peoples in the Americas, and the culture that my grandmother was a part of. I can't wait! ¡Viva Perú!
Holy shit this looks amazing. I started getting into archeology after playing as the Incans in Civ 5 and wanted to learn more which led me down this amazing rabbit hole. Seeing an opportunity like this in my grasp is mind blowing.
Dude !!! As a mapu-chileno-australian obsessed with indigenous west-coast south american archaeology, man i wish i could go. the october 1-7 tour runs through my birthday and it would be a beautiful way to spend that day in my home continent being exposed to the history of our people. Much love, Milo, thank you for exposing our culture like this huon

Love your work, buddy! Dead jealous about where you are going..... amazing places, each with their own unique and awesome attraction. Just wish I had the youth and funds to do the same, so a million thanks for sharing this with us all.
I've been to Peru three times. Once to Iquitos for a trip down the Amazon. Once to Lima to check it out. Finally a trip to Machu Picchu. *I highly recommend the food!!!!!* Peruvian Ceviche is THE BEST!
I wish i had the money for this!! And also the time as the dates are in the beginning of my academic year and I'm starting a new bachelor (communication linguistics with a focus on journalism). Can't wait to see the videos though!! 😊😊💗
The ceremonies are unbelievable ive done it both ways and it was a stunning experience and it helped me alot to change some traits i really didnt like about me Its great if you are ok with letting yourself just go and are open to new and different feelings, ways of vision etc
Honestly, after watching Indianna Jones as a kid, this project is basically a dream for me. Wish I was old enough to travel on my own and join this project.
Looking forward to your take on Peru! You might be interested in checking out Mike Haduck's channel for an expert stonemason's demonstration of how the stones in Macchu Picchu and the Egyptian pyramids were cut and transported using copper and granite tools, the same as those in the Egyptian museum. His family have been New England stonemasons for generations and he has been a stonemason since 1969. His channel is just his name, Mike Haduck. Watching him demonstrate the same granite and limestone cutting techniques that the ancients used is positively eerie, even though he obviously lacks the fine technical skill that the Egyptians and Sudanese journeymen of their day gained from experience over years of doing such work daily. I bet those guys were well paid. Slave labor, my sweet patootie.
You’re traveling the world to show actual archeology and I’m fully here for it!
As much as I wish to return to the chalk board this series has been really cool

I'm so excited to hear what you have to say about the beautiful ruins, and to see you learn about the culture of one of the most present indigenous peoples in the Americas, and the culture that my grandmother was a part of. I can't wait! ¡Viva Perú!
Holy shit this looks amazing. I started getting into archeology after playing as the Incans in Civ 5 and wanted to learn more which led me down this amazing rabbit hole. Seeing an opportunity like this in my grasp is mind blowing.
Living the dream man, I love your channel and love your videos!
I can't do it this year. But being on one of your trips is now on my Bucket List
Awesome! Love your content, I am so glad you are coming!
Seeing all your travel videos gives me so much Fernweh. Thank you 🙏
MILO STOP I'M BROKE
Nah for real though, so proud of you and everything you're doing!!! You are an absolutely amazing representative for the field of archaeology, and all you do is so appreciated
He looks like he’s the main villain of a new far cry game in the thumbnail , he’s taken over Peru and we have to stop him from unearthing archeological discoveries to fund his regime
He's evolving. In Turkey he was the protagonist of an adventure archeologist video game, this time he's the antagonist 😂
I’m so happy for you!! I really wish I could join in person but I’m excited to still watch from where I’m at!
Wonderful!
Dude, you are doing such great work! Thank you for sharing your passions!
Love your work, buddy! Dead jealous about where you are going..... amazing places, each with their own unique and awesome attraction. Just wish I had the youth and funds to do the same, so a million thanks for sharing this with us all.
pleased to hear about the San Pedro part, it is a very important aspect of Inca and human knowledge.
Love this so much. we only ever see articles and photos of these archeological sites. Now we can get never before seen videos!
I can't wait to live vicariously through you.
I can not wait!! This is going to be an amazing series!
I've been to Peru three times. Once to Iquitos for a trip down the Amazon. Once to Lima to check it out. Finally a trip to Machu Picchu.
*I highly recommend the food!!!!!* Peruvian Ceviche is THE BEST!
I haven't been but got to enjoy the food and I agree!
Happy Peru Independence Day 🇵🇪 🎉

I wish i had the money for this!! And also the time as the dates are in the beginning of my academic year and I'm starting a new bachelor (communication linguistics with a focus on journalism). Can't wait to see the videos though!! 😊😊💗
Congratulations man I’m so excited!

The ceremonies are unbelievable ive done it both ways and it was a stunning experience and it helped me alot to change some traits i really didnt like about me
Its great if you are ok with letting yourself just go and are open to new and different feelings, ways of vision etc
I am 🇵🇪 peruvian And make me happy to learn my Countries acolygical history.
Im really excited for the future of this channel. Milo is still so young and I hope he keeps doing stuff like this for a long time
Honestly, after watching Indianna Jones as a kid, this project is basically a dream for me. Wish I was old enough to travel on my own and join this project.
Thank you Milo for carrying the archeology scene on youtube .Love from Greece
Last year I went to Peru and it was AWESOME
I’m sure you will enjoy it
Looking forward to your take on Peru!
