Sony who invented the El cassette format tried to push the format and establish a standard. They sold them to other makers with different branding.
I only ordered two and because I was a top seller I got preferential pricing. I ordered the EL7 for myself and an EL5 for a customer. I didn't se the format taking off because digital systems were overtaking them in specification. Nice video thank you from London

Nice production, I turn 63 next month, been into stereos since early 1970's and did not know these machines existed until 1 came up for sale last week on CL, TEAC AL 700, pricey, you can get a Pioneer RT 909 for what they wanted . Like Tape and hate LP's so of course I Like this.
