I have a number of Fellow products (XF & Carafe, stovetop kettle, and tasting glasses, and travel mug with anti-splash)…. I couldn’t agree with you more about the double wall carafe. It was a good idea, but could have been executed a bit better (I found it a pain to wash and dry by hand), and like you said, the fuller it gets… the warmer it becomes AND it does tend to slip down in your hand. But it works with the Stagg XF pour over extremely well (same with the tasting glass). I’m very much in the market for an Ode grinder (have a 1ZPresso JX hand grinder now I’m getting tired of using and it can’t really grind more than 20g at a time).
One point I will disagree with you on is what you said about the tasting glass getting very hot. I brew with it every morning and I use water temp of 200-205 +/-, the glass exterior gets a little warm, but I would hardly say HOT to the touch (the very top where all the glass comes together gets hot for a very short time), but that’s to be expected by design.
Suggestion - Take the other travel mug with the anti-splash lid and put it in the bag of the other one, I’ll bet it will be a close/reasonable fit. 😜😎
    Good video though

For the feedback the tasting glass is only too hot when I brew directly into it other than that it’s great and I love it! I tried putting the Carter mug with the anti-splash in the bag and it was just way too big in the mud just lit around like crazy I didn’t really give it a secure fit!

Cool :) question - just bought the Monty cups in blue with brass coating on the bottom .. they seem scratched .. do you recall if your black Monty cup base was smooth and free of scratches ?

Was fellew spelling error on purpose ? Wonder if that’ll affect your rank on search algorithm 🤔

Is the reason you think the Ode is only "OK" because it doesn't do espresso or is it just "OK" across the board. It seems interesting that you are so luke warm to the grinder when it was very close when you tested it against the Comandante C40. That is a little confusing.

I wasn’t a fan of the workflow knocker and it doesn’t do espresso. If you only do pour over is would probably be the way to go

@@CabeensCoffeeCorner Thanks so much for your reply. I had thought your thinking might be something along those lines.

@@CabeensCoffeeCorner BTW, just as a point of interest I actually got the C40 but find that my JX is close and so much faster and easier that I’m going to send the C40 back. I’m going to stick with the JX and get the Ode as my daily driver for it’s combination quality and convenience. (it’s arriving on Friday)
