I have watched everything you have done to bring me up to date. You have inspired me to purchase an old doll house myself. I am recently widowed and I enjoy your stories of your characters and your sweet Daddy. You are precious ❤
Hello Judith! I am so Glad you are enjoying this! I love the idea that you have been inspired and purchased and Old Dollhouse!( Old dollhouse restorations are my favorite)!! I'm so sorry to hear of your loss, i understand too well( me too in May 2019). I am happy to hear you are enjoying hearing about My Dolls lives! Thank you for being here and for watching! Take Care.
Also when you give advice it’s so kind and soothing. I don’t make dollhouses but it applies to so much and it makes me happy just to hear such a loving voice. Makes me feel like you’re my mom, or that I’d known you when I was little.
Why did this comment make me suddenly CRY?"Happy Tears "of course! But it touches me that you can HEAR ME beyond the topic of Dollhouses. In my Real life I strived to be the MOM, that I wish or wanted to have. This comment touched me on another level....Thank you!
@@littlegretchensworkshop7665 omg since the first video of yours I saw I had such a strong feeling about this. You’re always telling people it’s ok to mess up and encouraging them and all in such a kind soothing way 😭
This has the look of active creativity. My actual sewing room is a disaster at this moment…filled with several quilts in progress, Christmas gifts and crafts, paper and ribbons, my wintering geraniums and of course my helper Muffin, our kitty. I love the progress in your boarding house!
Aunt Bess and Aunt Janie must be creative types to work in all that chaos! 😄 Looks like they moved into their new sewing rom and got straight to work. 😊 The room is buzzing with energy, and I can almost hear the shears cutting through fabric and the hum of the sewing machines.🥰
Yes they got right to work! The men are a little concerned because there are so many things in dis-repair they are concerned about safety! But Christmas is too close for them to wait!
I love how lived-in your miniature spaces look. Each room is like a snapshot in time. That tissue paper pattern piece is such a small detail, but I love it so much.
Thank you Shyra! Sometimes i feel like I'm trying to re-create pictures in my mind, like memories that I want to preserve. It is so satisfying to see in front me what I saw in my mind. THANK YOU Claire!!!Isn't All the clutter the BEST!! I love making things look like there is LIFE going on, LIFE is Messy!!!! LOLOLOLOL!!! I appreciate you!!!
Beautiful! I could see that room filled with creative joy and busy hands. A song popped into my head at the beginning of the video..."It's my dollhouse and I'll play if I want to...play if I want to...play if I want to..." LOL I thought of you yesterday as I was placing a new 1:24 scale doll in my French chateau to see how everything worked in scale. Madame's 18th century gown is 2 inches wide. The staircase is 1 1/2 inches wide. I worked so hard to install that staircase but Madame insisted that she would NOT be scrunching up her gown to walk up and down staircases. So, I had to take a deep breath and remove it. After that I thanked Madame for her help and put her back in her little box to prevent her from making any other suggestions. LOL
YES Rachael Omgoodness!!! Isn't it amazing how the DOLLS influence Us??? I totally understand you having to put her away before she made any more demands! LOLOOL!!! Feels like home! 😍 The sewing room is definitely a room you can over fill with many accessories and details and it doesn't feel or look wrong. I love the ladies sewing room, some window treatments are really going to be the icing on this cake! 🥰💖
Thanks Jolene! it looks very familiar to me too! AND those window treatments are on hold due to the deadline to open the Dress Shop before Christmas!! LOLOOOOL!!

I wish is had learned to sew from her! Can’t wait to see the dolls in the sewing room- they’re going to be busy, you know! Hugs, Kathleen

Thank you for sharing your talent with us. So until next time God Bless you and your family and have a Blessed day and stay safe my dear sweet friend. ❤❤❤
Hello Gretchen, it looks amazing 😍, like they've just stepped out for a tea break and will be back at any moment, its just how I imagine a busy sewing room to look, I know when I used to make clothes for my kids and me there was fabric and buttons, elastic etc all over the room, I used an old treadle singer sewing machine (I didn't have an electric one at the time) my dining table was where I did my cutting etc, so the room looks very authentic to me, I love all the tiny details that bring the room to life, you are a fantastic miniaturist, and your attention to detail is second to none, I can't wait to see the dress shop in all its glory, with all the dresses and accessories on display. I'm looking forward to your next video, Best wishes from Yorkshire, England 🇬🇧
Thank you Diane! i am working from my memory of my Aunt's house! HER dining room table was the cutting table! There were clothes hanging everywhere, Finished and still in process garments! I love the board with the hooks and fabric swatches and all the machines and fabric look exactly how you explained it, as if someone has just left (my imagination tells me they are on teabreak lol) and/or are just about to come back. (I was thinking teabreak because they wouldn't be drinking tea or eating around all the beautiful fabric, so you maybe better make a designated tea room or set out a bit of another room where they can have a quick cuppa!).
