I have not lost any respect for Sapp. There must be some personal off the field issues we know nothing about. But Michael is a classy stand up guy for how he conducted this interview.
He was one of the greatest NY GIANTS, and he deserves to be in the HOF , more then some who are there, he was never involved in any controversy and he didn't use drugs or abuse women and commit crimes, unlike some who have made the HOF, even unlike some former NY GIANTS that the media and fans fawn over, MS is a straight up good guy and played with all his heart.

I don't like Sapp but he's right about the rock , first of all naming yourself the rock is an insult to Jesus the Rock of Salvation, but to be honest the rock's movies are boring as heck, he reminds me of Steven Seagal , he had a few good movies at first but then all his movies became monotonous , predictable and even childish. Michael Strahan should've been a first-ballot HOFer. He was a far better player than Warren Sapp. Sapp was good, but please. He wasn't better than Strahan.
Hannah Licht Nonsense. One can compare the performance of one player at a position versus the performance of another player at another position. For instance, who would argue against the fact that Jerry Rice was a better player than, say, Jack Youngblood? No one, because Jerry Rice performed at his position better than Youngblood did at his, and this is a consensus idea which is why Rice was named by the NFL as the NFL's all-time best player, and that selection garnered zero controversy. Most people agree.
Hannah Licht I don't "argue for the sake of arguing". GTFO with that garbage. Hannah, why don't you just GFY? How about that? 8 people agreed with my point. If you don't who cares? Go bother somebody else.
Strahan and Sapp have a history of bad blood, even back when both were playing. Strahan publicly dissed Simeon Rice, Sapp's former teammate with the Bucs. Its no secret Sapp and Strahan have never liked one another. I must question Sapp's motive though. Was he trying to irritate Strahan and put him on the defensive? Sapp should know that calling out Strahan, who has the New York media on his side, isn't a wise move.
96 career sacks for Sapp, Strahan has 141.5.....🤔. And why are we having this discussion?......I know, I'm 8 years late on a opinion, but this video just popped up on TH-cam and I didn't hear anything about it until now.....🤔
Strahan: definitely should be in the HOF. He's still making money and is still in the spotlight. Sapp is broke selling his shoe collection and a SB ring because he is in so much debt.
Sapp claims that the NY market made Strahan bigger than he is but the numbers don't lie. If you do a side-by-side comparison of stats, Michael Strahan dominates Warren Sapp in the stats that really matter. 854 Vs. 569 - combined tackles 141.5 Vs. 96.5 - Sacks Stats by ESPN.com ** So why is Sapp running his mouth??! Although both are worthy of the HOF (in my opinion), Sapp is an ignorant loud-mouthed hater. Strahan should've just killed the whole Sapp questioning before it even started. However, he addressed the issue in a classy way and made his point without sounding like a fool.
I'm a die hard Patriots fan since 98....and remembering that 92 in blue and white being a defensive anchor on that Giants team and also dethroning my 18-1 (07 Patriots)....Strahan was a problem to say the least lol. Hands down his resume is better than Sapp's..with all respect. Strahan's game was more strategic yet physical than Sapp's.

What Strahan said is so true for alot of people/athletes sports is all they have and is their identity you can tell the difference between football being apart of your life and it being your life
I grew up a Giants fan, Strahan was a beast of a player. Played the run as well as anyone could play it, was able to rush the passer as well as anyone could hope for and he defended the screen as well as anyone I've ever seen. Sapp pissed off that a 40th pick in the draft had a better career than a 12th pick, pissed off that Strahan played with 1 team his entire career and rode off into the sunset on top. On top of that, Strahan has made more money after his NFL career than he made during his NFL career. There are all the facts, Sapp should concentrate on himself instead of how others are doing...
Michael Strahan's parents raised him right, it shows in the man he is today. A man of class. God Bless You Sir!
His father was a Army major who dedicated his life to America and his family. Strahan is truly one of a kind. 92 is the reason I started playing football after his NFL record 22.5 sacks in 2001 he was all over sportscenter and they showed clips of him at practice and his personality is infectious.

No one, because Jerry Rice performed at his position better than Youngblood did at his, and this is a consensus idea which is why Rice was named by the NFL as the NFL's all-time best player, and that selection garnered zero controversy. Most people agree.
AllPro777 You are arguing just for the sake of arguing. Way to make a pointless debate even more pointless.
Hannah Licht I don't "argue for the sake of arguing". GTFO with that garbage.
Hannah, why don't you just GFY? How about that? 8 people agreed with my point. If you don't who cares? Go bother somebody else.
I ❤️ Michael. God is blessing him all up & though his life. People always have to try & belittle other. Stop the hating. BBlessed

Respect ✊🏿🤴🏿 Didn't get into no verbal dispute with ach. Trading word wars. Shalom✊🏿🤴🏿
Warren sapp had 2-3 hall of Famers playing around him and he is acting like a child calling stratham out .
96 career sacks for Sapp, Strahan has 141.5.....🤔. And why are we having this discussion?......I know, I'm 8 years late on a opinion, but this video just popped up on TH-cam and I didn't hear anything about it until now.....🤔
Dang it’s 2019 and strahans life is way better than sapp .. he living a good life right now.
GREAT response Mike, you was great at your position and the job you did, he is a SAPP, love ya Mike Strahan
Two guys that should be in the hall of fame are Roger Craig and Jim Marshall
As a Patriots fan Mike deserves to be there !!!!!!!!
The reporter sounds like an ally of Sapp's like he's on Warren's Sac
They both were beasts! Michael is one super cool dude also.
Strahan: definitely should be in the HOF. He's still making money and is still in the spotlight.
Sapp is broke selling his shoe collection and a SB ring because he is in so much debt.
sapp was never broke
WOW!! What class and composure and YES he did - he ABSOLUTELY TOOK THE HIGH ROAD. End of story.
Sapp claims that the NY market made Strahan bigger than he is but the numbers don't lie. If you do a side-by-side comparison of stats, Michael Strahan dominates Warren Sapp in the stats that really matter.
854 Vs. 569 - combined tackles
141.5 Vs. 96.5 - Sacks
Stats by ESPN.com **
So why is Sapp running his mouth??!
Although both are worthy of the HOF (in my opinion), Sapp is an ignorant loud-mouthed hater. Strahan should've just killed the whole Sapp questioning before it even started. However, he addressed the issue in a classy way and made his point without sounding like a fool.
Sapp was a DT. C'mon man.
Freddy Franco
Two different positions man, DT is much harder to sack and get ints. Sapps number are great at that position
You just explain why
Well spoken man. This man understands what life is and what it is all about.
Sapp has been out of the limelight for a good while maybe he needs some attention.

I enjoy watching Strahan in all the things he accomplished and still soaring higher n higher..
Yea with all those accolades he’s definitely “all hype”
Michael Strahan all about good attitude and humor. Keeps winning.
SAPP IS JUST MAD THAT THAT HE DIDNT GET THE SACK RECORD WHEN HE MADE A PROMISE THAT HE ( SAPP) WOULD.
Which one stayed on one team? That’s the hard part. With a reasonable ring. Deserves his respect.
2 superbowl rings 141 sacks 15 years ... Well then I like Mr Strahan see you in Canton
Two I think he only won one.
Bruce smith got 200
Two
He was excellent against the run also, only a handful or so defensive ends in NFL history that are better than Strahan.
Nah Strahan got one ring in 2007, in 2000, the ravens mauled his giants in the SB. Any how Strahan deserved the nod to HOF.
One of the most well liked, and well *respected* guys to ever play the game.
Strahan should have been the 1st ballot HOF before Warren Sapp hands down!
What Strahan said is so true for alot of people/athletes sports is all they have and is their identity you can tell the difference between football being apart of your life and it being your life
Media trying create news and division.
Kovačević Dobrina oh stfu
I grew up a Giants fan, Strahan was a beast of a player. Played the run as well as anyone could play it, was able to rush the passer as well as anyone could hope for and he defended the screen as well as anyone I've ever seen. Sapp pissed off that a 40th pick in the draft had a better career than a 12th pick, pissed off that Strahan played with 1 team his entire career and rode off into the sunset on top. On top of that, Strahan has made more money after his NFL career than he made during his NFL career. There are all the facts, Sapp should concentrate on himself instead of how others are doing...
That reporter that said Michael sounds angry screw for stirring the pot
No...he's smoking pot
Right??
Ken Fluellen 😁
Strahan got 22.5 sacks in a single season. Sapp lost all his money. I’m rolling with Strahan in this one.
