Again...simply wow. Thanks for sharing. I have not got over the Mustang yet. Ford truly messed up when they failed to keep putting money and R&D into the Mercury brand imo. I miss them...and I don't mean a Ford with different badges, lights, and grills...true Mercury.
Again I always look forward to these shows but they are never long enough. Why didn't they make this longer and go into more details about the cars? Hmmm.
Absolutely beautiful 50 Marc. In Canada we had the Monarch equivalent to the Merc. I sold my 49 Monarch, 4 door "suicide" doors . It had 37,00 miles. It was sent to Denmark. It drew a lot of attention at shows.
The 70s Lincoln would be a great driver. The Jaguar, a great good weather touring car. The Rolls, deserves to be in a museum. The 68 Lincoln would be at the top of my restoration list. This also, a 4 door convertible Lincoln, a great parade car.

That little white car is the same kit company as my Cobra: Classic Motor Carriages out of Miami. When you got the parts from the crooked bastards they're actually really stout and good kits.
The Merc brings back some memories for me - in the early 50s my dad drove a Monterey EXACTLY like the one shown. Black, butter colored roof and ❤ He was a builder and his company was named Monterey Construction.
..so it's a 1950s Ford Mustang owned by Henry Ford because which you know to be correct because someone wrote Henry Ford with a permanentl marker on the rear of a valve cover... haha The other car has 14k miles on it.. Why don't you drive it...?
I'm interested in the story of that purple LTD convertible. In the mid-70s I worked as a mechanic in a local gas station and the owner's wife had about the same car, a 1971 LTD drop top with a white interior, but hers was painted pink. They had it done when it was brand new. I wonder about the story of the purple one.
That old chap needs to get rid of some of the boats in his fleet to be able to focus on fixing some of the rarer and more desirable cars. Trim some of the herd my friend! Redirect the profits and give your yard some more space lol
It'd be awful hard to be Henry or Edsel's considering both of them died in 43 and 47. The "second" which makes no sense either since they skipped generations. Too bad all of those GM's aren't full sized.
It's actually a gated community on the east side of Detroit close to the riverfront: you can see the canal behind the house in one of those shots in the video. If you use Google Maps satellite view, you can actually see the house with all the cars parked in the driveway!

I think it's a real shame and a great injustice to the beautiful collection of malaise era cars this man has aquired. Those jag v12s run beautifully. When they run.
Inline 6 is where it's at boys and girls. Ford or GM, both are very reliable, some power, and better gas than the SB & BB V8.
