  • Still not quite dredging season yet. So we are tuning up equipment and bolting on upgrades while we shoot the shit and goof around.

Good video, shows how easy it is to install one of these heaters. I work on the Fortymile near Chicken AK and have one of those exchangers on my 6 and another one on my 8 inch. Been using them since 2017 with no problems. It's like being in a sauna all day.

Awesome guys.. new sub here.. Dan is a great guy. We got one too but haven't had the chance to test it yet.. just an idea for the insulation u was talking about we use a couple pool noodles for our big dredge on the air lines to keep them from rolling and tangling might be something to try on the hot water line and zip tie the air like to the noodle too keep everything from tangling. Or even hvac pipe insulation. . Never know until u try. Heavy pans guys

We are concerned about adding additional drag and water resistance to the lines because of the speed of the water.

Dry suits a winner but hot would be a nice option Arrr

New to dredging, but zero expirence with the hot water recirc system... I am however a plumber, and I would be curious if adding some sort of air bleader vent might help in the event of steam as well as alert the attendent that somthings wrong... what is your output size?
Also not sure if you're planning to, but maybe I'll see yall at crow creek this memorial day weekend. Happy hunting

I’m not sure. I’ll have to do some research. Thanks for the tip. We aren’t sure what we are doing for the holiday weekend.
