Your video is very relevant to me as a traveller cause I can see real time what’s going to be the weather in Japan now. So it’s kinda hot maybe I need to prepare something light for my travel this coming August 30-September 2, 2024. Wohoo 3 weeks to go and I’ll be in Osaka again 😊
Rion, thank you for your informative and very entertaining videos. I will be in Japan next year, and I'm getting so hyped by watching you! You're the best!!!😅
Your small slip-ups, from wrong turns to missed buses and even the mishap with the overly hot food or forgetting to shake the matcha, were endearing and amusing. Your videos are not only informative but also fun to watch! Cheers to more virtual tours! お疲れ様でした Rion !🥳
Rion, I recently arrived in Japan through Haneda airport and it was so cool to see the places you showed in your video! I had to stay at the royal park hotel at the airport and take a Shinkansen to Himeji to see my friend. Hope I might run into you! Have a wonderful summer and keep making amazing videos! :3
Going to Osaka very soon! Flying this sunday, and will be the first time there! I can't wait! how busy do you think it will be around Nara and Denden town?
It must have been a hot journey for you to get to all of the spots you visited. Here in New York it's been humid and just getting around is hard. The station towards the end of the video resembles the exterior of Yankee Stadium at first glance. Also I have to admit that I too am surprised when a new store or restaurant suddenly opened(feels like it) and I didn't know that.
Rion’s content really resonates with me! It’s great to find someone whose passion comes through in their work. Keep up the great work Rion! I always look forward to you sharing your new adventures.
Very good to see the Kingdom ads. I'm looking forward to watching the Kingdom film, sadly I have to wait until bd release. Kindom is my long running favourite manga. 😎😁
I saw the orange juice machine in Tokyo too. Vending machines seem more expensive indeed. Missing the Onigiri but I have recipe and will make in my hometown of NY. LOVE your videos and me and my kiddos are missing Japan already after staying for 17 days. ❤🇯🇵
I always enjoy your Osaka walks for they are so vivid. In spite of such a hot day the streets are crowded, archades even more, for a lot of people try to escape the heat. Not you, dear Rion, for you are obviously a true summer guy. Wow, Kyoto is next to be visited. I just wonder if it is overcrowded even in this hot summer.Let's keep walking and see! Gaaaooo.....
When we went to Tokyo last year, I tried the Orange vending !machine as there was one in Akihabara. Can't remember how much it cost. It was nice but you don't even get a full cup so wouldn't have it again. We are going back to Japan next year, to Osaka this time, so nice to see it in this video.
Awesome Osaka summertime adventure! I would love to visit your hometown, maybe soon and bump into you! Oh my! maybe Kyoto would be more crowded now with tourists? Gaoo🦁
Hi Rion 👋 😊 Japan is so hot in the summer ☀️ I've been there in August and to be honest, not going to do that again! 😅 Oneday I'll visit your hometown of Osaka too! I've never been so I will ok? My mama in Yokohama wants to go Okinawa! Any plans on going there? I'm planning to go maybe in 2025? Anyways, I really hope to run into you somewhere in Tokyo this fall! 😊❤
Thanks for the video Rion. I would love to see you do honest reviews of viral food from social media. I will be back in Japan soon and would love to know what is worth the hype. Thank you!
I am unable to find your previous livestream on Osaka, the one that you accidentally ordered white fish for lunch in TH-cam, has it been removed? Anyway, this is an updated video on the present Osaka before I come over in March next year. Good job! Am choosing a hotel in Osaka now. Let's keep choosing...
Hi Rion :) thanks for all the good videos! For me, it's fantastic information! We are going in oktober to Japan and You answer a lot of my questions! Hope we meet! :)
That plaza in front of the station looks really nice. I love Japan so much, but think that Japanese cities could learn from some of the plaza and pedestrianization projects in Europe.
Hi Rion. We like watching your videos, but was wondering why you don't do videos of non-tourist areas. Why not show the town you are from? You don't have to show your family house but just do a tour of the neighborhood. Try it and see what kind of views you get. Just a suggestion, arigatou.
@@Theguywithephonyname It doesn't have to be rural. There are so many small towns within Tokyo or Osaka or any of the other cities. I've noticed that Rion keeps going back to the same places and just suggesting going off the beaten path once in a while to show another side of Japan and not just the tourist spots.
Kamukura is the new ramen shop at dotonbori ? Thanks for this info. I will try it when I comeback to dotonbori. And try hawaii burger at namba station.
Hi Rion… a subscriber from Singapre to your channel. Thanks for making great videos. I will be going to Osaka for the Yodogawa fireworks festival this weekend. Any spot to recomend to view?
24:52 Kinryu Ramen is a tourist trap. For the first time in my life I am unable to finish a ramen. There are so many good ramen within seconds away from the store. Don't get fooled by the dragon popping out of the wall.
Thank you for your great video. You make really great videos, and some from Osaka too🙌. I'm looking forward to the next ones. But I have a question: Does summer in Japan start at the end of July or the beginning of August and how long does it last? Thank you for the quick answer.😊✌️✌️
Hi Rion! I am staying in Osaka with some friends in November. Do you feel like Airbnb in Daikoku area is ok near Daikoku station? Or unsafe? Choosing Airbnb soon and was curious. Thank you!
Hi Ron, Good day. One question though, somehow related to the video. Here it is. What train to take from Namba (coming from Kansai Airport) and station to get off nearest to Ebisochu? First time to stay in that area. The last time was on the other side of Nipponsbashi near Super Tamade.
@RionIshida thanks for the reply. We'll be at the Namba station coming from Kansai Airport. I know Ebisochu by walking from Namba/Dotonburi area, but with 2 heavy luggages, I thought we might need to take a train. Which train, what route and where to get off the nearest to Ebisochu is the question. Anyway, trip is by December so lots of time to prepare. Thanks again!
At around 31:25 of your video there was a guy with his girlfriend behind you, he made some kind of gesture and the girlfriend slapped him(so funny!). Really like your vids Rion, keep up the good work. Suggestion: I was wondering if it were possible to have the small map that you put up(once in a while) to show where you are to be always on & shows your movement as you walk around in real time?. I think this would be helpful to everyone understand more where exactly you are going. 👍
I want to say that you live in Tokyo and Osaka, so you should have a lot of ideas for recording videos, but every time I open your new video, it is the place where you have shot it again and again. You are a native of Japan, and the scope of your videos is wider than that of tourists. Even less. Generally speaking, your video is really not innovative or targeted. It's just a street walk over and over again, which is super boring.
Oh stfu let’s hear your Japanese. He has really good English for a non-native speaker. Maybe you should focus on your own English; you should have said “pronounced as…” not “pronounce as…”. Rion’s English is better than my Japanese friend who has lived in America for 20 years. R + L are hard to pronounce for Japanese people.
Love seeing Osaka through your local viewpoint!
Very comprehensive video. Useful guide for our forthcoming trip. Thank you.
Natsukashii naaaaa! I miss Osaka. Lived there for 2 years. Thanks for the video!
Thank you for another adventure! Looking forward to the next travel video, let's keep walking!!
Rion, thank you for your informative and very entertaining videos. I will be in Japan next year, and I'm getting so hyped by watching you! You're the best!!!😅
Your voice is so soothing, and the smile and laugh- I’m lovin’ it! :-)
We never got to visit Osaka this July definitely next visit we will. I love your city Rion thank you for this video. Arigato gozaimasu!🙏💜
Never gets old watching your walking tours of Japan! Thanks for taking the time to make these videos!
You're making my mouth water while you eat that yummy seafood bowl Rion. 😋😊❤️
Your small slip-ups, from wrong turns to missed buses and even the mishap with the overly hot food or forgetting to shake the matcha, were endearing and amusing. Your videos are not only informative but also fun to watch! Cheers to more virtual tours! お疲れ様でした Rion !🥳
I will stay at Shin-Imamiya again 1st August, for the 5th time since 2016.The Scenes are so familiar! Thanks for share!
My biiiiig pleasure! ^^
Cute song 🎵 I was looking up the recipe for the Onigiri and didn't realize there were so many songs written about it. ❤🍙🍘🎶🌈
Btw you guy's have the best coffee and love the cafe coffee shops 🥰❤️☕️

So many stores. So many restaurants. So many people. Sugoi! Arigaougozaimasu, Rion, for this enjoyable Osaka walking tour. 👍
Great video Rion. Looking forward to more!
Love the claw machines there. In Akihabara we won a lot of prizes we had to buy an extra luggage 🧳 😅 ❤
Love Osaka very very much! Thx for showing us Rion ❤
we are coming to japan in 2 weeks and your videos have help so much in planning our trip thank you for the videos :)

I'm happy to see this video. Love it
I hope you show us a few local areas in Osaka where there are little to no tourists just like what you did in Tokyo local areas. Keep walking! Gao!

Rion, I like you're videos, especially the updates to most tourist spots and please make a visit in Central Kobe. I don't see much vlog in Kobe.
no wonder you are different from tokyo people, so friendly and talkative!
As a One Piece fan I thought „Denden Mushi“ was a word that described the snail telephones 😂
Yay to new Osaka video! Orange juice in Singapore from vending machine is S$3 = 300 yen :p Let's keep walking in Osaka!
@@christycpark some place is SGD2 only 😁
I'm not crazy about the crowds like when we visited Sensoji Temple in Asakusa

yes please Rion
Because there’s nothing near. Usually only convenience store
He should do rural japan

Local spots would be awesome. Back in the days he did that! That’s how I visited ‘maguro park’ a huge tuna / fish market outside of the city!
Thank you from Canada
Departing for Osaka tomorrow for a week. Cannot wait.
Hi Rion while in Osaka try the Shogun burger it’s right in Dotonbori 😁😋
16:48 🎶👏😂 Please keep singing~ 😊🐌✨

For a Sunday generally the crowd doesn’t look too bad

Hi Rion, I will be going to Osaka - Kyoto by end of October. What would be the best transportation should I use to go around the city? Thanks!
Vending machine drinks in West Kansai area usually 140, 150, 160 yen even at tourist attractions. There's even 100 yen & 110 yen. Very rarely 200 yen.
24:52 Kinryu Ramen is a tourist trap. For the first time in my life I am unable to finish a ramen. There are so many good ramen within seconds away from the store. Don't get fooled by the dragon popping out of the wall.
Hi Rion, will be in Osaka in September hopefully the weather will cool dow. Can you recommend a nice wagyu restaurant? Thank you
I hope Tamade Supermarket won't increase prices😢
Hi rion,we have that orange juice vending machine in Singapore and it is only $2
Hello! Can I ask where to buy Japan Ryujin Nippon support shirts in Osaka area? Or any Japan Olympic support shirt^^ Thank you!

@@RionIshida nice, thank you🤘😄

I enjoy your videos 👍👍. I have a question, are there Deli stores in Japan making sandwiches such as hoagies and slicing luncheon meat? 👍🎉

我也刚从京都回来
Hi Rion. Not sure if you were there yesterday. But I think I saw you at arashiyama?
Yes I was!!! I was filming the next video! ^^
Interesting about people with tattoos are normally not allowed in Onsen's. Is it because of "infection control"?
Can you make Kobe trip
i know denden mushi from One Piece!
Yesss!
100 ep a year
do you have any videos that show hostels?
On the contrary, I prefer the non touristy places not being featured so it doesn’t get over crowded when I visit. 😂
Wow cheap barber!❤

The japanese alphabets don’t really differentiate between L and Rs so Japanese tend to pronounce english words the way he does ^.^
haha, Arigatooo! I will try! I can never pronounce of "World" correctly neither, I will try my best😇🤣
