This is all good and all correct for those starting with MGM Pearl and wanting to match at the other properties that are listed. For those starting with Caesars Diamond, you will want to start with Wynn for the status match and then make your way around status matching at the other places mentioned.

1. Caesars credit card or military = Caesars Platinum
2. Caesars Platinum = Wynn Platinum
3. Wynn Platinum = Fontainebleau Gold AND MGM Gold
@@JacobslifeinVegas I didn't even think about Caesars Platinum, but you're right. And it would be even better because you can match a whole tier higher at the other places than you could with just starting with MGM Pearl.
@@JacobslifeinVegas I feel like a whole new version of this video needs to be made for this- it's not hard to get Caesars Platinum and you get $150 dining credit/$150 spa credit for Fontainbleau Gold instead of $100 dining for Fontainbleau Silver (among other perks like resort fees waived)
The Caesar-Wynn tier match is the biggest leak in the whole system and gives you pretty much everything else you need.

WOW!!!!! now THAT was an awesome video. Good stuff to know. Now you need to do the same video with Caesar Rewards cards. Such as free parking with Diamond status and they waive resort fees with Diamond status. That would make for a great video. I noticed there are NOT many videos with Rewards cards. Another great video could be Explaining how FREE PLAY works when using Rewards Cards such as MGM, Caesars and Grazie(Venetian Hotel). There are probably several more rewards cards but I don't live in Vegas to know them all. lol Way to go Jacob!!! Awesome video! Thanks for sharing.
freeplay is essentially a balance that covers your losses while you have it activated. if you have $100 in free play, every spin that loses is recredited to the machine balance.. until that $100 freeplay balance runs out

@@msway836 I'm assuming they mean they booked at Ex with base status, upgraded to Pearl while they were there, went through the steps to reach MGM Gold.. and then presented this new status on checkout to have their resort fees waived ($37/day)
Hey man question, supposedly wynn wont accept military Cesar’s card, did fountaimblue give you a hard time for having the mgm military card?
@@alix1493 if you have the MGM Military card you can just go to a kiosk and get a new Pearl card printed. it won’t have an indication that you earned it by being a vet. I don’t know if this is the same for Caesars

Yep, I figured this out a couple of weeks ago and immediatley booked a trip for May. Got my mom in on doing it too, haha.

Thank you Jacob for another great informative video as always! Definitely will be tier matching MGM Gold with my Icon Hard Rock status first to get free resort fee waiver on my booking at Bellagio. Fontainebleau and Wynn. Bummer that MGM tier matching is only 90 days compared to the others…. Surprised Caesars isn’t following with a Tier Match of some sort
The 90-day MGM tier match is annoying, but I was checking and you CAN satisfy the 50k tier points in 90 days challenge via their Daily Tier accelerators. So, if you can manage to get 20k tier points in one day - via a combo of gaming, hotel folio, spend, etc. - they'll double that to 40k total. Do that once in the 90-day period and then should be able to hit the challenge. You'll then have Gold through Jan 2026...
I have MGM Pearl status and I'll be in Vegas is 3 weeks. I am DEFINITELY taking advantage of these "perks"!!

As others have mentioned this is actually the more optimal way - Start from Caesars Platinum which can be obtained in the same ways as MGM Pearl. Caears platinum to Wynn Platinum, Wynn Platinum to Fountainbleau GOLD, Fountainbleau Gold to MGM Gold. Difference being that you get Fountainbleau Gold rather than Silver.
What if I already have lower existing rewards cards for Caesars and MGM, can I still follow this path?

Don't go enough but great info. It's like an Algebra problem, step by step to a great rewards.
My mom and I just went down and did this we had an amazing blow out meal at Don’s prime with our $300 food credit. It was incredible and only ended up costing us $25 a person for the tip!

If you book a stay at an MGM property through a third party (let’s say Amex) will they waive the resort fee if you present a gold card at check in? Or does the no resort fee only apply if booking direct through MGM?
I’ve been a mgm sapphire rewards member for years and you just convinced me to apply for the credit card screw the 2,500 they approved me for I’m more excited to try this out and the free parking at mgm properties 😂 I’ll be there in 2 weeks to try out the tier matching

As a side, if you happen to be a Royal Caribbean cruiser and have at least Platinum status (30 points at 1 point per day cruised, double points for suite or solo), you can get MGM Pearl to start this matchapalooza.

I was able to show my veteran status and get MGM pearl as well as Caesar's Platinum last week! I didn't make it to Circa unfortunately but maybe in a few months I can work on getting the rest of these rewards cards matched. Thanks for the tips!

Do I have to visit the casinos to get my upgrade or can I do it remotely? I just applied for the MGM Visa and expect it in a week or two. I have a trip planned to a MGM resort in early June. If I have to visit the casinos, can I get the benefits of a Gold MGM while I am there assuming I do on the first day I am there? Thank you! Of course I plan to pay my hotel bill and charges on my new card for 3X points.

Also you can get MGM Pearl and above by matching to your Royal Caribbean Status. I did it last week via email, it took less than 4 hours to get upgraded.Great video brother as always!
Fontainebleau match ends too soon for me. I visit in June or would do it in a heartbeat. Already have Pearl at MGM through the military.

Sounds great, but as a Canadian, do not qualify for the credit card. I lost my Pearl status and am back down to Sapphire. I have an upcoming trip in June. I have a MGM, Cesears, Wynn, Resorts World player"s cards already, but all at the lowest level. Any advice for me to move up my status in June?
I took my pearl card to Fb in Feb. and they told me you have to be gold to tier match. Guess she didn't know what she was talking about. Now I gotta fly back yo LV to get these tier matches!

I just came back from the Wynn they told me it was a 7 day wait period to be updated and use the bday and spa credits. I match my Caesar diamond card.

@@angelo8807 I already had Caesar's Diamond from the Wyndham credit card match. I parked at the Fontainebleau, which is free for four hours. I walked to the Encore and matched there for Platinum Gold. Then I went to Resorts World and matched to their Monarch. Then went back to Fontainbleau and matched to their gold. Then went to the Bellagio (I parked at Paris valet with my Caesar's Diamond card) and went across the street to the Bellagio to match for MGM gold. I did not have to get the Pearl card first. You can also self-park at Bellagio and they'll give you a parking pass to use when you leave. I think I have the order right. Just follow exactly how Jacob did it. If you match Caesar's to Fontainebleau first, you will only get their Silver status, which means less food credit, etc.
If you get to FB by 11, you can get a free coffee.
I got all of my cards immediately. However, they said that some of the benefits won't kick in for up to a week. But all of the actual matches and cards happened immediately.

Mirage got smart and took away the food credit. The only major casino left that isn’t tier matching is Venetian. Hopefully they offer it soon

My 2 cents. Fontaine Bleau has to step up on their status match as they match Caesar’s Diamond Plus to their Silver whereas a player can match Caesar’s Diamond Plus to Wynn platinum then match Wynn platinum to Fontaine Gold.
Unless Fontaine rematch my status, I would not be giving them a try as I matched to their silver already. Seems Fontaine does not value Caesar’s Diamond members.

You mentioned MGM Gold gets you Sahara Iconic. Fountainebleu status matches Sahara Iconic to Fountainbleu GOLD now so this can open another loophole path since you do not have SILVER anymore?
Fontainebleu says existing customers can match so in theory you should be able to even though you already have a rewards card. Unless if its only a one time promotion. Wonder if someone can test this out

I've always wondered if an authorized user can gain Pearl status on an MGM credit card.
Does this mean your status strategy that started at El Dorado ( Station Casino) is no longer valid? You seemed to get good matching all over on that vid.
Correct. Since that video, Station Casinos no longer offers the credit card for automatic Platinum status anymore. Caesars ended their agreement with Founders Card and also changed the agreement for the Wyndham Business credit card-now you need to reach Diamond Status with Wyndham to match to Diamond Status with Caesars.

Most hotels WILL waive the fee's and taxes even if you have already booked and are currently staying!

I was staying at Park MGM with pearl level. I was upgraded to the platinum status. When I left four days later, they did not remove my resort fee. Maybe I had to ask to have it done.
I was also staying on a comp. That might have affected it.
Simply ask for management during check in... let them know how much you have spent.. they will always upgrade your stay... with all benefits
