Many people have advised me to work abroad since my job as rad tech according to others earning a high salary. At first, I was thinking about this advice but later, my love for my country prevailed. I want to enjoy my culture and the surroundings which I used to live in since I was a child . I don't want to be deprived of my life as a Filipino. That is why, I prefer to stay in my country rather than taking the rest of my life in a place which I never used to live in. Now, I work in a government hospital here and even, my earnings are not as high as what they earned abroad.But still, happiness in my heart and contentment prevail.
Because there are no job opportunities in the Philippines the government is relying on OFWS!! But really, we are hard working! Yes, they are good workers!
what makes me sad is Filipinos are so warm, kind, and welcoming to others then have to experience racism in other places mentioned in the video. As a Filipino, I've lost count of so many times I've experienced this while just minding my own business. it's very disheartening and down letting knowing that others don't really truly like you.
