"Oh no, there goes west Soho, go go Ms. Gorgo..." Love this film I saw it again on Creature Features. Next I want to see those slurpasaurs from 1960's Lost World.
Awesome review, Andy! Since seeing the movie in the theatre as a little kid, "Gorgo" has been my all-time favorite giant monster. I just ordered one of these beauties from Titanic Creations!
Oh, my God! The figures of both Gorgo and Mom Gorgo are gorgeous! And I LOVE the Big Ben, it's a very badass accesorie and pretty well done in details.
Oh, I had to preordered this because Gorgo is such an underrated kaiju that having a figure and accessories was a no-brainer and yep, Titanic Creations didn't disappoint they did a great job. And I agree they should tackle other not so well known movie kaijus like the Rhedosaurus from Beast from 20,000 Fathoms or heck Reptilicus.
Mine is on its way and I can't hardly wait for it, especially after this review. I am also excited about their announcement of a articulated Titanicus. I thought that it was supposed to have light up eyes, but I guess glowing eyes will use less batteries. LOL Great review.
How about that, they finally release an articulated figure of GORGO. I did hear that the same director who brought us The Beast From 20,000 Fathoms & The Giant Behemoth was going to feature GORGO as a Stop Motion Creature or 2, but at the end they decided guys in BIG Runner suits. I might get a DVD as a Halloween Horror Special. As for this figure, I’ll have to think about it someday in time.
I love the packaging and the sculpt. The articulation is good but my knees/ ankles/ toes are so loose it makes me not want to handle the figure. I realize they are not a huge company but it’s hard to justify the price when you consider what you get in the $50 price point from Hiya. I appreciate their effort, but the value for the money isn’t there for me due to the excessively loose joints on my copy.
My joints move really well but I don't think I'd consider them "loose". I've heard some others say similar things about the concern of them becoming loose over time. I'm not too worried about it as I have other much older figures That Have joints that feel the same way and still stand perfectly after twenty years or so.
Nice!
Love Gorgo!
It's one of the first Monster movies to have a happy ending.
Amazing ! Titanic Creations hit it out of the park with this Gorgo set.

I believe Titanic Creations also has a larger, non-articulated Gorgo statue in the works as well.

@@andysdinosaurreviewsDefinitely not the experience I’m having with mine. Going to have to tighten the joints up a bit.
Isnt this the British Version of Godzilla though?
The mother’s name is “Ogra”, Yeah, “Ogra” not “Orga"
