20x8 what tire will stage 2 stretch
Good looks would be having the rim lip flush with the tire, not protruding from it as if "hey, I outgrew my pants". This simply looks bad, not even cartoonish.
Okay im type confused a tad....so I'm running 295 25 28 tire size on my set of 28 inch rims so to achieve a stage 2 on a set of 28 inch rims what size tires should I purchase?

The key to perfect fitment is running the widest tires possible. Not the narrowest.
sdfbtnsfgd If your tires rub then you don’t have perfect fitment, if you have to stretch the shit out of your tires you don’t have perfect fitment. Perfect fitment is about having as minimal as a stretch to your given size and not rubbing. Stretching tires to a wheel that is far too wide looks stupid unless the car is laying frame static, on a car with bags they look ghastly when aired up to driving height because they only try to get “good” fitment slammed.

The key to perfect fitment is simple. Choose the correct offset with the widest wheel you can get so that you can run a wider tire so that you can have the near perfect camber.
and one that doesnt require fender modification unless your going widebody

Your right it's a preference choice I used to love stance but having my setup eat tires kinda drew me away from it, but at the same time building a track car or racing a car also ruins your tires lol I guess we can never win lol

Their is a benefit to a bit of stretch and thats is that the tire sidewall will resist rolling in on itself better when hard cornering. But you should not do excessive stretch. You dont want to reduce too much performance for looks. My preference is a mild sidewall stretch looks good and your still have a wide tire for good grip. The thing is kids dont have a limit and its dangerous, especially when combining way too much camber and skinny tires that are barelly touching the road and your car has too much power with bad handling.

The Key for perfect fitment, is to NOT stretch tires, it's ugly and not safe
this was all an accident in the 80s. wide tires were very expensive so they used the next tire the could get to fit the"DEEPs" i had 15x10s in highschool tires were over 100 each so probly like 300 each these days

If they are only for looks and decrease traction, does it mean "camber" is for ricers? I think they only look good if your car has a widebody or if car's wheels aren't completely at an angle.

X X if you google your wheel specs and different tyre sizes you should find pictures of the set up you’re looking for and you’ll get an idea of how it’ll look, tyrestretch.com is what I use

I run a 205/40 R18 on my E36 and it tucks nice under my fender. If you want pics I could email you what they will look like.

kamaljit uppal well the 215 35 is not a big stretch to be honest. Just on my car they tuck perfectly under the fender when I hit a bump. But that's my car tho
There is a performance benefit when you stretch your tires. That's why racing setups stretch slightly. Correct me if i'm wrong but that's what i've heard.

Ya i got the same wheels, 10.5 +25 rear 9.5 +25 front. And i'm running 275's in the back and 245's in the front, for michigan roads this is the SAFEST stretch I'd say lmfao

You can only build a car on what you can afford. I had real BBS style 5's then switched to ESR's because I wanted to get a new look and yes they are more heavy and probably not at strong as my BBS or the work equip rims they are styled after but I don't track my car so all that light weight and strength isn't needed in a daily. But at the time that's what my budget allowed me to buy so I got them. I'm not gonna buy a set of rims that cost more then how much my car is worth lol
