Thanks again for the invite that was fun and very different. I don’t think I’ve ever fished open water in the middle of February.
It was a good day! I’m interested to see how the next couple months play out.
Someone in this boat watches Milliken fishing. Ole ‘Waller Gina’ 😂
@@robertwilliamson6958 I thought I was the only one who caught that 🤣
@@AnglerX I'm excited to get some rapid BIG FISH action days in!
I’m an “MF”er 😁
Thanks for the ride along, enjoy the perch/walleye and smalleye.
I appreciate the comment!
The ice is still solid where I live. Thank you for the excitement for spring fishing!
We should be ice fishing but Mother Nature is in control.
You guys did awesome, glad you see you back on the soft water
The soft water is where I belong. Thank you Nathan!
We fished it Friday and Saturday and the weather was brutal however Sunday the bite turned on and we absolutely crushed them.
Choo-choo train bite never fails!..😅..nice mess of fish!..
Looked like a great day on the water. I was able to get out on Mark Twain Lake in NE Missouri last weekend for a beautiful day of crappie fishing and brought some home for a fry. I may try the river later this weekend and see if the walleye are biting.
I’ll bet you have some great crappie fishing there. Did you get white or black crappie?
Every one of them was a white but they have blacks too.

Nice walleye and nice perch. That's a good day.
They were snapping pretty good. Especially in the morning.
Very cool day, those were some great fish. I enjoy watching your part of the Mississippi.
Thank you! We had a blast fishing a new area.
Enjoyed the video as usual. Always fun when you do well on new water. TIGHT LINES
Thank you Chuck!
That first nice one was a sauger.

Love that place!
It’s a fish factory!
Ahhh I know the area good job
Thank you!
I find red horse to be a great fish to pickle.
I’ll have to try that!
By far the best fish to pickle in the river!
What's the fishing rod brand and where are they made , do they have a website ?
Radcliffe Custom Rods made in Wisconsin. www.radclifferods.com/
Great video. Question. Whats the advantage with the yellow line? Thanks in advance.
I use the yellow line as a visual indicator. When casting I watch the line to go limp indicating that the bait has hit the bottom. I’ll then lift the jig again by reeling or lifting the rod and wait again for it to fall back to the bottom. I repeat this sequence all the way back to the boat. When a fish strikes the line will jump and it’s very easy to see with yellow line. Also, in low light or night fishing the line glows with very little light.
We're you over by Clements barge.
We tried there but no luck.
I understand it’s your TH-cam channel, but does DWS ever catch any fish in your boat? If so, do you ever show him hooking up?
Dave catches a ton of fish. We try to focus mostly on our own catches so that each one of our videos has different content.
How do you like t Pacifun reel? Is it the 1000 carbon x ?
Love them! Carbon X II. 1000 series on my perch rod and 2000 on my walleye rods.
What size Picifun reel are you using?
Carbon X 1000 for the perch and 2000 for the walleye
You know you were talking about cold hands... why hasn't someone made a fishing pole with heated grips??
That would have been nice to have.
What pool are you fishing?
Are you on lock and dam 8
He’s in Genoa
Which dam was this?
Looks like Genoa

What size Picifun reel are you using?
