    I cant wait until this is all put together and broadcast on TV, ch5 or BBC, it's been really great to see this over the years and would truly be great viewing on TV for all those people that didn't know this was going on. Thanks again lads!

    Another fantastic video from Beachcamsman and Jack. To bring a project of this complexity to life, with so many stakeholders and restraints is very very impressive…Jack is a credit to BAM, and his enthusiasm, professionalism and knowledge shine through in what he describes as waffle…I will be visiting again in the next two weeks, and am looking forward to seeing the final refinements. No LTI’s against the hours worked …. A testament to a safe project managed well and completed by safety conscious workers, thanks once again for the great series of highly informative videos….Roger B Long may Jack continue ‘ waffling’

    Jack and Neil: This has been an amazing project for us to follow over the past three years. More so by Jack's talented technical guidance step by step throughout and Neil's video coverage of it all. Thank you Jack and thank you Neil for all the work you two have done for us onlookers.

    A tremendous project done with precision. Lets hope it lasts well over a hundred years now. A cracking team of workers. Also many thanks Neil for recording it all for posterity, a superb job all around. It really feels totally solid as i found out last year. Five star. 🎉

    Another brilliant presentation highlighting this truly amazing project with all its difficulties and regulation constraints. Many thanks to all involved and Coast cams for bringing us this fantastic visual record of the work involved. We have been truly spoilt by Jack giving us such detailed explanations of not just the technicalities but the context of the work involved with suppliers, stake holders etc. You both deserve awards for your enthusiasm alone never mind all publicity of the project.
    Many many thanks.

    Very enjoyable thank you both. A huge difference for most people but for disabled a huge amount. Well done Jack and the hard work and planning by yourself and the orange army , Look forward to seeing it all when we come down to Devon for the first time this year in May. Our family were there at Xmas , and said it looked good, we were all very sceptical.. but it looks good I am told.

    What’s next to be started or completed on this mammoth project, and when we look back to all that devastation caused by the storms this project wouldn’t have been started had the sea not washed the line away

      It was mainly on the pins connecting the tracks which corroded leading to pins fracturing over time and tracks coming loose, also a nightmare for electrical wiring

    Two questions:
    1. Why wasn't platform one extended to match platform two so the long trains don't have to hang over the bridge.
    2. Will the old bridge be taken down.

      @pamelawhite3709 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Is there a reason why the boathouse could have been taken apart and rebuilt on the projected out bit? There seems heaps of space. Or Even at a new location. Seems a total waste to lose that history.

    • @philtucker1224
      @philtucker1224 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Probably would need to be recreated by a charity funded project I expect.

    When are British Rail going to paint that bridge? It lets the whole project down!

      Knowing a little bit about maintenance schedules, it’s probably part of a rotational maintenance contract, often (typically once every ten years for instance) - as part of a completely separate programme..
