I've been playing Big Bands lately - I'm 68 and I want to hear what I dipped my ears into as baby- now I'm excited hear the leaders of modern music (hurt my leg but I choreograph great in my head till I'm better!!)

Almost a quarter through the program and enjoying the selections. Many I recognize as the big American bands but a few are new to me. Will there be examples of the southern bands that came out of the Americas below the USA? There must be some. It would be great to hear what they sounded like especially as only certain types of non-usa music gets broadcast and seems to be more USA lounge music style.

Most big bands are from the 30'/40' decades. Green Miller's own band disappeared in a plane crash in 1944.
