I just saw Aliens earlier this afternoon at the Regal Cinema Theater in Cortlandt.

I imagine this was a great watch in a theater!

@@survivorspecialists It was a great movie better than Twisters by a mile however theater was good but a little outdated not as up there as Showcase Cinemas or especially the Alamo however it is way better than newly opened Apple Cinema theater in downtown White Plains.

I respect that we all have different tastes.
But we need to talk about the Bond films you chose, John.
You Only Live Twice and Goldfinger? Please.
On her Majesty's Secret Service was Lazenbys only Bond film but my goodness, its phenomenal. Dalton is incredible in both his films but The Living Daylights is also pretty much perfection for a bond film. I would say Craig's films are worth a second look as well (not Quantum of Solace or No Time to Die though) if we're putting any 007 films on the list.
To give John some praise, Scream at 41 is bold, but I dig it a lot. Peak 90s horror that both influences the future and draws from the past re: slasher films. It's my number one rewatch every October.
Everybody wants some!! is a fun movie! But what the hell guys lol.

I can only speak to Everybody Wants Some!! Easily one of the most enjoyable movies I've ever seen. Have watched it closed to 20 times since it came out lol. I have my Bond ranking on Letterboxd!

@survivorspecialists Everybody wants some!! Is a ton of fun, but I didn't come away feeling it did much different from similar ensemble coming-of-age comedies. Hot take, but I'm putting something like Super Bad in it's stead and not top 20. I'm probably showing my age with a pick like that, ha!
I don't have many personal qualms with your Bond list, just some nitpicks Id chalk up to preference-the Roger Moore movies are right where they belong, for sure lol
      Appreciate the pod and discussion!

In all seriousness: more Korean movies. I heard Parasite but no Memories of Murder? Bong Joon-Ho’s best film, easy. Also Train to Busan is the best modern zombie movie ever and I Saw The Devil is the best revenge movie ever.
I’m telling you, Korean cinema fellas!!

The Last Jedi is the worst movie ever made. John can’t keep getting away with this.
