No! Lol. This is now the 4th video that I’ve watched. I’ve been washing my hair for 25+ years and I’ve never knew a special conditioner was needed to deep condition,m.
I am a stickler on deep conditioning. Sometimes I'll use regular conditioner and then use a deep treatment mask for extra moisture. This low porosity hair is a struggle at times.
I got that idea from jeanette j beauty channel about leaving the conditioner on and then adding the deep conditioner or mask and it does help alor because you aren't struggling to separate the hair to apply the mask/deep conditioner and you use less or it💯
@@missladyzee44 when you hear just the word “conditioner” that’s is to be considered a “rinse out conditioner” meaning you leave in it up to 5-10 minutes and rinse it out. A “deep conditioner” is something that is supposed to penetrate your strands and are typically on for “10-30 even 45” minutes. You can do ether or after shampooing. There is no need to do both in one wash day.
What you said is so important, the first five ingredients in a deep conditioner is the most important. If an important ingredient is way down at the end ....that's a sign that they just put a pinch of that in the deep conditioner 🇹🇹
I'm 28 and I have no clue how to deep condition my hair thank you for this video. My hair grows so slow but it's never grew past a certain point. Now I've changed some things 2 years ago my hair has past my previous length but it's stuck at my current longer short state. My sister said to deep condition my hair and as I said I don't know how. I said all that to say thank you for this video.
Deep conditioning is my favorite part of my wash routine. It took me a while but I learned what types of DC's to use when I needed them. This was very important and informative!! Great video!!
Quarantine has been good to ur hair! She is flourishing! I'm transitioning and been in plats and bonnets between washes. My new growth is BLOSSOMING! This style u have here, is my first length goal. I'm gonna look for a length check video, but if u dont have one please post. There should be a quarantine length challenge. How much length can we get during the shut down?
I don't usually comment on videos but this is seriously the most helpful videos I have watched so far (I am basically addicted to watching videos on how to better my hair). Thank you so much for the tips. I love your hair🥺❤
TFS! From all the conditioning methods, I also noticed that sitting under constant heat when the hair is sealed in a cap is the best for me so far. I feel like a protein/moisture balanced products are the best away to go. Shea moisture would always have protein in their products, I never understood why and when I got rid of the products, my hair was thrown off. That protein-free wave is of the devil lol..... Tracking what you use and the differences in your hair is key!
Great video Gina. Your hair looks so good here-it’s like the perfect amount of definition and volume. And it seems to be growing really well too. What day hair is this?

I haven't been one to DC (haven't found anything that wowed me), but this video helps to explain what I need to look for in a product. Helpful. Thanks!
Hi, I don’t have a hooded dryer or deep conditioning cap. So would it still be effective if I just put a shopping bag (grocery bag) on my head then blow dry it? (With the bag still on)
🇬🇧🙋🏾♀️Can I ask, where it is that you purchase deep conditioner, that accepts the return of the used product if you don't like it 🙄 I'm trying to find one that works for me and its expensive 💷 😑
Watching this, I realize I need a hooded dryer. I usually have to deep condition with a plastic cap and a hot towel, but it takes forever to penetrate.. and that's using miche products. Any suggestions for an affordable hooded dryer?
How do you know the difference between straight moisture vs protein based DC? Are there ingredients that differ between the two types? Also where do hair masks fit into the mix?
Bailey Boys to me deep conditioning and hair mask are all the same. Just another marking ploy. You have to learn your ingredients to help determine if it has protein it. Some companies make it easy and tell us but others don’t
I feel like you should have a series of videos like this more often I mean your video are always great no doubt but this is slightly different because you age. A series. I enjoyed this content. 👍🏾👍🏾 your results are bomb 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Nice video. Can you do a comparison of the Mielle hydrating conditioner and the Miche indulge since they are both moisture deep conditioners? Only if you already have them of course. Thanks
I purchase this entire when it launch on ulta when it was 40% off at all to I just haven't used it yet. Fyi you're the second to review this line on TH-cam
@xoxomayy curlelia has a video for low porosity curls. It's called Why it's important to add HEAT to your deep conditioner & she gives 4 ways to do so. I've been using plastic bags & I never knew to add heat & I am also low porosity
Lexiss K. Shampoo when you think you need to. Everywhere Hair is different. I’m saying what works for me and the reasons why. Some people can go 2 weeks with shampooing
Please mind that conditioning does not penetrate your hair, only a chemical service can do that. It does, however, improve the outside and gives the look and feel of healthier hair
I dislike that mielle deep conditioner very much... Same as the white peony leave in 🤦🏾♀️ Just made my hair dry dry 🙄 Still used them till they finished though because 👀 my money💰!
It funny my daughter and I have similar hair & we're both low-porosity. Her hair loves the dc you used in this video. My hair prefers the mielle moisture/protein version.
Great video. We would love it if you would try our balanced all natural Moisture / Protein conditioner. It's ideal for deep conditioning just as you described and also helps treat most scalp conditions. Best of all it's satisfaction guaranteed. Great video. Thanks!

My favorite part of any wash day 🙌🏽 but I noticed my thermal cap is doing the same thing it doesn’t stay hot like it did in the beginning 😫
Very detailed video learnt a lot from this thank you🙏🏾
A friend shared that "God wants us to pour out of a clean cup not just a full cup but a clean one first"
Does sitting under a blowdryer while conditioning cause heat damage at all?👀
Great content, am still learning from you as a low porosity girl.
What about dry thick natural hair that gets flaky what kind of deep conditioner would you prefer and always dry ?
I'm loving this series and look forward to each part.

when u deep condition once a week do u shampoo or just wet ur hair and deep condition ?
you can just do it without shampoo, shampoo is stripping
You're supposed to
You have to shampoo first so that the hair follicles aren’t clogged and can accept moisture
Hey, how many times you actually suppose to do this to your hair?
First💖💯
Loving your channel, new sub💯
