They are very different rods, have fished extensively with both, very different rods in action. The bluefish is lighter but still strong, easy casting and a joy to fish with. The Precision offers better quality components and has a stiffer action, its a good caster if your timing is spot on and has tons of pulling power, the negative would be a bit heavier and a hint duller, not as sensitive. We will do a shootout later this year for sure, probably on all the rock and surf rods between 2k and 3k
I got the 9ft wave power for paddle tail a year ago, then my 11 year old son wanted it so I bought another one, then my wife liked it so I went and bought a R2000 shimano rod and they don't like it 😀
Just a suggestion. Get some sort of display in front of you guys and display the various rods in front of you or the table. To make them more visible so whoever is watching the you guys can see the rods and reels on display as well.
Which is better interms of blanks the okuma has a 24ton carbon blank where as the loomis has a 80% carbon composite blank, the composite blank for the loomis is throwing me off
Thanks very much. Love the wavepower and the small thin rod
It really is a beautiful rod my bud👍🏻🙏🏻
I use a 9ft wave power and its a great artificial rod
Agreed there- it’s an awesome rod bud💪🏻
My brother has the previous generation Wave Power. He liked it so much that he had all the guides replaced.
Really beautiful rods for the price, that’s for sure!
PLEASE COMPARE BLUEFISH AND PRECISION RODS
Will add to the list for you👊🏻

Thanks that would be nice looking foreward

lol… stick with what you know🤣
Appearance of both rods are different as well as the guides, however its probably the same blank, i assume
To our eyes. Probably yes
Yes, it does seem so🎣
The loomis surge. Is it a stiffer blank and how many guides are on the rods
Seems like it could be the same blank… sorry bud, didn’t count eyes🙈 will find out though!
@untraceablefishing thanks so much. I'm also thinking it's the same blank
Hey Fisho's nice reviews .
Thanks so much bud🤙🏻🎣

That’s why we try include photos of the rods within the video- reels normally on our turntable as well.
why type of distances are u guys getting out of these rods, looking to buy one
This is all up to you as the angler hey. But I reckon a good 80-100m cast is possible here no problem
Hi guys. I've got a precision 14.6, blue handle. I've used it once. Question? Why is the blue grip fading off?
That is strange- shouldn’t be fading.
Cheap Winngrip. They really kuk. But if u pull the winngrip off ,underneath that u will find it has the black Eva grip💪🏽
@@kumarannaidoo2786is this true?
@@untraceablefishingmine started fading after the second use....peeling off not just fading
They did change to EVA grip because of that reason. Seemed to vary as I tested the early precision and had no issues over around 3 months
I want to buy the okuma wave power. It looks really nice. Ill maybe save up some money for it😊
Very good rod bud, you won’t be sorry!
Do you get any of these rods in a multiplier setup
Hey bud
New Euphoria is coming out in a casting setup… must check those out when they land🤙🏻💪🏻
How does the Loomis Surge 14ft 4-6oz compare to the Assassin Equinox 14ft 4-6oz MH?
Not as good in my opinion, but both are great entry level rods.
Which one would you recommend?
@ equinox all the way.
Which is better interms of blanks the okuma has a 24ton carbon blank where as the loomis has a 80% carbon composite blank, the composite blank for the loomis is throwing me off
We may be wrong, but they seem so similar… for us, we would go loomis with the upgraded components.
Where can i find the wave power 14ft?
Available at www.shop.bilimoria.co.za
Hope that helps👊🏻
Cant wait😄
🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻
Nice intro
Thanks buddy
Anyone bought the Loomis surge 15ft , thinking of getting it with Azores 14000 . Is it a good surf rod for good distance?
100% a great combo you’ll have there. The colours will also pair up nicely!
Why you guys only concentrate on spinning sets? I want to see new rods for casting...
There is an exciting new one coming out- we will get to it😜😉
@@untraceablefishing hopefully been a while since new ranges came out. Will be keeping an eye 👁
@@kieronmoodley7526 wait for September🔥🔥🔥
Yes there are a few rods coming soon in casting models but sadly they are getting scarce
@donczns yes I have noticed, guess the demand isn't as great as spinning. Hope to see some good stuff coming soon without a crazy price tag
hi guys i am in the market for a new surf rod can't wait to see what's new 🤭
Awesome, hope you enjoyed this one🤙🏻🙏🏻
If you can budget around 2k the Okuma Precision and Assassin Equinox are fantastic buys at the moment
Hello guys
Hey Fisho🤙🏻
