Nice and quiet .....no vagrants or thieves hanging around and hassling you.....when we used to fish North Pier many many years ago you were surrounded by people problems 😊
Love you videos. Just a quick one, ever considrred throwing poppers there. My lure casting sessions in similar terrain i often start on top with poppers or plugs, then stickbaits. Slow pitch jigs and bucktails and soft plastics. Like to cover the whole column and start off ambitious. If you ever down East London area give us a shout. Don from Bilimoria Ps Mstrix action is good
Hi Don, I often throw poppers there with great success. Especially the smaller Halcos in Jelly Prawn color. The Gt's love it. But by far the most success you will have for all species is with paddle tails in various sizes. GT's, Kob, Snoek, Grunter, Shad, even Yellow tail and everything else in between. I am a HUGE stickbait fan, and that would be my second best lure to throw at North Pier. In particular in the past I have had good success with the Storm So-Run Bull Minnows, The Maria Duplex 65 and the Kingfisher Rattler 12 S in mullet color. They have landed more Gt's than I can remember.
Hi , i just wanted to ask about the okuma matrix. I want to throw spoons for Shad. Will this rod get good casting distance with a shad spoon? And overall what do you think about it for surf spinning?

I've got the 11 foot and its awesome, small fish feel big and I can still land big kingies etc
