i may be confused but what is the time line is "battle partners" coming out first or "the glory of team rocket" (aka what are the sets coming out in order)
I also said $200 was still a good buy point if you don’t have any at all, and PC still had ST at $143. Booster boxes tend to exchange hands a lot when it’s first making the first climb, but then eventually all the short term holders sell and they are either opened, end up in PCs, or will start to concentrate to the long term holders and whales who do not need to sell. “F” block of SWSH is going to rotate out of competitive play and will no longer be reprinted, so the long term holders will be the only suppliers onto the market.
My concern is The Glory of Team Rocket set coming later this year. If Surging and Prismatic have sold insanely fast back to back, I could see a Rocket set being as hard or harder to get at retail
I feel like a lot of sv sets that haven’t been reprinted yet there’s a good chance some won’t be with all this demand for these new sets might be good to stock up now on all of them
Honestly some stuff may get cheaper. As soon as the market turns everyone that is primarily concerned about the value of these items will consider them a toxic asset. Just like in 2021 evo BBs went to 1k then they corrected to 800-900 The hard part is knowing when the market has topped. Because if fusion goes to $700 then the market cools off, it might only correct to $550-600. But it's a waste of time to try and predict the future top of the market. So I agree that if you want SWSH BB you might as well grab one now. How long market positivity will last is a great question. This market seems more genuine than 2021, it's not as strongly correlated with sports cards, the products seem better this time around. The last market fell off hard when battle styles (a set that at the time was regarded as mid) hit stores with a hefty supply. Plus everyone ran out of stimmy check money. I think the end of this pokemon market positivity might be more likely to occur due to an event outside of Pokemon. Someone more broadly related to the general economy. Surely the US government will facilitate a crisis that requires more QE in order to lower their debt. It'll probably happen alongside an election cycle also. I think the market will crash before that and then surge during. But that's just a theory 😊
It’s all going to crash once all the new people who recently joined realize the hobby is not for them. Only thing causing these prices to surge is the massive FOMO coming from all the newcomers. 2 years down the road I bet evolving skies will maybe be 1.1k
@compsigh9275 Depends what you consider a crash. I think it's likely that it'll drop back sharply but still settle higher than it was pre boom. Same as COVID.
I see around 18-20 cases. 120 BBs. You wait 10 years and they are all at least 1k, thats a guaranteed 120k, some will be 2k if not all of them, thats 240k (and probably more). You are guaranteed to be very wealthy in 10 years but it will most likely take less than that just looking at FS. Anyways I have a similar amount invested in Pokemon and this is the way I think of it.
@JoshGreaves-or1wyno it won’t lol, a large majority of newcomers will drop out of the hobby. FOMO will be gone and prices will drop to correct for that.
There's this other small channel (Mitch Catch Em All) I recommended he clear his unorganized collection then redo it with main liquid product similar to how you (and I) did. I BELIEVE my comment was deleted. Let's erase criticism so people watching can make the same mistakes I did. 😂 I recend this negative comment if there are any misunderstandings.
Yeah that battle set looks like trash man. First set I skip in years. 3 yrs. I'm saying that with what they have released obviously which isnt a lot but still doesn't look good.

If it's within your means, it definitely pays to just get at least one booster box of every set.

Happy new year vapor! You know it's a good market when even Darkness Ablaze is going up. I want to know who's buying that crap.
Happy New Year Monkey! Yeah everything in this market is moving up.

Yeah right lol, so many of the newcomers who caused the price surges due to FOMO will drop out of the hobby. Prices will stagnate

All the ppl talking down on any set better keep that energy and don't touch it!!!!!!! This hobby has no room for all the money hungry bozos
Dude this is nothing compared to 2020 bull mkt
Lol. Vapor.
Shadowman
This bull market will go until at least late 2025
Obviously it's 2025 rn
@ why does the fact that it’s 2025 RN, mean that my statement about a bull market going on for 12 months, is obvious?
@JoshGreaves-or1wyno it won’t lol, a large majority of newcomers will drop out of the hobby. FOMO will be gone and prices will drop to correct for that.
@@compsigh9275 it’s all about momentum, and with rocket set coming out later this year that’ll keep it going for months and months
