Good job, very thorough. Ideally should’ve been wrapped in new Michelin PS4’s to finish the job off. Avons are mediocre. Keen to see the finished article. I’d recommend having the bumper off to paint (easily done on the e86) and to have the callipers properly removed for a rebuild / re finish 😃
Thanks! I agree re the tyres, but I've only had the car for about a month and these avons were new. I'll change them next year for sure. The next two videos in this series are a detail and caliper refurb 👌

Do they not do any hahdheld spot blasting to remove any last bits of corrosion in crevices etc? Also, my allows have large plastic centre caps covering the lug nuts - how are these refurbed as I didn't think you could powder coat plastic - do you need to spray paint both the wheel & cap to get a match?
Don’t the wheels from factory have a clear coat on them? If so, was there a clear coat applied when re-finished?

Carbon black metallic. Not sure of the exact code.

The best alloy wheel refurb company near me quoted me £75+vat per wheel so I just want to know how much such a complete job like this would cost. Thank you for your help.
