My husband father was diagnosed when he was 62, he decided to have radiotherapy and tablets, not sure what they were. Anyway just wanted to say he lived to a good age 94 yrs. keep positive, thinking of you.xx
Thank you so much, what a fabulous age.❤️. Thats great to hear, the stats they give are 10 years plus 3 extra with treatment, dont quite understand it but we know everyone is different. We are very positive about the future xxx❤️xxx
Just came, across your chanel today. My husband diagnosed in june this yr. His Gleeson score was 7 3+4. He can't have the surgery, currently on hormone treatment, awaiting radiotherapy. He's really positive , he didn't have, any symptoms, it,showed up in a blood test, psa. Your so right about the C word, many think it's a death sentence but not necessarily so. Wishing you the best x
Hi Sharon, thank you so much, sending all our thoughts and best wishes your way. Its a complicated diagnoses, no one the same but yes its so treatable, keep us informed. Hope all goes perfect for you xxx

When you said "I'm quite well apart from ....... and ........" it did ring bells because I think once we get to about 65 these things start to happen to the best of us and every 5 years starts to make a big difference. Anyway all the best going forward - onwards and upwards as they say.
Thank you so much ❤️ It kinda hits you gently that you are getting to an age where things are wearing out but it doesnt register until theres a problem. But yes definitely onwards, all good and looking forward to the next chapter 😊
Hi Mike, 👋, nice to see you to see you nice 😊😁. Good that they got it early. You'll be fine. Keep staying positive and cheery. Cheryl, stay strong. You need each other. Big hugs to both. Take care 😊❤xxx
Dont ever stop calling it Cancer. People need to know about it & it will remind them to do their own checks! Def the best option you have chosen I was diagnosed with bowel cancer at the age of 64 and didn't have any option - surgery was it! Offered chemo after surgery but it was such a low % improvement - 2%- thst i decided No. I would have been sick for 6 months after. I had no sickness or symptoms prior ( picked up by an over 60 poo test - so wasnt about to start. You will be operated on very quickly. I was. Keyhole is good as recovery is much quicker. But you must be positive to improve! Im still here 9 years later!! Im 73 now. I ll be thinking of you x
Aww sweetheart, thank you so much for this comment, its means a lot! Gosh its so important people get checked, I agree. We are feeling very positive about it and very happy with the decision on surgery. Mikes diagnoses is stage 3 but prostate is considered a high success rate so thats good. Sending masses of positive thoughts your way. ( 9 years is fantastic news!) Keep being you lovely lady xxx
Hi Mike, you've got a great attitude. It's a good thing that things are getting sorted out asap, all good wishes to yourself and Cheryl❤, love watching the channel 🙂x
Hi Mike. Lovely to see you. Thank you for letting us know how things are going. Great that you have a positive attitude towards everything. Hope things move fast for you and you get ‘better’. I’ve had 2 hip replacements so I know the pain you must be going through in your legs. Hope something can be done for you there. Onwards and upwards as they say, take care of yourself and love and best wishes to you both. Xx
Thank you so much, 2 hip replacements! Ouch. I hear the replacements are a game changer. Hope you are really well and the pain is gone. Take care, best wishes back you to xxx
Sorry to hear you're results are not the best Mike. But i help can't help admmire your positive approach to your treatment. I'm sure this approach will help so many others on this journey with you. Im sure this time next year you will feel like a new man . Best wishes for your future

My brother had stage 3 prostate cancer. He had the op by keyhole, radiotherapy and is on hormone therapy. My brother decided to carry on longer than five years with his hormone therapy due to being close to to stage 4(metastatic). He is fine and no recurrence. I hope all goes well for you Mike.
I’ve just stumbled on your channel and thought your husband sharing his medical story was so refreshing. It’s great how blokes are discussing these things and not sweeping them them under the carpet these days. Hope all goes well with your treatment, and I’m also looking forward to seeing you move into your new home and the renovations that you do. X
Thank you so much Alison, it was difficult for him as hes not one to share really but I'm pleased he has. He'll be out of action for a while so I will be getting my overalls on and getting stuck in - which should be fun! 😃😂❤️xxx
