You're getting so much done, it's amazing! I've lived in various places around the country and in some, people were chatty and easy to get to know and in others, not so much (as in now - I feel your pain! 😉). My dog is only ok with other dogs when he has seen them several times and got used to them and where we lived before, Toby (dog) and I made some really nice friends. I also think it's very normal to be a bit tearful. You have been building up to this move for a long time and now it's happened and although that's just what you wanted, there can be a sense of mourning for what went before. Go with the flow and it will pass. I hope Mike's operation goes well and he is soon on the mend. Take care.

You really are powering ahead. So thoughtful to soundproof the TV wall in the bedroom - if only everyone did the same! Hope all goes well with Mike's op, but please don't forget you need some R&R as well.

I cannot believe how much you have both achieved in such a short space of time. Absolutely amazing. I wish I lived near by, I would bring a nice roast dinner round for you. I can understand why you have been a bit teary, it’s only to be expected, not only have you moved, but you are undertaking so much. Bit by bit you will meet new people and dogs lol, and feel so much better. Can’t wait to see what you do to your first room, I know it will be stunning. Wishing Mike all the best for his upcoming operation, and a speedy recovery. Oh Cheryl, that bought back so many memories. I just kept thinking, we did that and we had to do that. Your both doing a great job though, we were both working full time so it took us about 7 years to complete the full house !! I'm looking forward to following your journey , keep your chin up xx

I’m in awe of both of you. The speed in which you’re tackling a multitude of jobs is inspiring. I take forever making my mind up on what I want and don’t want. Me & my husband are both ditherers but we get there in the end, we just take forever lol ..Try and take it a bit easy though, your wellbeing is more important.

Your coping well with your renovation guys .I've been in my flat 6weeks Monday. I've done 2 bedrooms ,the hall .This week I'm doing the living room which is a big project with a bit of carpentry. Doing it all myself at 56 lol .I'll have my tree up soon but I won't get a sofa in time for Christmas so we'll have to make do with dining chairs till January. ❤xx

I wondered why Willow hadn't gone crazy, lol. 😮😅😅. Good job you had the curtains up Cheryl with all that stripping going on, goodness knows what the neighbours would think 😱🙄😉🤣. You are both working really hard. I can't believe how much you have got done already . I agree about scrubbing everything and painting it white for now. I did the same. A blank canvas. I remember a electrician visiting who mentioned a white box! 6 months later you wouldn't recognise my home. Colourful paintings, pale blue settees, beautiful light fittings, gold and glamorous kitchen etc. All this to say that like you I love colour. That William Morris vase you bought will be the start of introducing fabulousness to your new home. It is going to be wonderful. All the very best for Mike's operation. X

Hiya, hey you need to take it easy and so does Mike, poor Willow was bound to feel restless, you should have got those plug ins that help to distress, mind you I could do with some of those, still no date on my move, now my solicitor says that we need to get a Deed of Variation so god knows how long that’s going to take nevermind the cost. Your going to be an expert at diy the way your carrying on, good on you. Your a great couple working together, wishing you all the love ❤

Wow, when you said you would be getting renovating immediately you really meant it. Super impressed by how much work you have done. Must be hard as you haven't yet been able to sit back and enjoy your new home and surroundings, but hope putting this footage together makes you realise how much has been achieved already. Making me feel lazy yet re-inspired to get on with my own reno.
