I've always wanted to live in something like this dugout cottage. It's so man cave primitive with the awesome fireplace. Doesn't need gas or electric, just a fire and a bed and a great friend with 4 legs to keep you company. He's a great dog! 🐕 ❤️

The variety of shelters, from dugout, to stone cliff side, to cozy cabin, to cool stove/oven heating designs, made from stone, or a hole in the ground, or both, is mind blowing. Thank you so much for sharing and teaching by example.
I like how he is using old school methods of Throwing clay into the cracks, its how the best bricks are made by hand, not machine

Yes, it's too narrow and possibly not quite tall enough. Needs to be at least another 2 or 3 feet wider. But it does look warm
The wider it is the more it takes to stay warm. Smaller space is a warmer space.

@@matthewbarnard9067 I'm on the same page with the others in that if it were me, I would have made it a bit wider, but you bring up a good point, which is that the dugout being smaller like that probably keeps it warmer. Still, I think his dugout is really cool! Looks real solid! 👍

Best one yet plus it looks much warmer and comfortable for you and you adorable pup. I can tell you both have a strong bond with each other.
Shelter needs to be 2 feet wider for a bed for the dog, so the dog has a spot to do the walk in circles to curl up

Бушкрафт удивили! Супер! Практично, добротно, удобно, молодец! Собака хорошая у вас. Столик от стены ещё сделать складной, надо поднял , надо опустил. Все сделали как надо! Очень понравилось! Теперь баньку сделать небольшую и под на весом отдельно печь, барбекюшницу и т д А так же двор выложить камушком или кольцами с бревен. Но это я так мысли вслух. Уже представляю, как вы все это сделаете и как будет здорово! У вас обязательно получится! Желаю успехов!!!💪💪💪💪👍👍👍👍🌻🌻❤️

@@ardhakulunda3893 согласен! Особенно заметна разница между культурами в организации очага/печки. Обратите внимание 26:32, огонь вовсю горит, а у них изо рта пар валит...все тепло в трубу улетело. При реальных холодах замерзнут они в этой землянке

Dog is exactly like my Son in Laws dog. He picked this dog for a purpose. LE canine are hand picked also.

Сразу видно что человек любит своего песеля , сначало его покормит , потом сам , и вкусняшки ему дает.
Плохая идея отапливать просто грунт,а в землянке воздух не нагревается. Нужна печка внутри самой землянки....потом сами поймёте. Такое многие уже проходили и пришлось исправлять потом. Удачи Вам и лайк.

You never introduced us to your beautiful four legged friend. 🐕 I love watching them run around and play while you do all the hard work. My dog would run off with all my logs 😂
Even in the summer if it gets to hot you can always sleep and relax in the dugout, i want to do something similar but I want to implement a small cabin on top and use the dugout as an sleeping quarter! Great work and it looks cool and cozy!
