@@dav5844 From a straight DPS standpoint it’s only “ok”, not top potential damage but certainly not bottom for heavy fighter pilot guns. But more and more systems are coming online, and the devs have said many times that once armor and component damage are fully functional, larger weapon sizes will have a lot more penetration. And don’t forget the range advantage. I think those are likely good balancers.

As much as I desperately want the 600i rework, so much so that I always vote for it for BIS, I've recently done some thinking on it and I've decided I would rather they wait until exploration/science and personnel transport gameplay have been designed and developed well enough that they won't need yet another redesign. I recently checked out the 890 Jump again and as stunning as it was back in the day, these days, with as far as CIG's ship design methodology has come, it's really showing its age. So much wasted space, so many weird little oversights, especially compared to the recently released, fantastically compact Zeus. And honestly I just don't want that to happen to my baby a second time haha.
Did I hear that right? Paints for the 890 are coming? Nice. Its about time. Yes, I know, the ship is in dire need of at least some texture fixes so we don´t look at the internal damage model every few steps we take aboard. Still good news though.
Biggest thing that stops me flying mine regularly is the overbearing waterfall noise that is audible absolutely everywhere in the back half of the ship! It’s unbearable!

No, just use the torpedo ones. You can open 'em up and people in chairs will fall out. Since there is no fall damage in chairs, it is like dropping hellpods.
I've always said that the mule should have been an Argo vehicle. A Drake Mule should be a hover pickup. Perfect for small cargo, heists, or being turned into a technical.
The Guardian looks like a hvy fighter I may add once it is an in-game purchase. May pick up an Ursa In game after next patch as well depending on what kind of wipe is done as I found an abandoned one and took it back to store in my hanger alcove.
I really hope that the Fortune has at least 4X the cargo capacity of the Vulture. The Vulture is more fun to use than the Reclaimer; but, you don't really have room to salvage components *and* RMC boxes. I'm really hoping that we get some paints for the Guardian that are reminiscent of the various Tie Fighters. Some of the Scorpius paints look like they'd be appropriate for an X-Wing.

The 2xS5 is much better than 4xS2 and 1xS5 Vanguard, where the choice of S2 guns is limited, and due to the different calibers, the shells had different ballistic trajectories. This was the main reason I didn’t like the Vanguard series, and I'm glad it will have an alternative.
@@kazer4040 The Banu Defender and Cutlass also only have one shield. And both are useful in a fight. If the Guardian is agil as aspected one shield is enough.
Lol. Not really. It has no gunner seat, it only has two guns, it has size 1 power plants, it's less maneuverable than the Vanguards (surprisingly) and it's an easy target to hit due to its large profile. I believe it also has less hull hp than the Vanguards. Nothing is for certain though. CIG has ADHD with balancing ships that appears to follow little logic.
@@BigBobBlazer I don't think it's worth evaluating the components of a ship that hasn't even been officially announced yet. Everything could change, and for example, the S5 gun on the Vanguard might be handed over to a second gunner :D

I heard they maybe two variants to the MISC Starlancer. One is called the Starlancer MAX and the base variant has drones. I hope that is true. I LOVE MISC Design.
It has a variant that's labeled as the Guardian QT but we don't have any other information about it other than that. People are speculating that it has a quantum enforcement device but we really don't know anything about it. That's why I didn't include it. I'll do another update if we get any more info.
I know some youtubers want to use leaks for content, but as a Star Citizen fan who enjoys the suspense and fan of your content I am more than severely disappointed that you put a leak front and center as a thumbnail.

With the lightnings, shockwave and executive paints, we know they can kill it on a skin. After they turned my F8 into a glorified Vanguard, I’ve really been hoping for a reason to keep it. I guess it’s going to buyback now.
