I have 43 mpg in the city, can't be happier. The exterior looks sharp and sporty, the interior is luxury, there are bunch of technology I have everything I need. The ride is so smooth and comfortable. I love the compact size, it's a perfect car for a single person or a couple. Absolutely love it.
I live close to a Lexus dealer and have looked at this model on two occasions, but, the salespersons on staff always say this model is underpowered and you should look at NX300.
@@stedye Yes, the next level up is NX, but for a single woman, UX is perfect. If I have a family, I'd have chosen NX too. Since I mainly drive in the city, the power is more than enough. Even on highway, it has no problem to speed up to 70, 80. But for a family the interior is too small.
@@stedye lol, the NX is also underpowered for its weight !...Even my RXHybrid cant hold up with newer german SUV´s; but its much more smooth and reliable.
Yup, thanks for mentioning the Walkman. I haven't heard anything about it for ever. I used to own a generic brand but I loved it. I still have some of my mix tapes. Those cassettes are precious to me. I've dated myself but I don't care...cause I'm going to buy this car soon and I can relive my Walkman days.
Hi, do you get any vibration while driving on the highway? My car vibrates and it can be felt on the floor and all over your legs. Passengers also feel the same. Balance done, alignment done, now dealer is going to replace the tires. Did yours did same thing?
Debating between the Audi Q3 and the Lexus UX 250H. Anyone out there have any words of wisdom? I have watched so many reviews, test drove both and I still can't make up my mind.
I test drove the audiq3 Volvo xc40 and the ux250h. Decided on the Lexus mostly for piece of mind. Lexus reliability is top notch and relatively cheaper to maintain than the the other 2.
I currently have the Q3. My lease is up and I'm getting the UX250H. The Q3 is comfy w/ better trunk space, is fun to drive, but gets terrible fuel economy (and uses premium). Also the Q3 has a terrible turning radius compared to the UX.
SubCompact? Its a mid sized car. AWD is not standard but an unnecessary addition. 53 MPG is excellent for a car of this size and performance. The eco meter dispay can be swapped for the more interesting rev counter.

Penguin it’s executed very well. I’d of course love to see a plug-in hybrid version offered, or an all-electric. And as I suggested the cargo space could be a bit larger.
MichaelDrivesOfficial thanks for replying. I am looking for a new car and UX is in my list. I own a CT200h and thought it would be a perfect replacement. However I am worried, like CT, about the cargo space, and mediocre, not-so-luxury interior. Plus the conventional (non electronic) gear shift could be a deal breaker.
I won't be buying ANY Lexus (or any other car for that matter) that has the info controls on the console. Had a Volvo years ago that had window & mirror controls there & it was a pain in the ass.
After 8 months of driving in a variety of situations, my UX 250 h gets 42.2 mpg. It rides and handles beautifully. It is comfy and looks sharp too.
Thrilled to hear you are happy with it David. Hopefully my review was accurate and aligned with your ownership.
I just read they come only with run flats. I will not buy a Lexus because of that.
I have a 2021 but I’m only getting 32 mpg, am I driving it wrong?
@@danielbarfield3407 It takes a while for the real mileage to kick in. Over time, you will learn how to get the most mileage out of your hybrid.

I just bought a 2020 UX, and this was very informative.
So great to hear that! I hope you love the car, it’s such a great size.
I am buying one next month and this video helped a lot! Nice review Micheal!
Glad I could help!
Detailed excellent review!
Appreciate the feedback!
Finally a good and indepth review for this model 5 stars !
Appreciated!
Great review; I especially appreciate your tips and information at the end! 😃
Glad it was helpful!

base trim is the way to buy this
Great review. I like your style. And your willingness to admit you owned a Walkman.
Love that comment! I actually never had the money for a Walkman, I had a no-name brand and then an Aiwa, but so had dreams.
MichaelDrivesOfficial haha. I thought I was a certified boss for having that big-bird-yellow eyesore known as the Walkman Sport
That’s exactly the model I wanted. Later on I did get the Sport boom box. That rocked!
Nice review
Good review!
Thank you Santiago, appreciate the feedback!
Great review.
Thank you Neo!
Love the color for real
Definitely helps finding it in a parking lot!
Hello :) I live in UK where it barely snows (just loaded of rain) would you say Front Wheel Drive is better than AWD in this case? thanks
Definitely 2wd with some good winter tyres would be enough for UK weather conditions.
yeah BUT the rear e-motor is also a generator too....so relaoding goes faster.... i like that in my RX
The AWD verison is slower and gives less MPG. You dont need it.

I didn't experience this in my time with the car. Have you driven another of the same car brand new just to compare?

I was all in favour of the Q3 until now, with insane fuel prices, I am heading in to get the 250h next week.
@@berkeleystreetmusic2410 the Q5 and up require premium, not the Q3.

It’s a subcompact based on interior volume, however the EPA actually classifies it as a compact for their purposes.

@@MichaelDrivesOfficial Nice one. Thanks for letting me know 👍
My 2020 UX250h doesn’t have a moonroof, I don’t think it’s standard. FYI
Absolutely nobody reads maps anymore dude, (12:21) this is the year 2021!🤣😂
Beautiful UX. I will definitely put her on my shortlist.
Good point, especially in the back seat. Should have said "book"!
If this car is gas mileage is only 39 mpg. PHEV GO more than 39 mpg.
If you are in LA, you'll be lucky to get 34MPG max
So, there is nothing you dislike?

You can access just about everything with voice command from a button on the steering wheel.
Good review, crappy car. Lack of power, horrible infotainment. Save $$ and get Toyota.
I test drove this three times and it had plenty of power. It's not a muscle car, but it's fine and gets out of its own way fast.
What model Toyota?
