You'll never get a negative review of any kind from the larger and more popular youtubers. I thanked him for his honesty but walked away shaking my head. The more popular ones will not bite the hand that feeds them.... and it's for that reason that the likes of Stephan should be supported and commended for their honesty and bravery.

@@Off.Track4x4 "to give back not get rich from pushing shit". Is that why you have a table in front of you blatantly full of mainly Chinese products you are pushing? Really glad you have done this video. Andrew St Pierre White also did a video on this a few hours ago too (at the time of this comment). Saw the two Louis Rossmann videos on that and he didn't hold back. In my opinion DCS has got bad legal advice or has bad solicitors. Seems to me DCS has actually shot themselves in the foot, or cut their nose to spite their face.
Hey Phil thanks for commenting and supporting the fight. Glad others are posting, more the better. My first filming was balls to the wall nasty, but I decided to tone it down and watch what I said. I'm guessing the owner of DCS would be near bankruptcy and he might try to make his money back by taking lawsuits out on everyone 😅🤣😂
@@Off.Track4x4 I guess they think they are trying to prove a point, unfortunately for them, they have skeletons in their closet so these will come back to bite them in Stephans favour.
Interesting in Will Prowse's vid yesterday he found the cells appear to be either re sleeved or b grade cells, that battery should have technically been 120 but he tested and only had 102ah, all in his vid. Interesting stuff
But wasn't the battery tested, marked as a 100 amp hr? I could be wrong, but regardless of brand, isn't there typically a higher amp potential, (if that is what you call it!) than what you actually use, the BMS system holding some back to protect the batteries? e.g. an 120 amp is really a 100 amp?? Ironically, it was off an earlier DCS review done by Steffan a few years back, that we went ahead and purchased some DCS batteries from Paul to run our camping fridge and lighting etc. Reading all these negative reviews now, and even watching one done by an American man, who went into great detail, we are not sure the truer health of our batteries, because we have not taken them out to do a battery load test. All I will say, is that the batteries are still going well after a few years of use, although, we do not have them under the bonnet, where exposure to heat seems to be a real problem with these batteries. We have two X 100 amp/hr in the very back of our large 4wd (an old Holden Suburban). They sit in a marine ply box that my husband made, supported underneath by layers of carpet and foam, etc so vibration hopefully should not be such an issue, nor dust or water ingress. We have another, a 200 amp in the trailer, which we made a special dust/waterproof box for. We have had this second one I think nearly 4 years (or since the start of Covid, where we had bought a second fridge), the first ones 2 X 100 amp/hr, maybe 18 months older. I recall Stefan doing a fantastic review, which included reference to DCS being the only company that he had approached, being prepared to open the the outer casing of the batteries to show how well built they were inside. (at the time, the likes of Enerdrive, Itech, and I think, another one....'Revolution' were not prepared to do this!). So here I am a bit confused. It is a shame that likes of Australia, where most of the lithium is mined, that we don't make our own here, though I guess the cost factor (labor/wages) might ensure a higher cost. Per our batteries from DCS, it would be good to know what a battery load test might reveal anyway - but it would appear so far, we have been fortunate. Cheers!
Hey mate, thanks for commenting. I'm with you I don't see how they survive this. Week after week youtubers are keeping it front and centre. Google is a great idea 💡
Thanks for highlighting this issue - watched several YT channels covering the action. The more get on board, and organised, the better Stephan's case is.
It's great when a company does its own negative advertising, the battery community is large and I've not seen the review but thanks DCS you made it easy when crossing off who not to trade with.
Good onya for supporting Stefan mate! Its pretty cool how much support he has had! None of the big boy youtubers will jump on board because they make their money from just saying the good stuff about the latest sponsors - everyone should realise by now its simply advertising and more than likely they would probably choose other products/brands on their personal vehicles . . . would be interesting to know but its all down to $$$$ which is a shame but also understandable. Just FYI - Something you mentioned about batteries and the degradation - every battery out there will degrade over time - it is generally 2-3% per year on average through "normal use: but obviously varies on battery quality and usage conditions etc. The major issue Stefan has had is that DCS warranted it to degrade more with under bonnet use but in real life experience Stefan encountered a much more dramatic degradation than what he was told to expect. Ive been following Stefan for about 6 or 7 yrs and have always placed so much faith in him because he is so transparent unlike the majority of youtubers who review products. Its bloody brilliant seeing all the support Stefan has had and Im sure dcs will just drop it and move on, but they havent handled anything well up to this point so maybe they wont see the light . . . will be interesting to see! Oh and that Li time battery ypou have there looks absolutely huge!! is that only 200ah? Looks like it should be at least 400 for the size . . . . Have you heard of Power Paul batteries? If not look em up cos they are amazing power for the size and very high amp draws etc. Market leading for sure. Ive had one for 18 months now and simply brilliant - not much bigger than my old 105ah AGM and it has 270ah lithium power so its a massive jump for me. Not cheap but quality and bang for buck is next level
I rely on TH-cam google reviews on products before I buy anything Stephan done a perfect job reviewing the battery Without genuine reviews we’re all wasting our money I have no fear knocking any product to anyone if it’s crap
Hey mate, correct if you bought it directly from DCS or from a retailer in Queensland and DCS aren't approving the refund then you lodge a case through QCAT. Message me on Instagram if you need more info as I don't see reply on here. @off.track4x4
I believe each state has their own version of QCAT e.g. in Vic, the office is VCAT. It’s a fantastic government facility to enable the ‘average Joe’ to initiate court action without necessarily engaging with exorbitantly expensive legal representation
We’re stronger together. “Someone” also issued a “privacy” strike against a US TH-camr that tested a similar DCS battery and then opened the battery to show the build quality. That is a great video to watch
good for the support. You mentioned you signed a non disclosure agreement. Was this with DCS and if so was it a condition of you receiving a " free to you" product to review.
They have absolutely destroyed their brand. Stefan is a top fella. Honest as the day is long. His reviews are fair, honest and well thought out. DCS really messed up with this one.
I don't have an offroad vehicle, but am considering a caravan in the future, so I have watched a number of Stefans videos in the past, along with a lot of other Australian youtubers. This lawsuit has taught me one thing - when I buy a battery in the future, I will 100% make sure it is not a DCS battery purely because of their action in this case.
Mate we just got a van! 100% recommend it they are amazing 👏 Yeah be careful what youtubers tell you are good products, only take advice from the 1s that are open about payments they receive.
Thanks mate really appreciate that, it's not easy knowing I'm loosing upto a couple of grand a week to be honest. But I can sleep at night knowing I'm doing the right thing.
DCS have told us what they are about that’s what FAFO means. They should have proven their point by being good enough. Work with the guy who as a popular TH-cam creator can reach a large audience. Stand together folks as a subscriber I have no interest is following people that are just not good enough. We can all do better and until we do. Nothing changes. ❤❤❤ is the answer the hippies had it right, in the 60’s.
Louis Rossman is the man doin gods work. He is a legend. People need to watch him. Yeh nah those big aussie names wont say anything. They're sell outs. Thats all there is.
Mate he's not holding back hey! He's definitely not scared of getting taken to court 😂 I was really hoping one of them might have said something in their video.
Thanks for the video, I am in the process of a battle with a seller here in Victoria. at this stage I have consumer affairs dealing with it and then vcat will take it up 1 step but I am sure they will not help me with taking it to court so what was the $150.00 option you mentioned. It was hard to understand in the video and the sub titles were miles off too, can you write it up or reply here so I can look at that option please. Many thanks guys. I have donated to Stephan's cause and look forward to the outcome. Some seriously shonky shit happening here for sure.
Hey Mike, So don't worry about Customer affairs or fair trading all the government agencies don't have power to help. Courts are the only ones that have that power. In Queensland we have QCAT, if you bought the battery from a retailer in Vic then VCAT is who you will lodge the matter with. Look up consumers Law that's what you are taking the retailer to court for breaking. No lawyers are aloud it's noice and simple, would most likely get sorted out at mediation. Message me on Instagram if you have any questions as I don't see replies on this. @off.track4x4
Thanks for the content and your support of Stefan. ps: I can't take my eyes off that 200ah Li time battery. I mean...wtf is with the size? 2 maybe 2.5x the size of a quality 300Ah
The only way for DCS to save itself from potential bankruptcy, in my opinion (don’t sue me DCS), is for them to admit they went the wrong way, to recognise their mistakes and to tell everyone they are working to improve their products instead of silencing those who show the facts. And, of course, to reimburse Stephan for any legal fees to date. Otherwise, good riddance.
Funny you bring this up, I brought that exact point up with my mate. We both don't think the CEO is the type to swallow his pride. My mate also thinks it's to late, who would trust their products moving forward? I reckon they will rebrand and open up under a different name. DCS I don't think can continue.
Also Paul Tomolowicz, Managing Director of Deep Cycle Systems got busted driving on Fraser Island's Ecologically Sensitive dunes a few years ago, the clowns posted a video of them doing it, so it wasn't hard to know who it was, this is the sort of people who are in charge of DCS, it's illegal to drive where they were as the dunes are turtle migration sensitive areas, I hope the court case goes Stephan's way as these companies can't have it both ways, if you can't take some criticism then don't hand the product out to be reviewed, if bad review comes back, then step up and own the problem and fix it, this is what good companies do, not sue the reviewer.
Well said mate! I haven't seen anyone yet backing them for what they are doing. That's shocking them driving on the dunes and even more stupid to film it 🙄 Thanks for commenting 🙂
What is the QACC card claim? Or something along those lines you were trying to say. That is through consumer Law and is $150. I can't find anything on it. What's the correct wording?
Hey mate QCAT if you bought directly from them as they are located in Queensland where the sale took place. Messages me on Instagram if you need any help with it @off.track4x4
It appears that DCS had the archives deleted from the wayback machine, but didnt know about TROVE - which is the national library in Canberra. Now that this info is out there, they are frankly screwed!
Great review mate dcs should be ashamed of themselves for treating Stephan like they did like another viewer stated we rely on these reviews that should be thanking him and learning from it to make their product better. Definitely no dcs batteries for me 👎🏻 I watched the American guy do his review he was blown away that you can’t talk freely about a product in Australia what is the world coming to.
The real judgement is in the hands of consumers. As long as we remember this and exercise our purchasing power, no wealthy company can suppress honest review.
A small point … things could be different nowadays but I’m not sure the part about ‘no lawyers being allowed to legally represent on behalf clients in QCAT hearings’ is entirely accurate. I underwent the whole QCAT process about 10yrs ago where I took the Secretary of Defence (ADF) to court regarding an entitlement which they (Dept of Veteran Affairs) were trying to deny me of. Whilst I represented myself, DVA engaged with a law firm to act on their behalf and on the day of the hearing, I found myself up against their two lawyers in the courtroom. Long story short, I trusted my evidence to do my talking for me and in the end, I won my case … but it was an extremely harrowing experience let me tell you!!
Hey Rich, thanks for your feed back definitely different now I just went through a matter 2 months ago, both parties had to agree we had not received any legal advice. Was a great process I won of course because companies try to push their weight around and just hope no one will go to QCAT.
1 customer has already been through the QCAT process. The tribunal sided with DCS under the new warranty term. It was a joke, QCAT have no idea about the problems.
Where did you see that? Surely that can't be true? That's disgusting if it is courts are ment to look at the facts and that's it. If purchased prior to the change 80% warranty I guess as you said the judge probably didn't know what battery capacity was 😅
Obviously DCS have absolutely no idea about how a company should operate. Firstly a companies biggest asset are their employees the second is your quality product and third listeng to your customer. Without your growing customer base you will have none of the first two. We rely on these factual reviews to help people like myself who don't have the expertise in these sorts of products. My business was built on customer service, customer service and customer service.
Thanks for commenting mate, you really did say it perfectly 👌 It bet your business is killing it, glad there is companies out there doing the right thing 👍
We agree, any review posts listed on TH-cam that have been done, will be be scrutinised & if they don't like the results the business will try to have the post removed or try suing us over a "honest review"
Isn't it funny I am yet to have a company try this on me. I went to town on Darchee and they only reached out in private message to tell me I'm wrong. Maybe it's because of my autism? No one wants to be the company suing a disabled guy 😅🤣 An honest unpaid for review is all that belongs on TH-cam.
life chemistry is just not meant to be topped up and stored at 100% soc which is what happens under the bonnet, lead acid chemistry loves those conditions
DCS didn't like the real-life testing reults of their battery, so they 1. insideously changed the terms and conditions of the warranty 2. sued Stephan for telling the truth Great way to destroy a company
DCS had two ways to go - accept the results and broadcast their remedial actions. Or sue to hide results and pretend it never happened. Guess which trashes the company?
Mate so true! Also shows they probably didn't do in-house testing or any RND out using the batteries before releasing to market. As they didn't seem to know this issue existed.
What type of battery are you talking about? If it's a lead acid deep cycle battery then it will not keep its capacity as well as other types. The greater the level of discharge the shorter the life of the battery, it's a sliding scale. I have my 200aH batteries set to no more than 50% discharge and they have lasted 9yrs so far. If I had discharged them regularly to say 90% then they would have been dead within 2 years. Don't know about DCS this is only for general info.
Free speech in Australia? 🤔 😂 🤣 Great joke mate 👍 I left the 4x4 community 10+ year's ago, I covered all of Gippsland and honestly there's more stupidity than I can handle. Eg:Gippsland OFFROAD says that's my name! "Gippsland 4x4" looks a lot different than Gippsland OFFROAD! 😂 People constantly complaining they break parts on our track's yet we tell them a 4in lift and 35's is a must all for them to turn up in A/T 31's! 🤔 I later turned to electronics, building my own batterys ect. It's all a Scam! If they want to play dirty, play dirtier! It's all in the BMS!!!
@@Off.Track4x4 exactly, if they're rebranded and NOT helping fellow companies by endorsing the products they use to build the pack's? That's the first red flag! From what I see in picture's is rebranding and or scrubbed brand names from PCBs. Also cell's don't match pictures from the same timeframe telling me that they're buying battery's in very low patches. So that'd be very inconsistent!
DCS should NOT win over Stefan as an example for freedom of speech. Are DCS going to sue the Aussie Government as well for their findings? I hope they kept the DCS battery they tested for evidence.
If I was DCS I’d be spending my money on R&D to fix the issue rather than lawyers to protect the reputation. Unfortunately it’s blown up and I wouldn’t touch DCS as well as others. Next step would be retailers to boycott DCS and get them out of Australia
Funny you bring your retailers.... did you know if DCS go under the retailers are the ones that cover the warranty! So if I was selling their batteries I'd be sending them back right about now
DSC might be chasing www.youtube.com/@WillProwse about his battery review? He made a community post about complaints lodged against his DCS battery review video, but that post has been taken down too
He did a great job hey, I wonder if DCS is talking to lawyers about suing everyone now reposting? As we are now talking shit about the company not the product which is defamation..... well we are all just going our opinions I guess 🤣😅
Also for everyone. Freedom of speech includes everything. Yes even that group. You don't get to pick and choose. If you do you don't believe in Freedom but tyranny
How many other big 4x4 channels will mention this? And how many will remain silent so they don't ruin their gravy train of taking cash for positive reviews?
Mate love tour comment! I'm guessing your getting sick of all the paid product promotions in videos aswell. I bet very few of the big Aussie TH-camrs will talk up.
@@Off.Track4x4 I sent info about the dcs law suit to one large aus youtuber.. By PM they said it was terrible and they've previously been threatened with a law suit, but on their channel they mention nothing. Most of the guys you mentioned are all mates and a bit of a closed club. They'd hate to mention someone else in case it steals their clicks.
Funny you mention steal their clicks! To me if they did more collaborations and helped the smaller channels out I reckon there would be more content there for more people coming on TH-cam to watch. I feel that the content is getting less and less as so many of the small channels give up.
A correction, the case is set for the district/county court and so cannot set precedent in this matter. If Stephan can be shown to tell the truth he wins. Truth is an absolute defence in defamation.
This is a simple case of a person acting before thinking in my opinion and we can see the result as plain as day. Instead of working with the content provider to help improve their product, they just threw a major dummy spit and gave no thought to the ramifications of what the fallout could possibly be. Well, the whole world knows who DCS is now, but not for the reasons they perhaps might have wanted...
the biggest issue Stephan saga revealed that content creators failed to mention they have signed a secret NDA's preventing content creators from even mentioning there is a secret agreement with the manufacturer
I think it's pretty clear to see who's taking the cash and doing the dirty in their subscribers. It's up to us the consumers of youtube to push back in the comments and ask for transparency. I would never sign any contract with a supplier, I want freedom to speak my mind.
Aus defamation laws are crap - but truth is a defense - so test and document, and reject the time wasting empty threats of lawyers and obstinate companies / individuals.
I just wonder if DCS will end up also trying to sue their own legal team for giving them the absolute worst legal advice to continue pursuing the case against Stefan when they lose that case? I reckon the only thing stopping them is that they’ll be flat broke and out of business by then 🤣
So the little girls at DCS wanted a review of their product, but spat the dummy when it didn’t go their way! It’s actually a rubbish Chinese made battery! Not suitable for installation in an engine bay. So Sue me I dare ya!
All battery chemistry types degrade with every cycle. A new battery might get 200ah but even after a few cycles it will start to degrade. That is just the nature of the chemistry. The issue is how fast the battery degrades with each cycle. This is rated by manufacturers based on specific conditions. Temperature is one of these and LiFEPO4 is certainly affected. Under bonnet use which these DCS batteries like all such batteries of this chemistry type will suffer advanced degradation because of heat. Unless the battery has active cooling or heating to manage that thermal load the chemistry dictates the performance. DCS seem to not understand this basic fact. Do not put batteries of this type under your bonnet and expect them to last particularly long.
Mate incredibly well said! I have been telling people for years Lithium does not belong under the bonnet, some listen some done. I haven't seen a Lithium Battery that the manufacturer said can operate in temps above 80 degrees, an engine bay in summer is well over 80 degrees. So the manufacturer specs even say they can't go under their, yet for some reason the shops sell them as under bonnet Batteries 🤔
Thank you for supporting Stephan with this

@@MrSwaggie1 that's good to hear,I don't think they can take it down, cause Will's channel test batteries, solar, etc.Has the test gear .Can't see what the problem with the video would be.
Great informative video. Explains a lot. And yes us TH-camrs definitely need to stick together. Strength in numbers. Cheers.
Well said mate! Glad to see this week a few more are jumping on board.
i Have a dcs 200ah slimline I bought in 2022, This is useful information, thank you
Glad to help, let me know if you get it tested
Solid vid, look forward to updates as things unfold
Thanks mate, thanks for commenting I'll definitely do an update video
Will Prowse did a review, only 17hrs ago. Big guy in the states to do with solar, batteries etc. He wasnt happy either
How good is that guys over in the US have jumped on board 👏
@@Off.Track4x4 That would not surprise me in the least.
Will Prowse Has just done his own assessment of the DCS battery in question, Interesting inside the guts of it.
Was a great watch wasn't it! Just more bad stuff coming out. I don't know why DCS opened this can of worms
Was another massive finding hey! And the cable rubbing that would short put the battery..... Glass houses is all I'm going to say 🤣😅
Cheers!
They'll go under for this, don't forget to leave your 1 star review on Google everyone !!
Yep your not wrong mate, if we all work together they will have no option but to pull the case
A comment for the YT algo. Good video btw.
Thanks for kinds words and supporting the video. 🙂
It's great when a company does its own negative advertising, the battery community is large and I've not seen the review but thanks DCS you made it easy when crossing off who not to trade with.
Yeah mate, I think everyone knows now not to buy DCS. I wonder how long they can last?
Another really good review mate of what’s going on.
Thanks mate, and thank you for commenting to keep the storing going
Hey mate well said, I'll look into the batteries I love bring new products into the spotlight
I rely on TH-cam google reviews on products before I buy anything
Stephan done a perfect job reviewing the battery
Without genuine reviews we’re all wasting our money
I have no fear knocking any product to anyone if it’s crap
Good on you! I'm the same I will call something shit if it is shit, people have a right to know
Did you say “q-cat claim”? What is that? Can you post a link in the description?
Hey mate, correct if you bought it directly from DCS or from a retailer in Queensland and DCS aren't approving the refund then you lodge a case through QCAT. Message me on Instagram if you need more info as I don't see reply on here.
@off.track4x4
I saw that! Bloody pathetic they did want it getting out there how bad their build quality was.
Awesome support mate. Well done 👌
Thanks for watching all these years mate. Happy to help out the little guy 😀
good for the support. You mentioned you signed a non disclosure agreement. Was this with DCS and if so was it a condition of you receiving a " free to you" product to review.
Hello Adam na it was a caravan company, I won't take any products if they ask me to sign contracts.
Great to see another supporting video ❤
Happy to support the little guy. Thank you for commenting to give the video traction
Will Prowse from the US got hands on a dcs battery. He was impressed with the output but not so the build quality.
I thought it was a really well put together video hey, shows someone who really knows that they doing has looked at it.
They have absolutely destroyed their brand. Stefan is a top fella. Honest as the day is long. His reviews are fair, honest and well thought out. DCS really messed up with this one.
Mate well said! I just wonder if enough damage has been done to get them to call off the court case
100% recommend it they are amazing 👏
Yeah be careful what youtubers tell you are good products, only take advice from the 1s that are open about payments they receive.
DCS are really enjoying the Streisand Effect..... lol
Hahah love this
@@Off.Track4x4I didn’t know what the Streisand effect was, had to look it up LOL :-)

They should have proven their point by being good enough.

I was really hoping one of them might have said something in their video.
THANK YOU
THAT TRUE WORDS ABOUT
It is mate!
Thanks for commenting to keep the video in the spot light
Thanks for the video, I am in the process of a battle with a seller here in Victoria. at this stage I have consumer affairs dealing with it and then vcat will take it up 1 step but I am sure they will not help me with taking it to court so what was the $150.00 option you mentioned. It was hard to understand in the video and the sub titles were miles off too, can you write it up or reply here so I can look at that option please. Many thanks guys. I have donated to Stephan's cause and look forward to the outcome. Some seriously shonky shit happening here for sure.
Hey Mike,
So don't worry about Customer affairs or fair trading all the government agencies don't have power to help.
@off.track4x4
Hoping lots of DCS owners now testing the capacity of their batteries, discovering they have dropped by 20% and requesting a refund
Yep that was why I brought it up, an extra jab to them 🤣😂
Thanks for the content and your support of Stefan. ps: I can't take my eyes off that 200ah Li time battery. I mean...wtf is with the size? 2 maybe 2.5x the size of a quality 300Ah
Hahahah yeah they aren't the smallest, but the inside of them is put together with really good cells and build quality is meant to be amazing.
@@Off.Track4x4 :)
even here in Norway, we are against this company BS - I hope they get whats coming
Thaks for watching all the way in Norway!! The DCS issue really is going world wide 🤣😂
@@Off.Track4x4sadly egos sink ships. I hope people expose the rebranded company as this company.
im spreading the word amongst my community …
Good on you for sharing! Hopefully this is the last time we see this happening.
That's shocking them driving on the dunes and even more stupid to film it 🙄

Good on you for supporting Stefan. Im afraid you will never find 4WD24/7 offering support for this.
Wouldn't it be good if they did support stuff like this! They have the ability to make real change but they don't.
I’d never heard of DCS before a TH-camr I follow posted about this issue, I sent 10 bucks to help Stefan fight his corner
That's so nice of you to donate, your a legend 😊
Every part helps
I would personally never give DCS a single cent of my money. The information I have seen is making them look very ugly.
It's not good hey, who would have thought all this would have come out at the start.
Thanks for commenting mate 👍
I wouldn't have one under the bonnet . I wouldn't buy one on the price alone.😂
You better get yourself a Panasonic Toughbook if you are filming in the rain!
Hahah your the first one that picked up on the rain 🤣😂
It appears that DCS had the archives deleted from the wayback machine, but didnt know about TROVE - which is the national library in Canberra. Now that this info is out there, they are frankly screwed!
Sucked in to them, don't be dodgy and nothing bad can come out.
Great review mate dcs should be ashamed of themselves for treating Stephan like they did like another viewer stated we rely on these reviews that should be thanking him and learning from it to make their product better. Definitely no dcs batteries for me 👎🏻
I watched the American guy do his review he was blown away that you can’t talk freely about a product in Australia what is the world coming to.
Mate very well said 👌
Thank God everyone is standing by him through this
The real judgement is in the hands of consumers. As long as we remember this and exercise our purchasing power, no wealthy company can suppress honest review.
Best comment I've read all day! So true 👍
So many people forgot this and are scared of big company's
While agree, I have to say, product reviews are a scourge on camping/4wding content creation.
I'm all for reviews so long as they are honest
Good onya mate. 👍
Thanks mate 🙂
1 customer has already been through the QCAT process.
The tribunal sided with DCS under the new warranty term.
It was a joke, QCAT have no idea about the problems.
Where did you see that? Surely that can't be true? That's disgusting if it is courts are ment to look at the facts and that's it. If purchased prior to the change 80% warranty
I guess as you said the judge probably didn't know what battery capacity was 😅
@Off.Track4x4 I'm in contact with him and it's as true as we stand here mate.
Very interesting, should be able search for Deep Cycle Systems under QCAT hearings.
Thanks for commenting mate, you really did say it perfectly 👌
It bet your business is killing it, glad there is companies out there doing the right thing 👍
Nailed it.
No one wants to be the company suing a disabled guy 😅🤣
An honest unpaid for review is all that belongs on TH-cam.
Are they DCS batteries or are they Chinese batteries that DCS market?
I believe that DCS put them together but import the parts. But I could be wrong
The strategy that DCS has adopted is faulty to say the least.
I hear you mate! Not great management
The negative views will cost them much more than they will possibly gain from their lawsuit. DCS haven't thought this out very well.
Mate I know right! In Australia you just don't get a good pay day for suing it's not worth doing, lawyers take it all.
life chemistry is just not meant to be topped up and stored at 100% soc which is what happens under the bonnet, lead acid chemistry loves those conditions
Not to mention the crazy summer head. I agree with you mate, stick to what works
Cannot make comments on their instagram page currently.
That's mental hey, I was thinking of calling them today to get their side of the store, thoughts?
DCS didn't like the real-life testing reults of their battery, so they
1. insideously changed the terms and conditions of the warranty
2. sued Stephan for telling the truth
Great way to destroy a company
I'm hearing the government is looking into them 😅
Surely they can't make it back from this?
@@Off.Track4x4 probably apply for a govt. grant !

It's great watching isn't it!!! Was going really well till he opened the battery up.... boom looks like could be more lying 🤥
@Off.Track4x4 yeah all was good till he pulled it apart,i donated some money to help with the lawsuit this stuff cant stand
Let ronny at them!! He will get the word across
Would be good if he did say something, no risk of being taken to court now, to many people sharing the story.
Hey mate both their lithium house battery's and car lithium batteries appear to have an issue
Free speech in Australia? 🤔 😂 🤣
Great joke mate 👍
I left the 4x4 community 10+ year's ago, I covered all of Gippsland and honestly there's more stupidity than I can handle.
Eg:Gippsland OFFROAD says that's my name! "Gippsland 4x4" looks a lot different than Gippsland OFFROAD! 😂
People constantly complaining they break parts on our track's yet we tell them a 4in lift and 35's is a must all for them to turn up in A/T 31's! 🤔
I later turned to electronics, building my own batterys ect.
It's all a Scam!
If they want to play dirty, play dirtier!
It's all in the BMS!!!
Don't alot of these companies just use other brands cells and BMS, very few make the parts themselves
Mate very well said, they can't just go after the little guy.
Subscribed, thanks for standing up for free speech.
Thanks for the sub mate, just doing what's right 😁
If I was DCS I’d be spending my money on R&D to fix the issue rather than lawyers to protect the reputation. Unfortunately it’s blown up and I wouldn’t touch DCS as well as others. Next step would be retailers to boycott DCS and get them out of Australia
Funny you bring your retailers.... did you know if DCS go under the retailers are the ones that cover the warranty! So if I was selling their batteries I'd be sending them back right about now
@@Off.Track4x4 It’s usually the other way, that’s so dodgy

No a precedent in court but with other companies following them.
But not going to happen now 😂🤣
The breakdown by Will Prowse says it all! Total junk inside
Was great hey, so good it looks like DCS might have reported it to TH-cam to try and get it removed 😅🤣
Mate well said! Could have all been avoided hey.
the biggest issue Stephan saga revealed that content creators failed to mention they have signed a secret NDA's preventing content creators from even mentioning there is a secret agreement with the manufacturer
I think it's pretty clear to see who's taking the cash and doing the dirty in their subscribers. It's up to us the consumers of youtube to push back in the comments and ask for transparency. I would never sign any contract with a supplier, I want freedom to speak my mind.
shit-yeah

Aus defamation laws are crap - but truth is a defense - so test and document, and reject the time wasting empty threats of lawyers and obstinate companies / individuals.
I'll be interested to see how it does play out in court if it makes it that far. I agree you shouldn't get in shit for telling the truth
